Very thorough and told me exactly what was going on; very honest. I was afraid there was a crack in my boiler; no, that was fine. He was honest, and spent plenty of time reviewing everything.

Usually in the middle of the month they call and schedule when ever. The service comes with the annual maintenance. I have used them for years. I don't think they are excessive. I have never had an issue with them and I probably have been using them for 15 years. I worked with his son at one point. He worked where I worked, but it was his father's company. I expect to hear from them in probably a month.

job was performed just fine. we later needed a quote for central air, but another company came in $1,000 less for the job. discontinued work with Phillips simply because they insisted service agreement had to cover both furnace and AC. Their employee "Wes" was most thorough estimator we ever had. Very good at what he does.

They were very professional but the price was a little too high and we ended up getting another unit from somebody else that was about the same grade but wasn't as expensive. I liked Phillips. They are very prompt.

We have a very old air conditioner that stopped working recently. Jim Phillips was the second HVAC person that we had out for an estimate. The first person that came out took some measurements and gave us a price. When Jim came out, he did some detective work and figured out that the breaker had kicked of and just needed to be reset. He reset it, and our air conditioner worked!! I would have never thought to look at that and am extremely grateful that he took the time to figure it out. Based on this incident, I feel as though this company is honest and trustworthy. When the A/C does finally die, we will definitely call Phillips.

Their technician arrived, who was also one of the family members who owns the company, although his first name escapes me, and gave a thorough explanation as to why thermostatic valves actually won't work in our house, and walked me through the nature of our heating system, which as it turns out, isn't very good. He suggested a cheap alternative that I could do myself, which was basically our only option, and did not charge anything for the consultation. He was prompt, thorough, and gave great advice. I will definitely seek them out in the future for repairs/consultations.

I have had Phillips out to my home for the past 2 years. In 2015, I had them install AC/ heat mini split units on the first and 3rd floor of my home. I have boiler heat and needed an AC option as the summers were oppressive. I think these units are awesome. They install quickly with no damage to the interior. So we had them do the first phase in 2015 and loved these units! So we hired them again in 2016 to install units in 2nd floor and basement. The basement has a hyper heat option which is larger because there are no radiators down there. It is warm in the winter and cold in the summer. Living with no AC in the summers was horrible but now, my wife needs a blanket in July!!! His team is great and very respectful of the home. I have had a lot of contractors in my home over the last 10 years but Phillips was by far the best. At one point, my wife did not like the position of one of the condensers which was the exact spot I determined it should be. I called Jim hours after it was installed and asked him if we could move. His only concern was for my wife. He did not want her to be unhappy and made accommodations the following day to have his team move it where she wanted it. That's above and beyond!!! Overall, the units are easy to use, easy to maintain and are separately controlled so my kids, who do not like it too warm or cold, can adjust here rooms exactly how they want and I can blast the AC like I like. I did not need to "touch up" any paint or drywall anywhere. I was and still am very impressed with the install. I would not hesitate to refer Phillips to friends and family and have already. You are in good hands with Jim and his team. True professionals!!

The furnace (20+ years old) quit on Wednesday. I called Phillips early Thursday morning, Sherry returned my call promptly, and Ian was there within two hours. He took the furnace apart, evaluated the problem, explained the work, wrote up the estimate, and scheduled the furnace replacement for the next day. Shane and Austin were on time Friday morning, fully prepared to do the work. They were courteous and professional, and cleaned up afterwards. I had heat Friday afternoon!

John spent a lot of time with us during the estimate to explain the pros & cons of systems that were available--unlike other companies we had gotten estimates from. . Really helped us make a good decision. Installation went well-- on time, professional, completed work in a timely fashion, cleaned up. Communicated well during the process.

repair technician was on time for the appointment, appeared to check each unit thoroughly, and reported their conditions in detail. He explained the company yearly checking service which I signed up for. He was polite, and answered all questions knowledgably.

Had John Phillips come out and give an estimate. After we went over everything, he said he wanted to go back to the office and write it up. He said he would email us on a Monday with it. Monday came and went and he never sent it. Called him Wednesday to see what was going on, he said he would email estimate by end of day. We never heard from him again, went well the someone who else

I have been using them for a long time. Among the things they check on is carbon monoxide. They only charge $79 for the checkup. I was always satisfied with what they did. That is not a steep price. They are courteous and everything. I would recommend them to other people.

My husband is very particular about having work done in our home that he cannot do himself. We own a large 3 story home. Our 28 year old furnace and 18 year old AC unit needed to be replaced as our AC unit quit working twice during this hot summer. We decided to replace both items at the same time. I contacted Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning (PHAC). Jim Phillips came to our home and spent approx. 2 hours in consultation. Jim patiently explained the options available to us and asked what were hoping to purchase. We had 6 estimates for furnace and AC replacement. We chose PHAC because Jim was the ONLY one who inspected the air vents and duct work for signs of corrosion during this consultation. No other company did this. While PHAC was not the least expensive, they were not most expensive either. We chose PHAC to replace our aging equipment because it was the most THOROUGH. We also took advantage of PHAC's air duct cleaning service. We also had some duct work replaced. Jim, Kevin, Jr., Austin and Dave were all hard workers. Very professional. At the end of the day, they cleaned up. They were very respectful of our property. They showed up each day when they said they would. This was money well spent for air duct cleaning, some duct work replaced, new furnace and AC unit. We are very pleased with the service from PHAC. We would recommend PHAC in a heartbeat. winter to check on boiler and heating system they discovered there was a problem given of carbon monoxide..I got the boiler and 3 days later at my request they came back to in stall it ,and that same day they but it in i my Angie's List magazine and there was a coupon for 200 off the company let me use it they even took care of additional problem that they located

Great. We purchased our A/C (& furnace) unit from Phillips several years ago. A/C suddenly stopped working during a 90 deg week. They came out the next day at a time convenient for me. Tech was highly professional, explained the problem, and fixed it. The problem was covered under warranty, so we were charged a $79 maintenance/check fee.
