The pair of plumbers who came out to clear the drain worked quickly, were courteous and clearly explained their diagnosis that the french drain would need re-dug. They said if I was interested to call the main number to discuss. I did that day. I did not get a call back. I called again and was told that an "estimator" would come out Wed. 11/21 and I did not have to be there and an estimate would be left. I did not receive an estimate. I subsequently called twice after that and never got a return call. This is extremely unprofessional and offensively rude. A simple courtesy call that they would not be interested in the job would have allowed me to move on quicker.

I have had them to the house a couple times, both were for relatively minor jobs, but I was pleased both times. They were very responsive to my calls, punctual, pleasant, and the work done was good. My only minor complaint would be no evening or weekend hours. I would call them again.

The team was very professional and quick about completing the job. In addition, they went above and beyond when they came to my house during a snow storm. I would highly recommend them.

I am never disappointed with this company. They have provided excellent work at a fair price time and time again. I called on a Friday and they couldn't come out until Monday (not a problem since we still had hot water, but the tank was leaking a small amount). Monday was New Year's Eve, but they showed up at 8:30am as promised. Craftsman was on time, professional, and courteous. He worked quickly to get the job done, but didn't compromise the quality of work. He drained, removed, and installed new Rheem 40 Gallon hot water heater (6 year warranty). He also installed a new shutoff valve since the old one was dripping. Demonstrated how to light the pilot and set the water temperature. Everything about the job was efficient and professional. I researched costs online and expected to pay about as much as charged. Pawlak Plumbing always seems to go above and beyond to be sure the customer is satisfied. I also like their billing policy - no money on the day the work is performed. They send a bill with a due date. Would definitely use this company again for future plumbing needs.

I came home from vacation and found that my commode was leaking each time you flushed it. I called them and told them what was going on and said that the commode was old so I thought it was best to replace it. They never asked me any questions on the phone regarding what type of commode I wanted or if there was a certain type that I wanted and never gave me a choice of how much I wanted to spend. They set up the appointment pretty quickly and when the installer arrived he never said anything about what if anything I had discussed with the person on the phone. I later saw the same commode at Lowes/ Home Depot much cheaper. The toilet seat is cheap and doesn't even stay in place I have to constantly adjust the connections. If I ever used them again it wouldn't be without numerous questions.

They came to give us a quote on getting an outside hose installed and were able to perform the work the next day. THey were quick and affordable.

The installation was great and the price was fair. Since this was for a rental property, I asked them to send the bill to my house. Instead, they send the bill to the rental property, so I didn't see it for a while. Other than that, I didn't have any problems with them.

I have Tim's service before, so I knew I was getting quality work done at a reasonable price. I had bought new faucet parts and wanted them installed by a pro. As always, they did a great job

Pawlak Plumbing promptly responded to a request to stop a leak from a busted bathroom pipe. The two workmen quickly spotted the defective joint and stopped the leak.

EXCELLENT!! My overall experience was wonderful from start to finish. I was having my bathtub refinished (by another company with Angie's list deal) and was informed I needed to have leak repaired prior or tub shut off valves installed. Pawlak plumbing was able to schedule a plumber appt the same week. Scheduler very nice and helpful. Justin arrived at my home prompt and very pleasant. He was very courteous and wore boot covers, so not to track my floors. He immediately began the work and informed me that to "totally" resolve the leak, I would need to have fixtures replaced. He replaced washers as a temporary fix and also installed valves. In speaking with Justin, I mentioned the handyman was going to charge me $169.00 to remove and reinstall sink. Justin immediately stated he could remove it at no additional cost and would only take about 10 minutes. WOW...I was so grateful that he would offer. This was definitely "above & beyond" in my book!!! I will be scheduling the faucet replacement in the next week and Pawlak is definitely getting my business. I have also referred them to all of my family and friends. A honest, fair priced, professional plumber is hard to find, but Pawlak is A+. To Mr Pawlak: You have a "great" employee with Justin! He was so courteous and professional. He did a great job. I am very pleased with my overall experience.

Pawlak is by far the best plumber we have used in the South Hills: quality, professionalism, punctuality, trustworthiness. We intend to use them for all plumbing services. If it needs to be done, they do a great job. If it doesn't need done, they tell you.

