Scheduled a shop-at-home appointment through their website for July 5. Salesman Bill called to confirm appointment and arrived promptly. Asked numerous questions about expectations and preferences, and provided guidance and samples. We made our selection and scheduled the install. Molyneaux called a few days before to confirm the date and then called the on morning of the install to give us an arrival time. Installer arrived promptly and informed us that his helper would be late, and then he started moving the furniture and preparing the site by himself! Helper arrived and they worked diligently for several hours completing the job. Afterwards they vacuumed and replaced the furniture. We were most impressed by the following: The salesman was very attentive to our comments and understood what we were looking for. The company did everything when they said it would be done. The installer did not wait for his helper but started working immediately. The installers were very careful with our furniture and the hardwood floor in the entryway of the house. There are two minor details that deserve comment as follows: It would be nice to know the day before if they will be coming AM or PM to give some time to move lamps etc. We did not receive detailed information/warranty papers about our specific carpet - I called and they will send them to me, but it would be better to receive them on completion of the installation. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely use them in the future and will refer them to anyone we know who needs carpet.

Oursalesperson, Harry Fasching, was very thorough and helped us find just what we wanted. We will go back to Harry for other jobs we have in our house, including carpeting on both floors. The installer, Dave, was very professional and detailed. We are very, very pleased with the result.

I have absolutely no complaints and only compliments of every facet of their service. We chose a gorgeous premium carpet that fits the areas perfectly. The installers were on time, efficient,, pleasant and removed every bit of leftover material. The place looks beautiful!

The whole process was smooth and very easy. The installers were very professional and accommodating to our requests. They worked efficiently and did a great job. The finished product looks very good.

They were very helpful. The sales guy named Jason was really good, he knew his product, and he showed us a lot of different options. We told him that we had dogs, so it would have to be able to stand up to them. He recommended the one that he thought would be the best and it is actually a very nice looking floor. They came, they were quick, and did a really good job. They were really good. There were a couple of times that we tried to get a hold of them and could not. I think that we have another section for them to do down the road here.

overall, the entire process went wonderfully. we chose molyneaux originally because our family members had such a good experience with them when doing their flooring. Candace, the woman who guided us through the entire process was great. she was extremely knowledgable helpful when choosing our carpeting. she was easy to get a hold of and always returned calls in a timely manner. the installers were punctual diligent. they were very courteous did a beautiful job laying our carpeting. we will definitely use molyneaux again.

