 + -1 moreHe showed up on time, was a really nice guy but totally botched the issue. He claimed it was one thing so I called my masonry contractor, who I have used before and trust, and he said no way, he has been in the business for 30 years and that was not the problem at all. And what Patton said to do won't solve a thing. So now I have to call yet another company. Patton was a nice guy, until he stopped returning my emails.
Description of Work: I have cracks in the exterior of my home, I thought it was a foundation issue but I wanted a professional opinion. So I hired a professional engineer for a professional opinion.

 + -1 moreOur experience was superb. If ever the needs arises again, we will contact Patton Engineering. We would recommend to anyone for hands down expertise and well documented reporting.
Description of Work: My husband I were extremely impressed with the service. The structural engineer is a highly educated gentleman who has work on major projects, including many locally like Heinz Field and PPG Paints Area, as well as some major national projects such as the new Empire State Buildings. He does residential on the side as a way of sharing his knowledge and make some extra spending money to take his lovely wife out. If you use Patton Engineering, you're getting far more expertise than the average firm. Highly recommend!

 + -1 moreEdward came out to my house and did a through evaluation of my home and the foundation. He listened to my concerns and explained why he did not think there was a problem with the foundation. He had clear reasons as to why there were cracks in my walls and why that was not something to be concerned about. Prior to having this engineer come out I had had at least three other companies come out to evaluate the house. Each company had a different opinion about what needed done ranging from nothing to replacing my rear basement wall. I finally went to an engineer to get an unbiased opinion. Since he was not going to do any work on the house I trusted that what he told me would be honest. I would highly recommend this company if you are concerned about any foundation issues with your home.
