 + 1 moreHe asked for half of the cost of the project - we gave him $7,000. He never did the work. He was called three times and twice my husband went to his house - the second time Mr. Jenkins slammed the door in his face. He was given three chances to start the work - each time there would be a message on the phone with some excuse as to why he couldn't start the work. We won a judgment with the Magistrates Office on November 27, 2007. Mr. Jenkins filed for bankruptcy on November 21, 2007. There is a long list of creditors with judgments against him.
Description of Work: Terry Jenkins was hired to replace a retaining wall, concrete steps and walkway to our house, and a concrete driveway. ($14000)

 + 0 moreTerry returned call quickly and also gave an estimate quickly. He requested payment prior to performing work. However, he had to be contacted several of times just to cut grass. He never showed up without being reminded.
Description of Work: Performed grass cutting and landscaping duties.