The sales process was very smooth and we were very happy after our salesman left our house and we had decided on our carpet. We put 50% down to order the carpet with the rest being due once the carpet was installed. The day of installation, the installers showed up about 30 minutes early. I was not home, because I was dropping my son off at school, but they called and I told them I would be home within 10 minutes, which I was. When I got there, I opened the door for them and they just rushed past me and straight up the stairs without saying hello or introducing themselves. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and rude but let it slide. I offered them drinks and told them to let me know if they needed anything. They looked around at all the rooms to get an idea of the space they were working with. Let me just say that my husband and I had removed every single thing from all of the rooms except for the beds which we were told that Molyneaux would be doing. We did more than we were asked to do. When the head installer got to my youngest son's room, he pitched an absolute fit when he saw his bed, which was a twin bed with a clubhouse on top. It needed to be disassembled and he was extremely upset that the salesman had not told him about it. The salesman had seen and taken note of all of the furniture in our house that needed to be moved. Then he went to my other son's room and pitched another wall-eyed fit because that bed was a queen captain's bed with drawers underneath that also had to be disassembled. Again...remember that we were told that Molyneaux would be doing all of this and that this was included in the hefty price we were paying for the carpet. I asked the installer if he needed anything, and he said he needed a ratchet set, so I got my husband's set for him and told him if he needed anything to please let me know. He was very mad, but I just left them to themselves to let them cool off. I apologized to them in an understanding way, kinda like 'I'm so sorry about this bed and that no one told you.' I didn't know what else to do. I went downstairs to do some work. Within minutes, I heard my furniture being yanked apart and thrown. The installers were upstairs cursing and yelling at the top of their lungs about how they shouldn't have to do that work, etc. The screaming cursing fits lasted about 10 minutes before I literally could not stand it anymore. They were very intentionally doing it so they could make sure I could hear how mad they were. They were upset with ME over something I had no control of, and something I had specifically paid for. They wanted me to know how put out they were. I finally went upstairs and told them they needed to leave my house. They acted shocked, and I told them, no way was I going to let them stay in my house behaving that way, disrespecting my home, my furniture and myself. They left and I called the Molyneaux store. The manager was flabbergasted and gave me the number for Mr. Molyneaux, whom I called immediately. He apologized and said he would get to the bottom of it. By this time I didn't want any Molyneaux employee in my home and I just wanted to call the whole thing off, but we had paid them $3000 already, and I didn't want the headache of trying to get our money back for a special order. Eventually they did send another crew out who was on their absolute best behavior, and they did the work. However, every single employee I spoke to, including Mr. Molyneaux made it seem like they just couldn't believe what I was telling them. They made excuses for their installer, and said he was one of their best employees, etc. I felt like I was getting the runaround with excuses and was told that the salesman should have told the installer about the special beds, and that the installer was rightfully upset, etc, although his behavior was not okay. I did hear from the second installer, however, that the first installer did actually fess up to him that what I had said was true, and the second installer also said that the consensus around Molyneaux was that I may just be a crazy woman. In the end, we got our carpet installed and it looks beautiful, but I would never, EVER call them again for anything.

I met Colleen at a Home Show in Cranberry. She brought samples to our home. We picked out what we wanted and placed an order. She measured our stairs and hallway and left with an installation date scheduled. We were called a week early to say that our material had arrived and that they could install the carpet a week early. So we rescheduled the installation. Chris and Jason arrived on time and proceeded to measure, cut and install the carpet. They really hustled but were unable to complete the job that day. We made arrangements for another day for them to complete the job. They arrived on time and completed the job. They did a great job of cleaning up any debris and the carpet looks terrific. Both Chris and Jason took pride in their work. They were professional and thorough.

We went to the nearby Molyneaux store to look at carpeting selection and were greeted by Frank Alberts, who was very helpful and informative. He asked some questions about the project and then went to find samples of different carpets so that we could identify the range of styles and textures we wanted. It seems that people prefer to select carpet in their homes these days, so he said after he had an idea what we wanted he would schedule an appointment to come to the house so we could see the samples in the rooms and match the colors. This was a great way to start. I felt we quickly identified the feel and style of carpets we wanted, and then we scheduled the appointment. When Frank arrived he was prepared with several different products in a range of qualities and prices. We never felt pressured to buy, but after identifying the probable product, he gave us a quote which fit exactly within the budget. This seemed like an excellent choice, and I had the added knowledge that they guarantee their product and installation, which was important. I feel their sales process is comfortable and easy, and I had no hesitation in selecting what I wanted. The product came into the warehouse nearly two weeks early, and the scheduler called to ask if we wanted to move up the installation date, so we did. The installers arrived promptly the morning of the installation, and were friendly and efficient. They quickly but carefully emptied the rooms, stripped out the old carpeting and padding, and started to install the product. I was very impressed by the quick installation; they were really only here a couple of hours, but it looked great when they finished. My only disappointment was that on a rather snowy day, they came in with their shoes uncovered and tracked wet snow through the halls. Since my hallway is vinyl, that was not a big issue, but I never really saw what their shoes looked like when they were walking on my brand new carpet and whether they were tracking wet snow onto it. I guess I figured they would cover their shoes or something to protect the flooring. Otherwise, we're very happy with our new carpeting, the softness and the padding are a big upgrade from the old flooring. Frank was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the installers, despite the snow, did a great job. I would highly recommend Molyneaux and will definitely call them next time I'm ready for flooring.
