+ -1 moreMichael Graybrook is a close neighbor and a friend, but my mother is unlikely to have trusted such a large project to somebody that she did not know. Michael is billing us at $80.00 an hour, discounted from $100.00. Michael has been very good at patiently explaining the project to my mother, who is non-ambulatory. Michael has guided our thinking about lighting and using brick on our stairs to maintain architectural continuity with the rest of our house. Michael is friendly and approachable. My mother would not do business with Michael if she did not trust him.
Description of Work: Michael consulted with us on the work to be done; he helped us difine the scope of our project. Michael made measured drawings of the area where the work is to be done, using surveying equipment and a laser level. Michael has acted in the role of general contractor by selecting and contacting suppliers, negotiating prices, and he also supervised the plumbing inspection. The project involves repairs to our garage, driveway, back stairs, lighting, gutters, garage door, and possibly modifications to our sewer line. The project is ongoing, the bill was for one month's work.
