He was on time, neat and quick. Great job!

Work started on a Monday and completed that Thursday. Part of our ceiling had fallen in due to age and most of Monday was spent completing the demo of the rest of the ceiling and adding strips to the ceiling joists because they were uneven. Tuesday the new drywall and insulation were put up. Wednesday they added the texture to the ceiling and Thursday they painted the ceiling and installed and painted the crown molding. The end result looks great and I'm glad we had Mike add the crown molding. I plan to use him again for another project in our garage.

I sent them a message on 5.20.2015 about replacing a shower faucet but they never got back to me

Showed up early, had everything he needed, was polite and efficient. He offered an honest opinion about future work he would do vs wouldn't do. I valued this because I'd rather someone say a job is outside of their specialty than do it incorrectly. The work he did do was great. I will definitely call him again.

Mike was prompt and courteous. His work was very professional. I was very satisfied and everything was completed as promised. The results were excellent.

I can't say enough about Mike's professionalism and expertise in the work he performed for us. He was prompt, courteous and always willing to explain everything he was doing to us. His crew was also very courteous and professional. While he was here I asked him to give me a price to remodel my bathroom. He promised me a quote soon and I know I will have it in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to hire Mike again. He was absolutely wonderful and his work is top notch!

This is actually the second bathroom redo we had Mike do for us. He has been great both times! He shows up when he says he will, he and his workers are professional and polite, and the work is exactly what we asked for. I even had a question about some work that we were doing on the flooring in the adjoining room that I wanted to match what he had done in the bathroom, and he was nice enough to give us some tips on that project. I will definitely call him again for the next project.

They were very prompt in the initial visit, and was able to fit my project into the next day. They completed the job very efficiently, and did excellent work. They cleaned up afterwards (better than it was before they got there). I would definitely use them again in the future.

Mike was great. He returned my call immediately, showed up when he said he would with all the necessary parts and tools, was neat about his work and removed his shoes at the door. I will certainly call him again.

This is the third appointment with McClelland and we will absolutely call him again. His staff is professional, punctual, they clean the job site when finished. They also finish the job in the time frame described! Mike always takes the time to explain the work that done - our properties were all built early 1900's and nothing is square, flush, or obvious. Mike and his crew have been able to work through the challenges of older structures and make it look good, too.

It was better and quicker then I expected. I thought it would be an all day project but Mike and his team finished up within 4 hours. Each one of them was as professional as the next. While the hole for the ladder was cut open Mike also brought up Plywood for the Attic floor from my garage. I would highly recommend Mike and McClelland Home Maintenance to do any Home Maintenance project. I will be using him in the future for other projects. Thanks Again!!!

Mike responded to my initial inquiry within 2 hours and I was able to speak with him directly to discuss each request. We set a date and he arrived with his crew on time. Over the course of three days, all the work was completed. I could not have been more pleased. In summary, Mike and his team were professional, top notch in technical execution, patient and thorough when answering my questions, and very pleasant. I received an estimate for the work which turned out to be the final bill so no surprises. While he was on-site, we identified a few other items for Phase II. They will install recessed lighting in one room, paint shutters and front door, vent a mounted microwave through the roof, and hang a series of tapestries. I feel very fortunate to have found Mike. His work is of the best quality and at a reasonable cost. As mentioned, I am already arranging for more to be done in the short term and some bigger outdoor projects for the Spring once the weather turns.

Great experience. Mike returned our initial call promptly and came to talk to us and look at the space for our intended structure the next day. He listened and asked appropriate questions. It was clear he understood what we wanted and was familiar with our construction needs. He got a written estimate to us quickly and followed up with our township on the building permit, speaking to their office and inspector on our behalf (we had called and approved his ability to interface directly with them.) Our township requires that a very lengthy, detailed application be submitted and at Mike's suggestion, we did hire an architect to submit the drawings, but Mike discounted his quote by the cost of the architectural fees. Mike and his crew were quiet, hard-working and quick. The work site was always neat and clean and they cleaned up thoroughly each afternoon. They worked in the rain and snow and cold just as hard as when the weather was good. We consulted with them occasionally, and they accommodated our tiny tweaks. At one point Mike recommended upgrading some lumber on a portion of the deck that is very visible and having seen the two options, he was 100% correct and we were grateful that he brought us the better option. The deck was completed in under two weeks and is well built and nicely finished. It is a mix of composite and wood at our request. The under portion is a carport. Mike and his crew had to cut down trees and excavate roots. They graded and lined the floor followed by laying and tamping stone. They also installed an attractive, channeled "roof" with a gutter on one end so that water from rain or snow that might have otherwise dripped through the joints in the decking onto our car, is now routed away. We had a tight lattice added to two sides of the carport (it is attached to an existing garage) and Mike thought to attach it in such a way as to be easy to remove so that the side of the steps that come down along the one side can easily be stained in the Spring. We continue to be very impressed with Mike and his talented, hard-working crew.

