+ -1 moreContract language was very vague, which became problematic as work progressed. Workmanship was good, but accountability for "extras" was minimal to non-existent. Niklaus "walked" off the job before interior work was completed, claiming non-payment of extras that he refused to submit documentation for. He left job site while owners were out of country, leaving house open, w/o notice to police. He removed approximately $1,000 of uninstalled plumbing supplies from premises, which he later returned after police report was filed. Niklaus is holding 2 condenser units and humidifier, paid for; uninstalled at time of "walk." He attempted to claim as "extras" projects that had never been approved by owners as billable extras, or "extras" that were clearly included as part of the contract - i.e. delivery of tile, installation of cabinets, kitchen sinks and faucets.
Description of Work: Added a 3-car garage, new master bedroom suite, converted garage to study, and new kitchen.
