+ -1 moreNick never showed. We hired him in June of 2006 following his first visit with us to give us an estimate. My husband and I are often out of town on business, so we were flexible and in no big rush. Jen, the woman that answers the phone at this business, assured us that he would start by the first week of July. That turned into late July, then early August. Each time I spoke with her she was very congenial and friendly, she even picked up the paint samples I had left for her taped to my front door. But Nick and his crew never showed. We had set a date for them to come in September, and they just never came, and then they stopped answering my calls. To this day, I have not heard from them, not that I expect them to suddenly show up ready to do the job, but they are clearly avoiding us. I'm very unhappy with them, as I feel we were strung along all summer with the promise of "next week" never materializing.
Description of Work: We hired Nick to paint the exterior doors of our house, as well as the soffits and facia. We also needed some carpentry done on the door jamb and soffit, both which had wood rot. He said his father could do the carpentry work, and included that work in the quote he gave us.
