Jon's work and dedication is truly unmatched! I contacted many radon experts once I discovered our newly purchased home was high on radon. Jon took the time to walk me through the process via phone, providing all the right details and info. He put in a system but for months, we couldn't get the radon to come down (it is a fairly complex house). Jon did not relent. He came back, free of charge, to address the problem several of times until we got the radon under control! He does the work himself and is pretty busy, so just keep that in mind. I cannot recommend him enough. I will never use another radon company so long as I am in Pittsburgh.

The job was done in a timely manner... He doesn't take online payments. Wouldn't pick up his phone to take credit cards. Gave a lot of attitude. I called him on 6 different occasions to pay, and when I told him it's absurd that he can't answer his phone, his email reply was: It is absurd, you could have just placed a check in the mail weeks ago (and that would have taken you minutes!

The service provided was Excellent! The radon level is now safe!! Joh and his team agreed to instal the system on one of the coldest days of the year in early Jan because I was worried and didn't want to wait for better weather. They were punctual, professional and personable. Joh helped pick the location for the unit so that it would be functional but also uninstrusive in the basement and on the outside of the house. Except for the soft whirring sound you would never know the system was there. It blends in so well on the outside that it just looks like another drain spout. I couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to lower the radon in their house to a safe level.

Very well.. Of three companies that came to bid, this was the only one that identified that the builder had installed a radon pipe, and all that was needed was a fan.

It was the first time we had used them. I had numerous companies try to figure out where the radon was coming from. He approached it from a different way and was able to get our levels down. He went through lots and lots of steps and spent a lot of time on finding the issue.

I had obtained four estimates for the system. Jon from Radon X was the most professional, reasonable, and fair of all the contractors. There were no attached clauses to validate the system warranty and no hidden costs in the estimate. Jon arrived on time, installed the system. He did a tremendous job. He is very knowledgable about the whole process and will work with you to make sure you are happy. I could have gone with the lowest estimate but did not like the language in their contract. The next higher bid required yearly monitoring of the system and you had to purchase the kit from them. Then other bid was $150 higher than Radon X. I chose Jon because he provided what he promised at a fair price with no added incidentals. I really appreciated his honesty. I would recommend Radon X to anyone looking to have a system installed. I give you my word, won't be sorry!
