I told Mike what I wanted and that I didn't want to move electrical outlets which limited the design of the room. Also, because my house is very old, it is very uneven, which presented a real challenge. He was very responsive to what I wanted. My daughter was very specific about where she wanted different elements and he even suggested a wall of hooks since she tend to not hang things up right away. He added a little wall of shelves on one side so she could use that for easy storage of her purses or shoes that she doesn't wear often . He really made interesting use of all the limited available space so that in the end it seemed very personally designed and perfect for her. It blended in perfectly with the décor of the rest of the room and definitely added to the value of my home. He was very professional in his designs and work and it looks beautiful!

I could not be happier with the work provided to me by Mike Dougan. He installed 2 tile floors in each of my bathrooms and the results are beautiful! Mike's service is professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and most of all friendly and courteous. Although Mike has skill in craftsmanship to command a much higher rate of service, his work exemplifies his belief that a beautiful home should be affordable to all. I highly recommend Mike Dougan as an independent contractor and would gladly use his services for future home projects.
