PAWLAK PLUMBING INC

This is the first time we have used this company and we are so glad to have found them. They sent two employees, one who had the expertise was in the furnace side and the other in bathroom/kitchen plumbing. We had both of our furnaces checked and we feel that this individual was much more thorough than other companies that we have had out here in previous years. The other individual fixed a leak in our toilet which was supposedly repaired by another company. We felt that the price was so much better than the company we used in the past where we felt "taken" and they took the Angie's List discount.

Excellent work. Two employees showed up and worked together to get everything done within an hour. And the price was a little less than they quoted me over the phone. No question who I will call next time.

They arrived on the dot at the promised time. Both gentlemen were very polite and friendly. I had initially misdiagnosed the problem as a leaking pipe in the wall near my upstairs toilet due to water leaking through the floor and onto my kitchen ceiling drywall. Shortly before they arrived I realized there was a slow leak in the back of the toilet. In my inspection, I somehow made the leak much worse and water started gushing out of the toilet tank. They arrived right as this occurred and quickly shut off the water and water heater. I was surprised that two people were sent but assumed that my report of a leak behind the wall might require two plumbers. At any rate, they quickly fixed the leak and rebuilt the toilet with new inner parts. I mentioned that my downstairs toilet would continually run and the other guy worked on that one and fixed it as well. I was pleased with Pawlak from my initial phone call to schedule the work through their prompt arrival and friendly and helpful demeanor. I am so bad with plumbing and hate dealing with these problems, but they made this a non-event and I have definitely decided that Pawlak will be called for any plumbing that I need in the future.

I e-mailed Pawlak from Angie's List web site requesting that they contact me because I have a badly stopped up bathtub drain. I have now given them a full three business days, and no one has called me or e-mailed me back. Disappointing, because the majority of their reviews are so positive.

I was pleased with the professionalism and diligence of the workers. I would definitely reocommend this company.

It went well. Work took about a half hour . There was a two man crew when one man could have done it alone. However I was pleased with their work and the clean-up. Final cost was in line with the original estimate.

I was very pleased. They came on time and were very friendly and capable. They are going to be my plumber now, I’ve tried a number of plumbers and these guys are it.

I have used them a couple of times. They were just fine and I have been very happy with them.

they did a good job but they took too long to finish and they kept adding to the original estimate of $8,000. The plumbers in general are fast, but the contractor they work with is very slow. Tim is hard to find, and rarely returns calls.

They sent two plumbers who came right on time. They were quick, clean and efficient. When they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with the results.

Two other plumbers wanted to tear out the wall or would not guarantee they could fix it (as there was no access to the pipe) Would have required 1) $800 with no guarantee; or 2) remodeling the bathroom! Pawlak took the time to change the spout, make the repair and solve the problem.

They are very receptive when you call them. There is always somebody to answer the phone. They schedule you right away and are there on time. They do a very good job.

The technicians were prompt and completed the work in an hour (including a run to the local plumbing supply store to replace a part not included with the toilet I purchased separately at Lowe's). The price they quoted on the toilet was exactly what I paid at Lowe's, so if I had to do it again, I'd just buy direct from them.

I called Pawlak and they came out within hours; the worker was fast, efficient, and effectively cleared the drain and informed us how to prevent clogs in the future. No surprises, no down sides.

The service was quite straightforward and the service tech explained what he did -- he didn't give me an estimate but simply went about fixing the clog (that I had diagnosed). He completed the work in about 10 minutes, including trips to the truck for equipment. Clean up was thorough. All told, he was in and out in about 20 minutes.

He reported on time. Explained what needed to be done and why. Went to work and completed in good time.

Everything went well. Very happy with the service.

Mark was outstanding. He let me know what he was doing the whole time. His work was gorgeous. Everytime I use this company I am knocked out. They go above and beyond. They deserve all the accolades, and his is the third time I have used them.

They came out the same day I called and were courteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves, and I was able to use a Angie's List coupon because I was a first time customers.

Sink was unclogged in about 2.5 hours. I was disappointed, however, that when the plumber realized he had to go through the wall, he told me that he had to go back to the shop to get the SawzAll to open the wall. I think opening walls for access to pipes is pretty standard in the plumbing world, so why isn't the SawzAll on the truck? This delayed the process by about 45 minutes and the plumber told me when he left that I might be charged for the time to get the Sawzall. He told me to call the office in the morning and they might take the time off the bill. I asked him to make the request for me on my behalf. Don't know if if the request was made or not. My bill did not mention it and the plumber never closed the loop with me on that one. I didn't call the office - I was just glad to have the sink unclogged and that damage to the wall was behind the cabinet under the sink where it can't be seen and not through the tile out in the open.

It went well. They came quickly, installed the new water heater plus expansion tank and left. No worries. Will call them again when I need more work.

Our experience with Pawlak was great and would definitely recommend him and would use him again.

It was messier than I thought, it was going to be. I was trying to fix it and handed it over to him. It was a tough job and he cleaned up the mess before he left. He is very friendly, capable and knows what he is doing.
