Description of Work: I contacted Paul to help us clean & organize our garage. He answered promptly, we discussed rates and scheduled on my first phone call. He was punctual and immediately got to work in our garage. Organization is a collaborative effort - often there is a lot of emotion to discarding items with emotional attachment. With Paul's help and expertise my husband & I were able to remove several bags of items no longer used, some thrown away, others donated. With a very simple relocation of existing shelving it literally opened up the garage to make everything we needed readily available. We had tried multiple times to accomplish this same thing with no success. As I said, Paul's eye & experience made all the difference. In about 2 1/2 hours we had the garage emptied, swept out, shelves moved, and everything we needed now at our fingertips. We were so impressed! Now we can walk right into the garage to whatever it is we need without tripping or stepping over a disaster of items. I would definitely use Paul's services again. He was a great find!

Description of Work: Paul has helped my family simplify and organize our home. I first used his services when I had to pack up my kitchen before it was remodeled. Paul helped me look at what I had, decide what should be kept, what thrown away, and what given away. He packed (in boxes he brought, and in some that I provided) what was to be kept, and helped me store it out of the way during construction. He carted off items that were to be donated, and brought back receipts from the donation center. His gentle manner and persistent questions ("How often do you use this? How is the way you are doing this working out for you?") helped me see my life and my STUFF in a new way. After the kitchen project was done, we tackled the rest of the house, and it was in the organization of our everyday stuff that I began to see a new way of doing things. I've learned how to look at something and ask myself if it is useful, beautiful, or neither -- and, if the latter, out it goes. I don't buy as much now for several reasons -- because I know that I have no place for it, no use for it, or that, in fact, I already have one of those and I know where it is, thanks to Paul. I've also tried, with somewhat less success, to incorporate his lessons into my daily thought processes so that I don't end up in a mess again! Until I get it right, though, I'll have Paul come on a regular basis to keep me on the straight and narrow.
