+ -1 moreWe were not satisfied with the work they did for us. Their work was slow and careless resulting in mistakes that will be expensive to correct. They never provided the drawings they had promised (except for a sloppy sketch on the back of an envelope), and as they began their carpentry work the neighbors complained to me about the unattractive design. When I offered to hire an architect the Pro Style owner said he thought that would be waste of time and money. Worst of all, the wall they had built was not properly reinforced, despite Pro Style's owner's insistence that it had been sufficiently reinforced and would meet all code requirements. We have already more than paid for the masonry portion of the project, and spent nearly $10,000 of our own money to complete and/or correct the masonry problems they caused, and haul away their debris. Then we will need to pay for the carpentry work. We have asked Pro Style to return $8,000 of our money but have not heard from them in 3 months.
Description of Work: We hired Pro Style in May 2007 to demolish and remove our old garage, and construct a new one in the same location. Because of the steep slope of our property, the garage (located in an alley) serves as a retaining wall for the back yard. Over the years the old garage wall had bowed inward, causing the garage roof to collapse. We wanted a storage and work space at the back yard level, so we asked Pro Style to add that feature. The contract we signed was for them to do the above work, for a total price of approx $21,000. For the reasons cited below, we asked them to discontinue their work in September 2007, at which time they had not yet completed the masonry work, but had begun some carpentry work (which had to be later removed). We have paid them a total of approx $13,000 to date. We have asked them to return $8,000 of that money to help cover the cost of correcting and completing the work they began.

+ -1 moreI found out about this company from my neighbor when I saw them fixing their house. They gave me an estimate and theirs was cheaper than other company's I checked into. This company was so nice, they let me know what was getting done and they even left me a receipt.
Description of Work: They replaced half of the shingles on my medium sized garage.

+ -1 moreI never knew who was going to show up, when they were going to show up, or how many workers would actually show up, to do the work. The work ended up taking a lot longer, than expected, as well.
Description of Work: They replaced the roof on one of my homes.
