Erik was quick to respond and get something scheduled and called a day ahead to verify the appt. He came and took down the old fan / installed the new one very quickly. Checked out my other problem which couldn't be quickly fixed, but I won't hesitate to call him back when I'm ready to do that project.

We needed a larger service panel because we will need to do more wiring at a later date. We are also remodeling the bathroom and wanted the bathroom on a separate circuit. We took advantage of an Angie's list special offer by Renaissance Electric. Erik was very prompt and courteous. I felt that he was knowledgeable and thorough. He checked outside and determined that we had no grounding, which we suspected was the case. When we had that bad storm the next day, I felt much better that we had the house grounded. I was surprised that I didn't have to have the electricity off that long for Erik to switch the panel. He also answered my questions patiently and to my satisfaction.

This service was done as part of an Angie's List special for upgrading up to 10 outlets. We only had 7 which needed replacing. Erik arrived early, evaluated the outlets and confirmed that the work could be completed with existing wiring. Worked quickly and was done within an hour. I had asked him to take a look at one more outlet that was a two-prong in the basement, but was clearly out of code. He told me that, unfortunately, it was not covered by the special (some wiring fixes were needed to get it up to code), and we scheduled time to complete that work. Very professional and informative.

They did a great job. They were very thorough, were on time for all appointments, worked in a timely manner. And they did a great job cleaning the area when they were done. We would not hesitate to call them in the future.

I have used him more than once. It worked out well, because I had him come back. It has not blown yet, so I guess it is fine. He seemed like a nice enough guy and knew what he was doing. He impressed me enough to have him come back and do some other things around the house. When I had him put that in, I had a new garage door put in which was not electrical at the time and he told me that it was not put installed correctly and he fixed that. They came out with in a reasonable amount of time. I will use him again.

It went very well, he was on time and he did what he said he was going to do. There was a misunderstanding at first but everything got striated out and everything is great.

Once they completed the thorough assessment they identified the problem and fixed it timely and thoroughly. They updates us constnatly throughout their assessment to keep us informed of their progress.They put everything back in it's place and left no mess behind. They even re-installed covers, switches and a light fixture that were left apart from the previous electrician. Cannot speak highly enough about their skills and professionalism.

The experience was great. They provided good service, did a great job and were responsive. He is very good.

We had a great experience with Renaissance Electric. Erik was very professional. He sent an email confirmation after we set a date to replace our old ceiling fan; he then followed up the day before the installation with a phone call reminder. He also called the day of installation because he was ahead of schedule and he wanted to know if it was convenient to come earlier, it was, and so he was about a hour early. Erik was polite, professional, quick and efficient. We will definitely us this company again.

I have used Renaissance Electric in the past so when I needed an outlet updated I called Erik. As usual, Erik was wonderful. Called to let me know that he could come earlier than we discussed, showed up promptly, and had the job finished in a short amount of time. I will always use Renaissance Electric for any work that I need done and recommend them to all my friends and relatives.

It went great, not only was Erik prompt and on time, he was very professional. He also let me know 30 minutes prior to arrival that he was on his way, a skill that I wished a lot more people would learn. He checked the electrical box to make sure that everything looked good to change the plugs out. It took Erik about 45 minutes and after that he also gave me a price quote on putting outlets and lights in my garage. Overall top notch, glad I checked them out. Thanks again Erik!

working through the details and installation

I called them for an issue with no electricity going to the living room. i had to call twice because no one called back starting on 06/06/2013. I received a call back on 06/07/2013 promising to give me a call back the next day he was going to come that weekend and quoted me a lot of money per hour to come but at that time i just wanted someone to at least come out and was willing to pay.....I'm still waiting for that call back and it is June 21st. I should be happy it wasn't an emergency. i am very disappointed after reading mainly good reviews.

They made the initial phone call. I sent them pictures and I haven't heard from them since. I feel like they should have contacted me back but they haven't. I see that they are still offering deals but they haven't fulfilled mines yet. Not receiving a phone call to say that they are busy or there is a delay is what makes me very unhappy so far with their service. I would greatly appreciate a phone call back. *They had given me a phone call back almost immediately after the original post of this and will be coming back in a few days. He had problems with his secratary passing away and he was not aware of the other calls being delayed. I am going to honor him and I feel that he will come to the home and inspect what needs to be done.

