He knocked down the part that was loose and buckled and he put drywall up in there and patched it. He removed the buckled plaster ceiling, installed drywall and he patched and sealed it up there. What stands out the most is just the quality. I would recommend him to a friend or a family member because of the quality and the professionalism. He is a very, very nice man, very nice to get along with. If there is a problem with anything he comes back. He comes back for no charge and he will touch it up. If it was too much I wouldn't have him come again and he has been here a couple of times.

I would use them again.

We didn't actually find this contractor on Angie's List (he was referred by a friend), but he did such a great job, I figured I would see if he was on here, and give him a review. Nick was incredibly honest and professional, and very fairly priced (compared to the others that quoted the job). When quoting the work, he was upfront that he had never actually removed a back-splash before (had installed it many times, just never removed), so he just quoted us his hourly rate for that portion of the job, which didn't take too long. After removing the old back-splash, parts of the old dry wall invariably came with it, so he installed new dry wall, so that the back-splash would not bubble over time. He did a great job, and arrived every day when he said he would, and cleaned everything up each day, so we could still use the kitchen while he worked. Got along great with our dog, too. The only downside, is that because of his prices/quality, there may be a little lead time required (I think it was around 4-6 weeks for us, he actually worked Sat/Sun to fit us into his schedule). But if you are not in a huge hurry, well worth the wait.
