Description of Work: Tried to unclog a frozen outside drain. Wasn't able to get the snake all the way down TO unclog. As of today the ice melted and now it's draining.

Description of Work: Pleasant, quality of work was good as was the price. The way to contact the business was through a landline and their response time for a return call left something to be desired. They would benefit greatly by using a cell phone as their main way of contact.

Description of Work: Fixed leaking external spigot. I use them whenever I have plumbing problems.

Description of Work: Cleaned out sewer/drain. Finished in 30 minutes. Arrived on time. No pressure to purchase other services. Took time to explain problem and how to ensure it doesn't happen in the future.

Description of Work: Pawlack Plumbing is the best! Mr. Pawlack himself answers the phone. This is a family owned business. A pipe broke in our garage in subzero temperature. This was happening all over Pittsburgh, so we knew we were lucky to get help. We turned off the water, and Pawlack got someone to our our place early the next day, which was just fine, given how busy everyone was that week. A full & complete repair at reasonable cost. Very professional. I've relied on these folks before; they also helped us last year with installing a specialty bathroom faucet. Great service at reasonable cost. And friendly! For big projects or small, I wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

Description of Work: I had a pipe burst under my kitchen sink. They were very nice when I called and scheduled an appointment that was convenient for me. It took the 2 men about 20 minutes to completely fix the pipe. They billed me rather than take a check that day. I thought the price was a bit high.

Description of Work: Two nice gentlemen slaked my sewer pipe and did a wonderful job. They even cleaned up my cedar after they did the job.

Description of Work: This company is a joke. Would not give any detail of hourly charge over the phone, and would only give a cost after charging for a quote. The project ended up costing $300 from a registered plumber, and Pawlak said it would be at least $1,200 or more.

Description of Work: We noticed that our water heater was leaking on Saturday. I left a message on Pawlak Plumbing's voicemail. Justin returned my call on Monday and said, due to their heavy schedule, he could come no sooner than the next day. This was fine with us. Justin installed the new waterheater and also cleaned the sewer in the basement because he believed that water under the tile was likely due to a clogged sewer.

Description of Work: Called company for overflowing toilet, water in basement and garage. Took Day and 1/2 to call back, said he was busy. Came to house following week, snaked drained. 2 men came, one admitted to not being licensed plummer. Left basement messy. After snaking the drain, they laughed and basically said to start digging. Was suppose to call the next day for estimate. Never called, went with another reputable plummer. Received bill week later for snaking the drain which cost 250.00. Sent coupon in for Angies list for 15.00 off first service.

Description of Work: This was the second time I called Pawlak, but this time for a different problem. As was the case again, they performed an excellent service at a reasonable price. I will continue to call Pawlak Plumbing when the need arises.

Description of Work: Our shower was not running hot water consistently. They came very quickly (within 24 hours) and fixed the problem.

Description of Work: Our pipe in the powder room sink was cracked. They were able to attach a new piece of piping to the old one without replacing the whole pipe which would have involved replacing tile. They tried to find the most economic and least intrusive solution. I appreciated that mind set. I will use this company again.

Description of Work: Replaced 40G hot water heater and hauled away old tank. Also installed expansion tank, and performed minor plumbing repair.

Description of Work: Two guys came, and they told us we needed to have the line ''camreraed'', and after doing that, they told us that they could not give us an estimate. Only the owner does that, and they wanted 120.00 for camera-ing the line. It's been over a week, and there is no estimate. The worker they sent knew the problem and should have been prepared to give an estimate. It was a waste our time, and we clearly explained our needs from the onset. They were 2.5 hours late for the appointment.

Description of Work: Opened basement drain as well as at least 10 outside drains. Replaced portions of pipe to allow better access in future.

Description of Work: For first call, he replaced valve and faucet in laundry room. Had him come out again to look for a leak inside the bathroom wall which was not there; it was found to be more of a construction problem than a plumbing problem. Excellent, cutting-edge equipment, professional staff, quick to respond to phone message. We found the prices slightly higher than some other plumbers, but would certainly use them again.