Called twice. No return call. If you are too busy, fine. At least give someone the courtesy of returning a call and telling someone you are too busy.

Everything they did was perfect. They were very careful and very clean. It was very, very good. They are very busy but they are prompt once you get scheduled.

They did a great job. They were really good. I went with them because of the reviews on Angie's List. They were here early every day. They showed up on time.

Mike and his crew completed a bathroom remodel for me. He was very prompt with all communications from initial estimate through the completion of the project. They answered all questions as the project went along. They completed the project timely and were very respectful of the fact that we had one bathroom. The quality of the work was great. My new bathroom looks wonderful! I would have them back for future work.

A few weeks is more than enough time to return a call.

The guys at McClelland Home Maintenance were fantastic! It has taken me a little while to write this review, but I cannot recommend Mike and his guys enough. The initial contact took a little while, but once I got in touch with Mike, he came right over and gave me an estimate. The pricing was extremely fair, and he worked with me to slip the job into an already packed schedule as quickly as possible to get my home livable again. The crew that Mike brought was extremely personable and professional. Each of the three days that job required, the team actually showed up EARLY, and immediately set to work. The took care to protect my belongings and to maintain a clean work environment, especially difficult as sanding of drywall following mudding was required. When the drywall was complete, Mike and his crew actually textured the whole ceiling, not just the damaged parts, and then actually sanded it down to match the original texture. Their work was perfect, and you cannot even tell that any work at all has been done, a significant difference from some previous projects I have had done over the years. As I stated, I would use McClelland Home Maintenance again in a heartbeat. During the course of the job, I asked Mike for bids for several other projects I intended to complete (finish basement, mudd and sand garage walls, deck, and painting.) Unlike others I have worked with over the years, he told me which jobs he felt they could complete, and which were beyond his capabilities or expertise (painting required specialized equipment and techniques he was uncomfortable with, deck schedule was not ideal.) Additionally, the prices and explanation of scope he provide were by far the most reasonable and complete of any of the bids I received. A final word is that McClelland Home Maintenance was also extremely helpful when it came to arrangements for payment. My mortgage company was extremely tardy and difficult to deal with, but the deposit Mike requested was more than fair, and he was patient while I worked out my issues with the mortgage company. When I begin the other involved home improvement projects I have planned for the next couple of years, Mike and the guys at McClelland Home Maintenance will be the first ones I call!

Had this company come out to give me a quote to convert carpeted stairs to hardwood using oak treads. They spent about 15 minutes at my home. Took some measurements and pictures and was told I would get a quote in a few days. Never heard from them again.

Good honest guy with a good eye for detail. He said the work would take 3 days and it did.Showed up on time every day. These guys worked steadily though out the day breaking only for lunch . Solid professional job. We were treated respectfully by he and his crew,who also were skilled.Mike and his guys were very good with our dogs and cats.There weren't any problems with any added on expenses like some contractors do.He did come in a couple of hundred over the bid because I purchased the incorrect surround which caused additional work to be performed. He didn't look for problems that he could add on to his work load to take advantage of, thus trying to gouge you for more money. Very ethical man. We told him what we wanted him to do and he did it. He needed a few extra bags of gravel for the downspout job and didn't charge us for it. There was an issue with the diverter dripping which was a Moen warranty item where I had to order a replacement part for a faulty cartridge in the diverter.He's coming back to repair it free of charge once I receive it.He told me," I won't leave you hanging", and I believe him.They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all trash and everything they tore down.Also Jennifer who does his office work was very nice and easy to work with.She uses the internet for the bids and other communication.I liked that.All questions were answered in a timely fashion. Again,Good honest hard working knowledgeable man with no B.S. Definitely will use his services again.

We were able to have our garage looked at by Mike the day after we called. Upon receiving our estimate we were lucky to schedule our work very quickly. While the project was small, we felt that Mike was committed to providing us the same service a large project might receive. They ripped everything out the first day, prepped for reinstall action, and left the area to dry overnight. The following day someone came to install the new drywall. The work area was left very neat and we are pleased with the finished product. We will certainly consider them for any other projects.

Great service! Came out to quote the project on Thursday afternoon and the work was completed by Friday afternoon. They were very professional and polite and were the most reasonably priced of three companies we called. The work looks great and we can't wait to fence our yard now that the stairs are taken care of! Thank you for the quick, great work!

I had a problem with minor settling of my front porch which affected the gutters draining. These guys came and quoted fast, came the next day and did the work, Fast, good job, clean, as promised, as quoted. I IWLL call again for future jobs. Highly reccommended!
