Gary was tardy a day and so that put the plasterer behind one day. We have an old house so the electrical outlet boxes were a bit tricky to install. We didn't think that should have been an isssue to an experienced electrician in a city full of much older homes..but it was an issue to Gary who mumbled and complained about each box he installed. He also installed two hanging lights (for which he had already installed two electric boxes) but as he did so --and as he was already on a ladder--he leaned back against a dry but just painted wall in a not so clean uniform. apparently he did the same thing on the other side of our fireplace and by doing so HE TURNED ON THE SWITCH FOR THE HEATING VENTILATOR AND FAILED TO TURN IT OFF OR LET US KNOW ABOUT IT--RESULTING IN A COST OF 100 DOLLARS TO US--AS WE HAD THE AIR CONDITIONER CHEKED OUT BECAUSE IN THE 90 DEGREE HEAT WE CONFUSED THE VENTILATOR FAN WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER FAN AND WONDERED WHY THE AIR CONDITIONER WOULDN'TSHUT OFF! ON THE POSITIVE SIDE, HE DID SEEM TO KNOW HIS CRAFT,BUT WE'LL LOOK ELSEWHERE IN THE FUTURE
Description of Work: placed electrical boxes: 3 in living room (+new light switch box) ; re-hung dining room chandelier; installed porch light on existing fixture and installed 4-way outlet in basement.