Erik was fantastic! I am a divorcing Mom of two young children. I can't even begin to explain the number of times I've had outrageously high quotes and condescending little lady attitudes I have received since I purchased this house. He was prompt, courteous and finished the job quickly. His quote was actually lowest, he was flexible with scheduling and I appreciated that he was able to provide a quote using digital pictures I e-mailed. I know that if I need an electrician in the future I will definitely contact Renaissance Electric.

I had problems in my kitchen with not being able to run my microwave and toaster oven at the same time. The breaker would shut off every time. As I had nowhere else to move either appliance I thought I would need a new outlet. I called Erik and he scheduled an appointment for today- Father's Day. I asked if he was sure he wanted to come out on a Sunday- and Father's Day to boot, and he said it was no problem- that's a dedicated worker! I had explained what the problem was so he came prepared to do any type of work that might need done to correct the problem. After doing some checking as to what was running on the circuit, he checked the main electrical panel and found that the incorrect sized breaker was installed by a previous electrician that had worked here during a remodel. Thanks to his good investigative work I didn't need a new outlet after all. He was able to replace the old smaller breaker with the correct sized larger one in a flash and now I can safely run both my microwave and toaster oven at the same time with no problems and no popping breaker! Erik is great to work with- he went the extra mile to come up with a solution to my problem that fit my meager budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants a professional job done, and done well. I know any time I need anything electrical I'll be calling Erik.

We purchased the whole house electrical inspection special deal through Angie's list in the Fall of 2012. We wanted the inspection for safety reasons to help us prioritize what repairs or updates we should complete. I had to call the company several times before we could get it scheduled. We were given a myriad of reasons it could not be scheduled in a timely manner such as: family issues; conferencing in Las Vegas; backed up with work; etc. I was concerned that the certificate would expire, but they assured me it would not. Eric finally scheduled with us and spent about 30 minutes doing the walk-through inspection. He did not dismantle any of the outlets, and as far as I could tell the inspection was very superficial. He did not take any notes at all and when I mentioned this, he said he remembers it all in his head. He did recommend a major project to bring the electrical more up to date. I asked him why the inspection was not more thorough, he said it would cost us much more money to do a more thorough inspection. I thought that's what we were paying for. Even after all of this, we told Eric we'd like to schedule the project he recommended, which was over a $1,000.00 project. He said we needed to call his office to schedule. I said what do I tell them. He said just tell them you want to schedule the project I recommended during the inspection. I did what he asked and left the office a message. They called back and said they could not help me. That ended our relationship with this company. We feel as if we have to start all over, and the money we spent on this inspection was money wasted.

Eric before coming to my home discussed various options I might want to consider. Once decided on he arrived as scheduled and worked with out break to remove and install all new components. My location may be a little far from his normal service area. If you use his service all I can say is stand back he will not let the dust settle.

The owner provided the service. His work was excellent. After finishing the work that we had contracted for, he walked through the house with me and advised me on some minor electrical repairs that I intended to complete myself.

We highly recommend Eric and look forward to him doing future work for us.

Overall my experience with Erik Lowry was a good one. As I stated before, I now have peace of mind with the new panels installed. The ones I had were old. I did not have any empty places on the old panel, now I have some in case I need to add something.

The original request was to put in de icing cables but upon his looking around at the circuit breaker he found that the old one was corroded from water damage. Upon taking down the old panel he found a leak of which he patched up for us. The new circuit breaker has been installed. We are waiting for him to come back to put in the de icing cables. Everything thus far has been excellent and he really saved us from a major headache.

Everything went fine. They did come out on Saturday, which I appreciated.

Everything was done promptly and easily by the owner, Erik Lowery - from the first phone call to the actual project was hassle free. Erik showed up on time, and finished even quicker than expected, so being without electric service while the work was done on a chilly day, wasn't an inconvenience at all. He left the work area neat, so no cleanup was needed. He explained any and every question ... patiently I might add! He also took the time to give us estimates on other electrical work we were contemplating and being pleasantly surprised at the pricing, we have opted for a few more jobs we have wanted done on this house, at a future date. So thank you to Angies List for introducing us to Renaissance Electric!

We had a bit of a rocky start due to the original appointment not being noted properly, and they ended up being a no show. After I called them to find out what had happened, they apologized for the error, and scheduled me in very quickly to be seen again. The second appointment went MUCH better! The electrician arrived as scheduled, evaluated the problem, and fixed what he could at that time. I had already spoken with the owner prior to the appointment. It was decided that the MAJOR bulk of the work would be done during the remodellinng process.
