Description of Work: Needed dumpsters for household debris from renovations. Besides being responsive and professional, Michael's has choices. I needed a 30 cu. yard dumspter but a ro-ro (roll on, roll off) is too long for my property. They had a 22 cu. yard lift-off that was perfect. Followed it up with a smaller 11 yard ro-ro. Would easily use them again.

 + -1 moreMichael Brothers Hauling service was a great convenience to us. They dropped off the dumpster on time. The driver was friendly and professional, asking if we cared if the dumpster was going to mess up the grass. He worked fast and had no trouble dropping the unit exactly where we wanted it. We certainly plan to use this company in the future. We really appreciated the photos on their well organized website, showing how big each container is. If you are not familiar with the sizes available it is difficult to picture how much space you actually need. The photos helped us make that choice so much easier.

 + -1 moreA large roll-off dumpster was required for the purpose of cleaning out a house in preparation for its sale. Michael Brothers was contracted to supply one. They delivered and picked it up on the dates requested. The various employees that were encountered throughout the entire process were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. It should be noted here that location where the work was performed was in West Mifflin, PA, not my own residence. This Angie's List form only permits me to select my home or the provider's as a location Adding another selection of maybe "Other Location" would have made for a better in choice in this instance.

 + -1 moreWhen they picked the dumpster at my neighbor’s house they blocked my driveway. I called to have them move it and ask them to not do it again. The manager said he would take care of it. A few weeks later they came back to work with another neighbor further down the street. They parked their truck near my drive way again. I believe it is retaliation and intimidation. There is a law here that you have to park 8 feet away from driveways and they failed to do so. When I asked for the business' address the manager refused to give it to me. I was going to have my attorney right them a letter to stop but they would not give me the address.
Description of Work: They were performing dupster services on my neighbor.

 + -1 moreWhen refurbing an old barn, the contractor didn't tell us we needed to get the dumpster service, so I found this company online and after a few calls to other ones they seemed the best. And they were. We used three dumpsters and each time they were prompt + professional and very helpful.
Description of Work: Very professional in explaing the options I had for dumpsters, and very prompt delivery and pickup of three different dumpsters. I would definitely recommend this company if you need any dumpster work.

 + -1 moreordered an 11 CY dumpster on a Thursday that was needed on that Saturday. The dumpster was delivered exactly were asked within two hours of placing the order. I was not there to witness the drop, but it was a tight location and was placed perfectly. The $350 price is competitive, it may be cheap. I'm comparing to my experience ordering much larger dumpsters that are used for months with multiple pickups.

 + 0 morePrice was competitive--although a coupon in a local paper for this company would have been $20 cheaper if I had known about it Contact with office of this company was polite and professional..Driver had to work hard to deliver the dumpster in a tight area---did a great job. They let me have the dumpster for 14 days for $465 which I felt was reasonable.

Description of Work: I contracted Michael Brothers to haul away some construction material, old wood, metal, fencing, weeds, vines and debris that was left between houses by the former owner as well as an old electric chair lift, two metal kitchen cabinets and assorted rugs pieces. Mike returned my initial call within an hour and set up a time for an estimate the next day. I was not required to be home for the estimate. He gave the price quote that day and said they would be able to schedule the job within a week. SIx days later Mike called to tell me his driver was on the way. I met Steve at the house. It was a 90+ degree day and Steve worked alone for about two hours. He was friendly and efficient. Removed all the items and raked the ground between houses. Very well done, especially in this heat!

Arrived on time, and when they saw one truck would not hold all of the stuff, they called for a second truck that arrived in about 15 minutes. They took added stuff that I had not thought would fit via one trip. Excellant service. Very friendly

 + 0 moreThe driver, Ed, showed up at 8:00 the day of delivery. He was very friendly and accommodating in helping me decide where it was best to position it. The rental was for 15 days, so I called on the 15th day as instructed and it was picked up as advertised the following day. All of the gentlemen I talked to on the phone in the process of setting up the appointment and scheduling the pickup were very helpful. I would highly recommend their services to others.
Description of Work: We had a company come to our home to remove old, moldy paneling from a room in our basement. They required that we rent a 10 yard dumpster for them to put the old paneling. I researched a bit online so I knew what competitive pricing was and then I went to the Michael Brothers website. I called them and was very impressed with their customer service and quick ability to deliver a dumpster.

 + -1 moreThe backyard they were delivering the dumpster to was difficult to get into. Their first attempt ended with the truck getting stuck in the mud. Another truck had to come and pull the first truck out. I thought they should have planned a little better, but they eventually dropped the dumpster off. Subsequent trips seemed to go better. I am still left with a large hole in my yard from where the truck sunk into the mud.
Description of Work: Delivered and picked up 2 dumpsters; an 8-yard and a 6-yard.

We've been doing this long distance, so it is imperative that they are there when they say, as we are traveling there to do the work. They have met all their time tables for us. Very pleased.
