This electrician did a wonderful job. he had to completely rewire my home and truth be told if it weren't for him I wouldn't have a home right now. He was very efficient and got the job done right the first time. He was professional and courteous and his crew is so wonderful. They've even come out and changed the batteries on the smoke detector because I can't reach the ceilings. . I would and have recommend him to others.

They are very reasonably priced and very responsive. They saved me money when choosing a circuit breaker. I was going to get more than I needed, and they corrected me. They're very pleasant.

We were very pleased with the work and the cost. Electricians worked quickly and efficiently, taking a minimum of breaks. Marc was able to schedule the work within a couple of days of us calling. We didn't ask for an estimate because what we asked him to do was so open-ended, but were very pleased with the resultant cost. We definitely will use his service for the work we wil need done on a new rental property (6/2010)

Two men did show up to look at the site and give the information back to the owner. There was an old fuse box hidden behind the back corner of the refrigerator and an old breaker panel literally behind the stove. These had to be moved, ungraded and consolidated as we were selling the apartment. When the men were there they looked and said that the easiest place would be on the wall in the living room, but I told them that that was likely not good as it would look bad and the plaster molding on the wall would never look right and a picture could not logically cover it there. Marc called me and told me that the inspector (who he knew and who had recommended Marc to me) wanted it in a room or hallway. We discussed these alternatives, and I told him that none was aesthetically very acceptable. I suggested somewhere in the kitchen (where the boxes already were), which he rejected, and then I suggested one of two closets (which other apartment owners had used), but he rejected these as well, and told me that he had talked with the inspector and these were not acceptable at all. I told him that in my opinion, his solutions were not acceptable, but since it was up to the buyer and the inspector, they would have to decide. Marc then simply said he didn't want to work with me, and hung up. I called the inspector and he told me that he normally would like the panel in an exposed room or hallway, but that that was not possible in this older building, and that putting it in the kitchen was fine, or in the one closet that was a storage closet was also OK with him. We got someone else (from Angie's List), they were easy to work with, solved the problem and did the work. Needless to say, I would never call Lorand Electric for any future work that I might have.
