Lowe's

I let my husband handle it. We ordered the one we wanted, while I wasn't home they called and said it wasn't in stock but that they had a more expensive one there that someone else ordered and didn't want and they would bring it over and install it. He said yes. The heating element has never worked.

They do excellent work. He is the most conscientious and careful person I have ever meet in my life.

I gave them the gift card and that was it. Lowe's is closer to my house and I would rather go closer. The customer service is fine. All I did was pick up furniture polish or something and went to the counter and checked out with my gift card. I had a very positive experience.

The guy who came out made a custom piece for the window sill. He did a very good job on it and it is beautiful. He also did a good job on the window itself. It looks great. we love it and are happy with it. He does nice work. When we were talking to the salesperson at the store about the window he changed the amount of the window every time. It kept getting higher and higher. When I asked him to explain this to me he kept giving me a different story each time. When I finally went to sign the papers he was not there and I spoke to another gentleman and we were actually not going to do it, but that guy who was there calmed me down. He explained everything and went through everything thoroughly. He had nothing to do with this job and just happened to work in the same department. He made me and my husband feel a lot better by explaining things and why they were what they were. He took the time out to let us know and just to explain things. The installer never came when he was supposed to and just showed up when he felt like it. He did not say he was sorry for being late, he just totally ignored it. However, he did a beautiful job on the installation.

We requested an estimate for replacement cabinets and new microwave and dishwasher. Lowes sent installer and designer within a week. The designer was very helpful and patient while discussing the changes and updates we were seeking. He explained everything and made helpful suggestions and additional improvements. The cabinets arrived in 4 weeks as promised. A few items were missing, a few were incorrect but most of the kitchen arrived and all was received in good condition from Kraftmaid. The installer had set aside time to start on our project without us calling to schedule as he had a heads up on anticipated receipt of the cabinets. (We were to call the installer and give him the receipt date and we failed to do that. I feared installation would be delayed by weeks) Installer arrived on time 6/11/13, 8am to begin installation as promised. Cabinet installation is almost complete, the appliances are in. We will have to wait an additional few weeks for the missing items but the installation is going well. Lowes install a temporary sink so the kitchen may be used while we await the installation of the quartz countertop that will be measured by the manufacturer next week.

They sent somebody to the house to do a computation and a quote then scheduled an appointment, the people were in and out in 3 hours, it had a very low impact, and they were very professional. They are a reliable and professional company and they have trustworthy people working for them.

The experience with Lowe's was not great. There was confusion in the measuring, prepping and installation processes. There was a difference of expectations in what we were supposed to do, and what the installers were supposed to do. The end product is good, and Lowe's did everything they could in the store to make good on the fact that it didn't start off real great. But it was a rather painful experience. A lot of back and forth with the sub contractors.

Everything went smooth as silk and it worked like any other gift card.

The story doesn't end here though. After about a week I realized that I hated the refrigerator. It was noisy and didn't have the bells and whistles that I 'thought' I didn't want. I called Lowe's thinking I was going to be in for rough time but to my surprise they said, "No problem. Pick out what you want and we'll deliver it and take away the other one." The only extra cost was the difference between the one I returned and the new one. This one was a bit more because by then I decided that I did, indeed, want the bells and whistles. I was told that if there were any problems they would come out to service and if they deemed it necessary, I would receive a new appliance at no charge. I know that the service is excellent because a friend of mine had purchased a new stove from them and within a week or so had a problem with the burner ignition. The Service Tech was there the next day and discovered that it was due to a plugged ignition switch. No charge at all. I would recommend Lowe's for appliances to anyone. In fact, I do every day! I haven't experienced other types of services with them but I plan on researching Angie's List for possible flooring from them as well.

They did a fantastic job. They helped me find cabinets. They have a whole selection. They measured the kitchen. They came up with four different designs for the kitchen that we could use. They people who came out were great.

I was not happy with them. I had a very bad experience with them. It took them four days for the work. They are very incompetent. The contractor who was supposed to do the work wasn't good. They had to come back and fix the things that they had pulled out. They were very unprofessional. It's frustrating when you expect people to be professional and they do this. I had other roofers comment on the roof and the amount which I had paid. Other roofers told me that they had overcharged me. It would have actually cost me only $4000. It's a fact that when people are close to you, they know you have to get like them. You don’t have to cash outright to pay when you know those people. I would not go to them ever. If I had to recommend anything to anyone, I would tell them to find just a roofing company. The problem was that they subcontracted the job and that is the mistake that they did. There were too many subcontractors and they don’t check into them. I had to go through so many people to get the problem corrected and not to mention that I did not get any permits for that. They were supposed to have got them according to their quote. The building inspector from our district had to contact Lowe’s and they had to fix it from their end. They were supposed to have done that and they did not. They did not inform me either that I needed it. I would not give them a good mark at all. The work which they came back and redid looks alright. When they found out the problems they responded to me, so I rate them a B for responsiveness. It took them a week and half to get me the materials. They would take off for lunch and not come back for the whole rest of the day. They did play music up there and did not work much. That’s why they took longer to finish that job. I was told that it was only going to be a two day job and it tool them four. A lot of that was because when they took off for lunch and never bothered coming back. They left the ladders just like that. Any kid that could have come would have climbed up. They did not take them down for safety reason. They would have not done that if they were professional. You never know what contractors they were going to send out. If I had to get this job done again I would use somebody professional. When you want something done make sure you look for company that does just that particular work and not a bunch of other things.

They are absolutely very knowledgeable and very friendly. They are very easy to work with. The stuff what they had was very up to date. They gave us a good look and feel of what the kitchen would look like once the work was over.

No surprises. No delays. Smooth from start to finish.

Alice, the kitchen Sales Specialist at Lowe's at the Point is a true professional. She made sure that our kitchen remodel went as smoothly as it possibly could. She listened to what we wanted and needed. She helped us determine the cabinets and listened to our budget concerns. She worked with us and everything happened as she said it would. The people that she hooked us up with were all very professional. We had no complaints or worries. What a relief! Having a kitchen remodel is a stressful experience, but Alice made it less stressful by being such a competent and professional sales specialist. If you need new kitchen cabinets you need to check Lowe's out. You will not be disappointed!

I have used Lowe's for quite a few projects. I choose them as they are only 5 miles from my home. I chose the best carpet and top of line pad. Their salespeople truly met my needs and thrive on customer satisfaction. I was very pleased with the installers as well.

The work was done on time at the specified price and the quality was very good. I would definitely recommend them.

2 men came to our house and built a 10x12x9 shed from scratch in 2 days. This was one of the easiest projects from start to finish. Very nice product, professional staff.

ALTHOUGH IT'S HARD TO GET SOMEONE TO WAIT ON YOU AT LOWE'S, WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH THE ORDER. THEY RECOMMENDED GOOD INSTALLERS WHO DID A NICE JOB IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

THE LOWE'S SALESPERSON DESIGNATED FOR THE APPLIANCES WAS SO BUSY THAT ANOTHER SALES ASSOCIATE HELPED US. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. HE ARRANGED FOR HELP IN GETTING THE STOVE INTO OUR VAN.

THEY HAD THE BEST PRICES AND GOOD CHOICES. THE SALESMAN WAS QUICK WITH HELPING.
