Maid with Care

The Maid With Care staff was swamped with other jobs. I needed a one-time cleaning on short notice. The women sacrificed to fit us in. They were prompt, thorough, highly experienced, professional, and paid great attention to every detail. They sought to please our every wish. The house is sparkling. This very well could be the beginning of a long-term relationship! Well done!

Few minor issues, but in general, the house was sparkling clean. Biggest issue became the cost, ended up having to discontinue due to a price increase. Office was easy to deal with, they made scheduling easy.

I just want to warn anyone out there who is thinking of using Maid With Care cleaning service. DON'T. They may clean your house HALF-DECENT, but in the meantime they will ruin your furniture and break things around your house. I take pride in the things I have accumulated over the years and so I take care of them very well. Nicole & Gretchen? the girls that WERE cleaning my house broke A TOILET SEAT!!!!? that they would not own up to and their "manager" basically called me a liar and believed that the seat was already broken. Yeah, that's what I have all day to do, blame other people for things that go wrong in my house. WHAT A COINCIDENCE that they JUST HAPPENED TO LEAVE and it is mysteriously broken. I gave these girls tip money at holidays and left them treats occasionally and still they lie about something as stupid as that to get out of losing a job that they already suck at. Thanks Maid with care for calling me a liar. Why would someone (Caroline) make the statement: "We are not replacing your whole toilet?it's in working order????!!!!! Are you that stupid that you don't know that you can just replace the TOILET SEAT?!!! yea, I guess you are. Good riddance and I WILL make sure that I never recommend your company to anyone ever again. And YES I have no problem leaving my name...

The actual cleaning of the house was very good. I can't discredit this service for the women that came to my house. They were thorough and punctual. I am most disappointed with the management. I called to try and set up a monthly cleaning for my home. I fully explained my house. 1940 two story home with partially finished basement. 2 bedrooms and a small office w 1 bathroom upstairs. A living room, kitchen, dining room on the main floor. Finally a linoleum basement with a half bath. I was appraised at $124 and told and quot;it would take something significant to increase the priceand quot; when I asked how the estimates worked. The girls came and cleaned and left me a bill for 144 (164 w/ $20 off for my first cleaning) and said the increase in price was due to them having to spend an extra 30 min over they 1.5 hr limit. Not to mention, that I didn't even have them clean the basement! 1. I was never told that I was being appraised for 1.5. 2. You would think that after an explanation of my home, it would be clear that it would take more than 1.5 hours to clean 3. The girls that came had no idea about any instructions I provided to management (do no leave the bill with my father, this was a trial for a monthly cleaning, clean the office but not the basement) I also received a call the day after the cleaning so that I could pay over the phone. I missed the call, and called back. The owner was at lunch so I was told I would get a call back either later in the day 4-5 or on Friday. It took me calling today (Monday) to get to talk to her. The company seems very disorganized and not well managed. This is in addition to be misleading in price quoting. I would not recommend them.

The first two times they came I was pleased with the job they did. It wasn't like I clean but it was OK. The third time was a waste. I had to redo a lot of stuff myself. I cancelled the service.

Did a terrible job. They came back and the still wasn't clean. I wouldn't use them ever again.

i am not a housecleaner. i had them come in november because i had company coming for thanksgiving. they did a deep clean, it was a joy to come home to a clean house. now i have them coming once a month. its nice not to have to think about cleaning the bathroom or the kitchen floor. they are very professional. i like that they leave me a detailed bill, and call to confirm the next clean.

My 81 year old grandmother recently contacted Maids with Care to inquire about their services to clean her home, as it is becoming to much for her to handle alone. The woman she spoke with told her "I'm not sure you could even afford us" and quoted her $70/hour for two women to clean. Pretty arrogant and clearly lacking professionalism, or any class for that matter. I wouldn't let this company clean my home if it were free.

I made the appointment with Debbie about a month in advance. She called the Friday before to confirm the appointment. Suzanne and Nikki (Team 12) arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. I explained to them that I had family coming in from out of town and could not clean due to a bad back. After discussing what I wanted, the ladies began work right away. They vacuumed and dusted in the basement TV room, cleaned the basement bathroom, and cleaned surfaces and mopped floor in laundry room. They cleaned both main floor bathrooms, two bedrooms, as well as the kitchen and living areas. This included cleaning/dusting all surfaces and vacuuming or mopping floors. Kitchen was spotless and the stainless steel appliances were left shiny and free of fingerprints and smudges. Suzanne and Nikki worked diligently for 2 1/2 hours but did not rush the cleaning. They even folded the toilet paper to look like triangles. I would definitely not hesitate to hire them again.

Overall, their work is good. You do not know what time they are coming, just the day and the price can vary from session to session which I was not told at the initial consultation.

