 + -1 moreTerrible, and this is the second well below average experience I've had with Macy's and Worry No More. Short story is, bought a $1700 leather sectional couch approximately 18 months ago. Now the leather is flaking around every seam in the seats and 'Worry No More' told me, "Sorry, but your plan does not cover that kind of damage". So it just so happens the couch starts to show unreasonable wear just after the 1 year Warranty expires and Worry No More won't cover it. What a scam and waste of $$. On top of that, the store manager tells me this past Sunday that she's spoken with the regional manager at Worry No More and they will 'contact Monday or Tuesday regarding a tech appointment to look at my sectional." Well, its now Thursday and nothing. This is also the second time that Macy's and Worry No More did not deliver as advertised on a couch that I had purchased. And the first time, much like this time, Worry No More's response is "Sorry, nothing we can do" I would avoid shopping at this store at all cost. The store, store management and Worry No More are all well below average in terms of service and you'll be wasting your money.
Description of Work: Bought a leather sectional couch at Macy's in Ross Park Mall. Also bought the 'Worry No More' protection plan for $218. Both are terrible products, not worth a dime.

 + -1 moreWe bought a pillow-top mattress from Macy's. It's been just great for us. Getting the mattress was just terrific, and I get a good night's sleep every time. I travel a lot, and I look forward to getting home to my mattress regardless of how nice a bed I slept on while on the road.
Description of Work: The last time I purchased a mattress I got it from Macy's department store.

 + -1 moreWe purchased a king sized bed and frame from Macy's. The staff were very helpful and answered our questions about different mattress brands, durability and popularity. The bed arrived on time as scheduled, and the delivery people helped put the frame together. Overall, we've been pleased with the mattress. Macy's provides a good selection of home furnishings for reasonable prices. We recommend taking advantage of their frequent sales.

Description of Work: I had to post kudos to this Macy's store, which sets an exemplary standard for customer service. I went to find an item on a gift registry, the woman behind the counter immediately stopped what she was doing and went to locate the item for me. Upon comparing the UPC numbers to ensure it was the correct item, she carried my very heavy item to the register for me. She then proceeded to ask where I was parked, and offered their package pick-up service, which I never even knew existed. I drove up to the pick-up door, rang a bell and a gentleman came out and put my heavy purchase in my car. I never once had to lift the item, which I deeply appreciated, especially as I have a back problem. I wanted to add this report because department stores are, after all, a service-based business as well as retail, and this experience stood out for me as an impressive example of customer service.

 + -1 moreTHE SALES REP WAS VERY HELPFUL IN POINTING OUT THE PROS AND CONS OF MANY TYPES OF FURNITURE. HE WAS VERY POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND COURTEOUS. THE FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED ON TIME AND EVEN THE DELIVERY GUYS WERE VERY POLITE.
Description of Work: WE PURCHASED AND HAD DELIVERED A NEW LEATHER LIVING ROOM SET.