We called Pawlak Plumbing primarily to check out a water stain on our main level powder room ceiling and to attend to several shower valve leaks and to replace a broken hose valve in our garage. Initially it was thought that the ceiling stain was being caused by a leaking wax ring from the upstairs toilet and the ring was replaced. During the work it was discovered that the toilet had been previously been seated on top of a utility knife and this appeared to be the culprit for the leak in the ring seal, but after several more weeks the ceiling stain in the powder room had not dried up and we knew there was a bigger problem. Pawlak returned and broke through the powder-room ceiling to discover that the upper portion of the cast iron waste line had corroded through and required replacement. Luckily for us the damaged section was contained entirely within the confines of the powder-room and only required removal of about 1/2 of the ceiling to repair. The work Pawlak performed was time consuming, overhead and in a confined space, but the workers were professional and remained mindful of the areas of the house not under repair. The post-work cleanup was very well done and the repair has been solid. For the amount of labor involved in the repair and the quality of the work performed, the cost was quite reasonable and we would not hesitate to call Pawlak for any future plumbing needs.

They were very prompt. They had to buy special units to fix the sink. They had to actively seek out these units, which I thought was very professional and great customer service. When the parts arrived, they came in and fixed the leak in about an hour and a half. They were courteous throughout the project.

Tim came out to give me an estimate and was really helpful. He said he would have a write up for me later that week for the different work that I was considering. He did send me that write up. I then responded with the work that I did want to go ahead with, which ended up being just one item - an install of a shutoff valve. After an email and repeated calls, he never got back to me. If he was unavailable to do the work, or it was too small of a job for him, he could have just let me know, so I could go find another plumber rather than wasting my time waiting for him to get back to me.

The workers were professional and prompt. Arrived on time and started work immediately. The one hose faucet was a little tricky, but it was installed very well. The other hose faucet leaked after installation - and after disagreeing with me for a few minutes, the workman finally saw it leaking and repaired it. The installation of the kitchen sink faucet went well. Workers generally cleaned up after themselves and were conscious of dirty shoes in the house. Overall, I was pleased with the work and I have used Pawlak Plumbing in the past. I always feel the price is fair for the quality of work performed. I plan to use Pawlak in the future for other plumbing needs.

I had been having a lot of trouble with flooding in my basement. Pawlak did a camera check of the pipes and found that everything was in suitable shape. He was able to clearly explain that it was actually a gutter problem that needed to be fixed. His cost for the camera inspection was substantially less than the previous one I had done.

Pawlak Plumbing seem to know what they are doing. With the amount of plumbing services available, I would use them again if they were competitive.

They did a great job. They were a little pricey, but the job was done well. They cleaned up and they were polite.

Two young men came in to do the job. They were there when they were supposed to be. They put the covers on their shoes. The repair was not completely fixed. My son’s ceiling and his bathroom down below came down and he ended up having to gut the whole bathroom. His daughter was a friend of mine. I am not sure if it was the problem that they created or the people that had originally had the house. It was awful. My son is been constantly having to redo everything in the house. I called and complained and they called me right back at my son’s house but he was in the grip of ripping out the whole bathroom because he wanted to redo it anyway. They did put a wax ring in the toilet and when we finally got the toilet out it was about the size of a quarter. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know if they did it wrong or what. They were absolutely professional. I would recommend them.

It went really well. They were very neat, and wore shoe coverings in the house. They went right to work and were very efficient. Their prices are reasonable for what they do.

They were fine and we did not face any problems with them. They were on time.

Two young gentelmen arrived at the house, idenified the issue and made repairs. They notice another leak that I had not seen and they included that repair as well. No problems at all.

Very well. I had been searching for this leak for years, It was an inconsistent one which was sometimes a minor and sometimes a major wetness of water into the kitchen. I traced the problem to rain water getting in through one of my roof vents. My roofer was unable to find the leak so that's why I next tried a plumber. I picked them because of other peoples comments on Angie's List regarding fixing leaks. They seemed like a good bet. I'm very pleased. No leaks since.

They put on their footies. They were very professional. They introduced themselves. They were not here very long and the work was beautiful. They left everything as well.
