john was AMAZING. Punctual, kind, considerate, he fixed our heating and was super kind and helped us move our dresser that was blocking the heating access. Went above and beyond. SO NICE!!

John did a wonderful job was prompt professional pinpointed the problem right from the get go! I live in a modular home got an old 1996 coleman furnace where parts are hard to come by on such a short notice, but John had the part needed! John also provided troubleshooting problems to look out for. John advised I buy some carbon monoxide detectors to be on the safe side. Woke up on the coldest day of winter (so far) to find our furnace had stopped working overnight. called John at about 8:30 a.m., and he had a team of technicians at our home within about two hours. He even stopped out himself to check in, drop off some parts, and talk to me about my long-term needs for a new furnace and A/C unit. The team worked fast, and the charge for the work was even less than they estimated when they'd arrived. This is the second time we've called John's folks for heating or cooling service, and we'll absolutely use and recommend them again.

Would absolutely recommend John Mullen and his company. From the first time I called John he was very responsive and professional. I had called multiple other HVAC companies to install a vent through a brick chimney and were having trouble finding someone who would even come take a look to see if they could tackle the project. John didn't hesitate and came out and talked to us to find the right solution. Once we were ready for the job we were able to schedule him within about two weeks and he called the day of to see if they could come a bit earlier than planned. I truly appreciate the quick and professional communication throughout the whole process. The guys that came with him to do the work were also professional and they got the job done quickly. The price we paid was very reasonable for the length of time they spent and the difficult job of drilling out through brick.

I called John after another company had told me I needed a $5,000 new condenser because my compressor had gone bad. After a couple of hours troubleshooting the tech "Tim" went to town cleaning out the coils. They were filthy. The other company - who had been "servicing" this system for my elderly parents had never once cleaned the coils. After cleaning them twice, using some foaming chemical that breaks up dirt - he got the system up and running without overheating - as it had been. These guys REALLY took their time to fix my condenser instead of trying to privateer big bucks by selling me a new system. I will never call anyone else again. This is an honest professional.

If I could have given A+ I would have. John would have come over the day I called, but I had to leave for work. He came the next morning, took less than an hour, replaced my therostat (at my request), replaced the broken part, talked to me about my future needs and was pleasant and professional. His price was amazing!

Luckily, John was already in the neighborhood when I contacted him. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had my AC unit back in service very quickly. Will definitely be hanging on to John's number for any future work I need done!

We came home from an outing on a Sunday night and found our air conditioner not working. I found John Mullen on Angie's list and liked the reviews. I contacted John and he asked me about my schedule on Monday. He fit us in on Monday morning. I wasn't home but my wife was. She said that John was so nice that she assumed that he was a friend of mine. I told her that I never met him before. He fixed the air conditioner and I am relieved that it didn't cost us a ton and we avoided 85 degree heat with an air conditioner. I would use John again. He was dependable, came out with in 12 hours of being called, and my wife does not always comment on how nice someone is unless it is absolutely true. Thumbs up for John Mullen, I have just found a go to guy for everything!

The motor was not working correctly in the outside unit. They were quick at responding, had a decent price and quality work.

I called in the morning and got response immediately. Showed up on time and gave me a detailed diagnosis. Came back in the afternoon with ordered parts. Repair was done in an hour and quality was great. He also provides many helpful suggestions.

John stopped one day to quote us a price, we arranged for the work and a few days later our new furnace and AC units were installed. John's helper arrived promptly, removed our old furnace and AC unit and installed the new one along with a new air cleaner, new thermostat and all new piping. The job was competed professionally and in one day. And everything was cleaned up before he left. We did have one small issue with a leaky condensate drain pipe which was quickly remedied the same day we discovered it. I would recommend John Mullen Home Repair to anyone. The best part is that he is a local business and we were really pleased with to deal with someone local.

John installed dryer vent in our house. He is very professional and completed the project on time and Budget. He is very thorough and completed the Job to my satisfaction. He didnt charge me extra even though it took longer than originally planned.

John Mullen provided me with OUTSTANDING service when my A/C broke. I called John at 8:23 PM on a Friday night and asked him if he could help me. My home was already 78 degrees and rising with a dog and two small children. He was in his car going home from a long day's job and turned around to come to my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a simple blown capacitor. He replaced the part, told me how much it would probably be for a new A/C unit with and without a furnace if/when I would ever need one, but said it was not necessary right now, that my unit should run for a while longer even though it was old. Then, at 9 PM on a Friday night, after what I am sure was a long hot day for him, he took the time to show me how to clean my A/C unit with my garden hose to increase efficiency and decrease the chance of breakdown. He left my house, work completed all for only $90, at 9:08. Now that is outstanding. At no time did John try to sell me a new A/c unit or furnace, even though my units are both very old. He simply advised me of the possible cost if I wanted to do that. He went out of his way and well beyond normal business hours, to come and fix my problem for minimal cost. He was polite, clean, informative, and honest. And again, he took the extra 10 minutes at 9PM at night to advise me on routine maintenance, for free. The previous home owner had this unit serviced regularly by a different company. I initially called them and left a voice mail as they were closed. I am writing this review on Sunday afternoon and still have not heard from them. If not for John I could have been without A/C for 3 or more days. I am a critical person and do not believe in praising people just for doing their job. I am much more inclined to leave bad reviews for poor service, than good reviews for just providing the service you are paid to do. Please consider that when reading how much I am praising this man for going above and beyond. Hire him, you will not be sorry.

These guys were great. Owner called me back within 10 minutes of getting my phone message and had someone at my home within about half an hour. Technician was thorough and helped us to understand not only what's going on with our old A/C unit but also our options to replace when/if we need to. Didn't pressure us at all to go that direction and gave us solid advice to try to squeeze another year or more out of the equipment we've got. When the time comes to replace our A/C unit and furnace, we'll definitely call these guys.

I feared needing an entire new furnace, but tech replaced capacitor quickly and furnace worked all winter without problems. No additional cost for coming on a Saturday. Only regret was not calling Friday evening when the problem started. Called Saturday morning and problem solved by early afternoon.

John and his team were extremely nice to work with. I needed an new unit and they negotiated for me with the manufacturer to allow my warranty to cover it, saving me a ton of money. He was also very responsive with setting up the appointment and they arrived right on time. I highly recommend!!

John was prompt and courteous. The inspector had turned up the thermostat and the furnace did not kick on, so he had pronounced it broken. John came in, flipped some switches, and had it running within 15 minutes. He gave us a very reasonable estimate for the cost of what needed to be fixed for this Winter, as well as what costs to expect moving forward and maximizing the life of our furnace. All-in-all he was a great help! In getting a written estimate for the parts, we had to check-in with him once but even then he was incredibly helpful and quick. Thanks!
