Came on time, quickly made repairs/replacement

A crew of two from Pawlak's Plumbing arrived at my house on time on the date promised. The crew moved my washer and dryer to make room to work in the laundry room which contained the water leak in the ceiling. The crew started by removing dry wall in the laundry room ceiling around the area of a water leak and assessed the situation. The crew found a cracked drain pipe coming from the sinks and toilets from the upstairs bathrooms. The approach taken to fix the leak was to apply pipe sealant and a flexible, rubber fitting around the cracked drain pipe. This approach avoided a major job of removing most of the ceiling in the laundry room and replumbing a major portion of the drain pipes coming from the two upstairs bathrooms. The water to the house was turned off to allow other work to continue. After applying the rubber fitting around the cracked drain pipe, the same crew member replaced the hot and cold shutoff valves in the laundry room for the washing machine and attached two, new hot and cold water hoses for the washing machine. The other crew member worked in the garage and replaced the copper piping and two valves leading to a leaking hose bib which kept freezing in the cold winter months. After all the work was completed, the water was turned back on and the water in the upstairs bathrooms was turned on to check for leaks. Everything checked out OK and both crew members cleaned up the areas being worked. All three work projects were completed within 2 hours. The cost for all this work was about $400, exactly the amount I expected. Both crew members were very pleasant, professional, and expert plumbers. I definitely recommend this company to everyone and will use them again for my plumbing needs.

They come when they say they will. They are neat, they do what they say they will, and I have had no issues with the work. I would use them again and I have recommended them to friends.

I was ready for them and had ordered all the necessary parts for the faucet and showers brands I have. The whole replacement process took about 1 hour. Their work was professional and every thing was cleaned up before they left. I have used Pawlak in the past and have come to rely on their services.

Our downstairs toilet was slow to clear. "Plumbers friend" did not resolve this. Pawlak found a blockage in the trap, and was very thorough in verifying there were no other drain issues. They identified a product we were using that likely led to the blockage. Replaced the flap in a leaking upstairs toilet and recommended future flaps should advertise chlorine resistance. Performed a dye test to verify there were no other leaks. We've used them several times previously and have always been well satisfied with their work. Only issue I had this time was contacting them - and that's really my own issue as I never talk to computers or answering machines. The Pawlak website provides an e-mail contact and that worked well. Total cost was about what other "big name" services advertise - but without the hard sell for additional, expensive, unnecessary services. In addition, they looked at an issue we have with the T/P valve on our aging water heater and provided an estimate on options to resolve it. We are still deciding whether to proceed or replace.

Everything went smoothly. They were prompt and efficient and replaced the old faucet with a new one that we had bought.. Also they cleaned out a slow running drain in our upstairs bathroom.

Called the company to say I had a leak coming from a pipe in my basement if they could come out and investigate. They came the next day aroung 10 am and were done before 11 am. Removed toilet and needed to replace the wax ring. and installed new closet bolts. The leak has stopped. Did recommend to use a fan in the basement for a day or two to make sure I did not get any mold, which I did. Told me to watch the pipe and if anymore problems to call. To date everything is good. The only thing was when the two men came to the house they were ready to work, although I did not know what the cost would be, had to ask and was given an approximate cost. They do give free estimates but I was just happy it was not more..

The original estimate for time was 1 week. The job began on a Thursday, and was not fully finished until 12.5 days later. That was 12.5 days without a shower in our house! Everyday there was something else we needed to go out and purchase: light fixture-but the light fixture we purchased hung down too low-- so then a 2nd light fixture, outlet-but the outlet we purchased wasn't grounded--so then a 2nd outlet, trim for around the tile-- but we were told the wrong trim from the Lowe's employee. Everyday was something different, and it was never all at once. Throughout the course of 12 days we had to make at least four different trips to Lowe's. It would have been far more convenient if the information was given to us in the beginning and we could have had all of the correct necessary items that became our responsibility. Even today, after the job has officially ended, we had to rearrange schedules to be home so the subcontracted individual could come fix a hole that he put accidentally in our ceiling. However, we will be responsible for paying for paint and painting over the hole he made and then patched. I expressed my dissatisfaction via several phone conversations (where the response was "I'm sorry this has happened" as well as an email (which I never received a reply to). Although the bulk of the problems were not through the actual company, it was the result of an individual who they selected to subcontract the work out to. The appearance of the bathroom is fine as well as the working state, however the poor communication in regards to a proper timeline and the inconvenience of the entire project is ridiculous. I would not recommend this company.

We thought that the entire plumbing mechansim would need to be replaced, which would include a hole in the wall outside the shower. Justin determined that the best course of action at this time was to replace various parts of the faucets, but not the entire system. What I thought was going to be a big project and patching the wall, turned to be a 1 hour project that was handled very well. The mechanism no longer leaks and is working very well.

Great! His estimate on the phone was spot on to what we paid and he came out and did the work a week after I talked to him.

They were recommended by a friend. The last two items that they did for us was rather disappointing in both quality and in responding to my complaint. I had hired them to install a new commode in our master bathroom which is fairly a simple job for a master plumber. When they were done with the job I went around and was checking on their work to make sure they clean up and everything because I used to work in construction myself; I found pieces of porcelain that were lying on the floor that I scratched my knees on. It was while porcelain toilet. When I called the owner Mr. Tim Pawlak he informed me that he would let the guys know. There was no apology and nothing other than that. I was concerned that if my wife had walked in there with her bare feet I would have been a little more ticked off. They installed the toilet correctly and there were no leaks or anything.

It went fantastic the guy was running alitle late but he caled twicr to let us know he was on his way . We tried to tip him but he would not accept it he said just. And he cleaned up well and took the other heater away. he was very polite and he wore foot covers so that he woulod not scuff up the floor. We called a couple of other plumbers but p****** had the best price. He worked with us becaause we were going out of town

Justin was punctual and after quickly assessing the situation got straight to work without missing a beat. After he was done he tested to ensure everything was working and caulked neatly.

I needed to have a dye test performed at my home in order to fulfill a requirement for refinancing my mortgage. I contacted Pawlak Plumbing and made an appointment. Tim showed up at my house right on time and completed the test as requested. My house passed the test and I was able to proceed with the refinancing process.

It didn't take him long at all since he really knew what he was doing. The plumber was very nice. I am very satisfied with their work.

Call was returned promptly, work was completed as per estimate. They arrived on time and completed the job without any problems. I would use them again.

Contacted Mr. Pawlak after reading Angies List reviews. Tim came to review our needs day after I called. He gave us a bid which we accepted. Work was done as scheduled and agreed. Very neat work.

Not much to tell. Service Person was highly professional and friendly and quick. Just great all around!

Plumber was prompt and arrived on time for both estimate and repair. All time estimates were accurate and the work was done quickly. Only gripe would be that work could've been performed a little more neatly with drop clothes etc... Would use again and recommend to friends.

I was out of town, but the wife called Pawlak and I couldn't be happier with the service. They came when they said they would. They were very nice and professional. They fixed the problem and took steps to both prevent the problem from recurring and explained it clearly to my wife. They even shoveled the sidewalk! I haven't yet received the bill, but they were only there for an hour, so I am guessing it won't be too bad. I just wanted to get a review written before I forget.
