Pivirotto Painting And Remodeling

Description of Work: Company cleaned mildew off the wood trim, chalked, primed and painted. Everything looked great. A few months later, while doing some other things around the house, I discovered damage to the soffit above the living room window. There was a hole approximately 3-4 inches long. The only way the soffit could be broken was by the ladder of the painter as he was pulling the ladder away from the house. Nothing else could do that since it is two floors about ground. I also discovered paint bubbling on one of the porch posts. I have contacted the painter and he has acknowledged both problems. He has insurance for the damage and would be out to redo the paint since there was a two year warranty. Since July 2010, I have spoken to him at least three times and his wife, who answered the business phone a couple of times. I have left messages on his voice mail. I have attempted to contact him through his web site and email. It is not October 2011 and still nothing. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. His PA license number is 045558 I am very disappointed with this company. He was recommended by a friend. Since then, I have told them of the problem. I would not recommend Pivirotto Painting and Remodeling. He does not follow up with his clients once he gets his payment. After thinking about this problem, I realized that if I had not watched him and his son-in-law/employee, they would have missed things. I had to have him go back and redo some painting and chalking. UPDATE 12/4/2011: The company contacted me after I filed a complaint with the BBB (they contact the business). He came over and did some touch up, but the paint bubbles again. He still has not fixed the soffit. He called before Thanksgiving and said he had the piece and was going to come by and fix it. Well, it's been 2 weeks since he called, Nothing yet. UPDATE 01/02/2012: Still no contact and the job is still not complete.
