 + -1 moreA neighbor had been cutting my grass (for a fee) but became ill and unable to continue. I did use Angie's List and found several referrals. I have not had any issues at all. I'm not sure what the going rates might be but I found this reasonable for the area requiring attention. Sean responded quickly to my initial phone call, came over to see it and gave me the estimate. I had called two other places and did not receive responses for a few days. I'm satisfied with my decision.
Description of Work: Landscapes Unlimited is cutting my lawn on a biweekly basis. I have a large area in the back of my house, on a hill, and they do a very good job - they've been reliably mowing since the end of June.

 + -1 moreWe were very happy. Our lawn gets a lot of use -- two young boys, and we weren't looking for perfection we were just looking to find a reasonably priced way to improve its condition. Shawn's price was significantly lower than two other estimates and he worked hard to fit us into his schedule (not easy with all of the rain this spring). He was also very prompt to return calls, and offered some good advice on how to complete the over-seeding ourselves.
Description of Work: Shawn de-thatched our front and back yard (approx. 2,000 sq feet), did core aeration, and delivered a yard of mushroom compost.

Description of Work: They had to bring topsoil and plant grass seed, also had to bring a truck of mulch and spread the mulch. Also pulled 2 small stumps from the ground and cut back 3 more that were sticking out of the ground.

 + 1 moreShawn always provides a price ahead of time for new work and he is always punctual, efficient and pleasant. If there are any questions about the work, he will ask before starting. Shawn will also provide pricing options for the landscaping work, such as prices for various stone, brick, etc. so that you can decide what fits your budget.
Description of Work: Sean and his team have worked on my yard for several years. They perform the routine lawn mowing, trimming and leaf removal, and are also able to complete other landscaping projects when needed. They replaced a low retaining wall in my yard, replaced ground cover, removed a dead tree and also cleaned the gutters.

 + 1 moreThe work is always thorough and well done. Shawn will provide estimates in advance of anything out of the ordinary you would like him to do and his prices seem reasonable. Their work is quick and they are all very nice and professional.
Description of Work: Shawn and his team primarily mow my lawn on a bi-monthly basis but they have also done leaf removal on occasion, and even are able to plow snow in the winter. They can also do project work such as spring/fall cleanup, shrub trimming, they even removed a big pine tree for me that I did not like and planted a new tree in it's place. I once had a huge old tree fall down in my back yard and Shawn and his team came and removed every bit of it for me at a very reasonable cost.