They gave me an estimate when I made the appointment but it was not accurate. My home is fairly large and I knew it would be more then what they said. I am not sure if they charge by the hour or the number of people that come out. They did a very good job, efficient, explained what they were going to do and it was very helpful. I was very impressed with them.

For three hours it was $115. They were great and effective. It was a two woman team. They were not sure if they would get to my basement but they got to the entire house from top to bottom.

They are extremely pleasant; spend time with my cats and dog. They do extras if asked (example: wipe down the storm door which is too tall for me to reach) I notice little things where they have missed vacuuming ...corners, behind foot stools, etc. But they do so many other things so well, including picking up the tons of fur left all over by my two long-haired cats. They do make my bed every time....but don't and quot;centerand quot; the linens so one side is always longer than the other. That bothers me but I am reluctant to mention it because they are so nice....and it is an extra service. I've had the same two ladies for a couple of years....they are unfailingly cheerful, eager to please and extremely reliable.

We hired Maid with Care to clean our home bi-weekly. They called back immediately to schedule an appointment. The first time, they didn't show up but did call several times saying they were lost. When they finally did find the house the following week, the girls did a nice job. I wasn't blown away... but then again, nobody really blows you away with cleaning these days. They did well enough that I brought set up a regular bi-weekly cleaning. The girls were always on time and very nice. Their cleaning was good, but after several months it started to not look quite as clean. I guess that is pretty standard these days. I could have corrected them, and I am sure they would have done a more thorough job but instead I decided to try out another service that a neighbor was using and was very happy with. As for their pricing, it was very fair. I found them to be considerably less than a lot of other well-known services. Our house was about $170 every other week. We live in an average size house (about 2800 sq ft.) As predicted, our current cleaning service is starting to not do a great job anymore so I am thinking about returning to Maid with Care.

They were punctual, and they did what they were expected to do.

Some things were done very well, but overall we were disappointed with what we got for the price. There is somewhat of a communication issue with this company. I made the arrangements over the phone using our credit card with the understanding that we would be charged regularly. For some reason this didn't happen and we had to pay much more at once. They did work with us on spacing out payments, but I'm not sure why this happened in the first place. After the first cleaning, they removed the garbage bag from the kitchen trash can and left it at the bottom of the basement steps, where our cat tore in to it leaving a big mess for when we got home. I called to let them know to either just leave the trash in the can, or to put it in the garage but please not at the bottom of the steps. It happened again the next week and I had to call again. Our shower was not cleaned for two visits. Before the next visit, I called to specifically request that they be mindful of the shower, and again it was not done. After this, I called to cancel the service. I was offered a free cleaning with quality control present, which I accepted. The cleaning was good, but left me wondering why the house couldn't have been cleaned that well in the first place, and I cancelled. We were then billed accidentally for the free cleaning. I also had to call to remind them to send my keys back.

I hired Maid with Care to clean our house bi-weekly starting in May. They do excellent work. I have very specific cleaning instructions for most of my house and they do it perfectly every time. They tend to be more expensive than other services that I used in the past but I feel they are worth it based on their performance. They haven't missed anything I asked them to clean. They are on time every time and are very efficient with their time in our house. I had issued in the past with cleaning services watching TV, which slowed them down and they screwed up our remotes every time they cleaned. I would recommend this service to anyone that wants a professional service to clean their home.

Easy to schedule, arrived on time. I asked that they clean inside cabinets and drawers, they missed many. Over charged me, I had a coupon that they forgot to apply. Asked for biweekly cleaning estimate, cost was very high.

It went very well. I have been using them twice a month for six months.

Debbie contacted me to set up a time to meet and discuss the job. After a walk-thru, she gave me an approximate estimate of the cost based on two hours of work. She explained that the cost would be less if the work was completed in less time, but shouldn't go over the estimated time. On the day of the cleaning, two ladies arrived on time ready to work. They were professional and courteous. Overall it was a good experience except there were a few details they overlooked, such as wiping down the front of the fridge and stove, and cleaning the cobwebs that accumulated on the inside of the door. I'd never hired a cleaning service before, so some things I didn't realize I needed to request. I would hire them again, but I'll make sure to be even more specific about what I expect. The ladies finished a little early, so the price came in a little less than the estimate. I would've been happy if the ladies would've stayed a little longer and paid a little more attention to some details. However, one of the ladies did inform me that the drain in the prep sink was particularly nasty, and she cleaned it thoroughly; so I appreciated that detail. Lastly, I liked that Debbie called me after to inquire about my experience.

We've been with them for many years. They are reliable.

Very well, showed up on time and stayed until they were finished. They were booked for 2.5 hours, stayed for 3 because of what they had to do. This did not bother me; I was happy for them to stay and the charge was not onerous.

They've been doing a fine job. They're punctual and professional.

Very good experience. Easy to schedule, on time. Able to finish in less time than estimated so I paid less than the estimate. House was very clean; everyone noticed, even the kids.
