When making my appointment, I was given the window of 12 PM - 5 PM for a technician to arrive. Joe P. came at exactly 12 PM on the specified day. There was a bit of a conflict on the invoice he brought over that was resolved easily. I was quoted the price of $99 when making the appointment not the $189 on the invoice. Joe P. was very courteous, professional, and thorough. We even had a few laughs when comparing the breed dogs we own- Weimaraners! His dog was just as goofy as mine which is one of their traits. When Joe left, he made sure that my property was free of dirt and debris from cleaning the gutters. So, hats off to Joe and the company he represents, PJ Fitzpatrick. Although the project says gutter "repair," it was actually for a cleaning. Cleaning wasn't one of the options from which to choose.

P.J. Fitzpatrick's pricing is very high - even their "diagnostic fee". No such thing as a free or reasonably priced estimate. I provided details, in advance, of what was needed for my repair. The technician was not prepared and wanted to charge nearly $500 for simple trim work. He justified the cost due to having to go back to get the flashing needed. There were a few unrelated items that he pointed out needed attention. As much as I appreciate the information, the criticality was exaggerated and the price again was very high. $250 to replace one cowl gasket, plus $250 to replace shingles around that same cowl gasket that were damaged during replacement - and I supplied the shingles. Mind you, the technician was courteous and professional. The same for the scheduler. That allowed the customer service rating to be raised to two stars. Their failure to communicate internally and also respond to customer e-mail doesn't allow any higher scoring.

Erich N was very friendly and courteous explaining all the work going on. Offered information on gutter guards which will likely be a project in the spring. Cleaning gutters was difficult as roof covered with snow and gutters filled with ice and snow. Erich cleaned up debris from gutters after completing work.

The technician that made the repairs was very professional. He arrived at our home on time and and carefully investigated the possible sources of the roof leak. Once the likely cause was found he proceeded with the repair.

Peter was excellent, and did do some work closing some gaps to keep out birds. However, the estimate for the full soffit repair job could not be guaranteed/warrantied by PJ Fitzpatrick so we decided not to do it. Peter suggested that we get a free estimate for full gutter and soffit replacement but we declined.
