Left voice mail and Jeremy called back within 1 hour. I happened to find another service that was coincidentally in the neighborhood that same day so I got a quote and hired him on the spot to do the job. Jeremy left another voice mail within a few hours to ensure I received a reply. Kruljak offices were total professionals in replying to my initial request. It just happened to work out that I had another service in the neighborhood and it was convenient to use them. I will definitely call upon Kruljak for future work on my property. Very diligent, very professional- greatly impressed with their responsiveness even though I ended up using another company.

The whole Kruljac Team are very professional, reliable, efficient, timely and did this whole job in approximately 4 hours. The cleanup job was perfect. I recommend this company of tree experts very highly and have already booked them again in November 2016 to prune my Oak trees. Last but not least they did such an excellent job for a reasonable price. You won't go wrong by hiring this tree service company.

After 3 phone calls (2 voicemails, and one conversation with a receptionist) and 2 emails, no one has contacted me.

They were considerate: I was able to work out of the home during the days they were here. They used microphones in their helmets to communicate quietly. careful: Even though they had to work beside or near my garden and shrubbery, they carefully avoided any damage. competent: They climbed the trees they were addressing and inspected the entire system as they proceeded to thin and install cables. conscious of safety: All the men remained focused on performing their job safely and well. There were four men who worked collaboratively and efficiently for two of the days, and three men the final day. Arriving at 8:00 am, they worked steadily until they left about 3:30 pm each day. If they took lunch breaks at all, those breaks must have been short. I'll also add that they cleaned up at the end of each day and performed a final inspection of the property to assure nothing was left behind or collateral damage occurred.

This is a family business, which to us is a plus. The work was well-done. The crew worked hard and were good at what they did. The price was very reasonable and fair. One of the best things about this company is Ryan. He is an expert arborist and he cares about the trees. His judgment and advice seem to be very sound. We will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs. Thanks, Ryan!

It went very well. They were easy to deal with, gave us a reasonable quote, and were very professional. Despite the fact that it is a steep and difficult place to work, they picked out the good strong trees and removed a lot of junk trees and scrub. They worked very hard and left our hilly back yard looking so much better.

It was a wonderful job. They actually climbed the tree (about 50 ft.) and cut off the upper branches so that they would not fall onto the garage roof. It was amazing. The care and skill that they have is beyond excellent. I would recommend them to anyone for any tree service.

The service provided by Kruljac was prompt, professional, and performed with utmost attention to safety. The tree cleanup and removal went without flaw; they left nothing behind and damaged no property whatsoever -- not even my neighbor's garden, which was overlooked by a tree that needed trimming. I was happy with the price, and the quality of work. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Outstanding work. The job was bid on a per-day basis. They estimated 3 days but scheduled 4. They were delayed a day due to rain, but completed more than I thought possible in three days. The workers were all knowledgeable and worked hard. I have had similar tree work done in the same area by another company. Kruljac's prices were comparable, but their work was superior. They work fast, they work smart, and they work safe. I have no reservations about recommending them

The removal was a great success, and went according to plan. I was very impressed by the professionalism and skill of the people involved in the work. It was a difficult and seemingly dangerous job, and they did beautiful work. Lots of people on the street gathered to watch the workers remove the tree. It was exciting to watch. It was a great relief to have the dangerous tree gone.

As a former corporate CEO, I've hired hundreds of vendors throughout my career. Kruljac Tree Service is one of the BEST company's I've ever worked with! The workmanship on the project and safety delivered was exceptional. The worker's were professional, well supervised and committed to providing the quality job that was promised us. It's refreshing to do business with a company that enjoys what they do and takes so much pride in their work. If you need a tree trimming specialist, do yourself a favor, HIRE THESE GUYS!!!

From start to finish, this was most pleasant experience for me. Within a day or 2 of my emailing him, Ryan came to bid the job in late November--told me up front that he was booked into January. Even though a tree company had assured me several years ago that my maple tree was healthy, I could see it was deteriorating more rapidly. Ryan took one look at the tree and gave me the news I'd feared was coming--the tree was not going to make it. I was impressed by how Ryan carried himself, so was willing to wait for him to do the work, and I accepted his bid. Within a week (early December), he gave me the date he'd be able to do the job--January 21. I laughed because what companies/workmen tell you 7 weeks in advance the exact day they will be there? But indeed they came exactly as promised on Jan 21! It was a pleasure to watch these guys work--a well-oiled machine (Ryan plus crew of 3). They had to extricate many branches that had grown out between telephone and lower electric lines, so this all done very carefully limb by limb. Ryan himself climbed high into the tree (all safety harnesses/ropes in place) to start quickly dismantling the tree, branch by branch. Then they felled the large trunk in a few moments, and after cutting up into smaller sections, removed them all quickly (some serious equipment was used for this). Pretty impressive. For cleanup, these guys raked my yard thoroughly and they also kindly took/shredded several piles of larger shrub branches that I'd cut in the Fall but hadn't disposed of yet. They started at 8 AM and finished around 12:30 PM. Ryan almost seems from another world--he is super intelligent, articulate, very willing to answer questions, clearly very highly skilled, really hard working/dedicated, and manages his crew in a very professional way. If you need to have any tree work done, you should hire these guys. If you have to wait, it'll be worth it.

These guys were really good. They came, they cut, they cleaned up & were gone. Fast & efficient. I had several cedar-type trees that were against the house and one had our phone & cable wires going through it. They had several guys who removed everything that was on the contract including the hedges in the back of the house. Everything was put through the chipper, the yard was raked up and the place looked great. I plan to use them again.

My neighbor and I were worried about more limbs falling and hitting my garage, his house, or things in our yards. I called three arborists and their diagnosis was likely verticillium wilt - fungal disease that gets into the roots of the tree and typically dooms them. I decided to have the tree cut down. My driveway was too narrow to accommodate a bucket truck, so it was going to be necessary to send a worker up the tree using climbing equipment. Ackerman didn?t give an estimate; they thought the job was too risky and predicted that other companies would ask $4000 for the job. B J Tree Service took too long to get back to me. Kruljac looked at my tree in September, gave me an estimate for $1800 and five hours of work. I agreed to it and they scheduled me for December 31. Yesterday they came and did the job. They completed the work in 4.5 hours, 30 minutes faster than their estimate. They did a neat job. One worker climbed the tree while two workers helped from the ground. They cut the limbs and then the trunk from the top down, in pieces about 5 feet long. For most cuts, ropes were used to arrest the fall of each piece and guide them down in a very controlled manner. This prevented any damage to my garage, which was just a foot away from the tree trunk, our fence, or my neighbor?s patio. They cleaned up well at the end of the job. Grade: A. I gave C?s to the two other companies I mentioned. (I don?t understand why there?s so much grade inflation here on Angie?s List. If 95% of all grades given are ?A? then grades carry almost no informational value. In my book, A=excellent, B=good, C=ok, D=poor, F=fail)

It was hard for us to see the tree get cut down but Kruljac Services did a great job. It was a tricky location (at the top of a huge hill) and they managed several unusual aspects- limited access and a fence in the way- very well. Everything was done quickly and put back together when they were done. The price was very reasonable, I was quoted a price over twice the amount we paid by another company. I would definitely recommend Krkuljac Services to anyone in the future.

Very well. Arrived early, worked hard all day in the rain. Completed work as per estimate. Cleaned up everything after. Would recommend in a heartbeat. !!!

Estimation was great- Ryan is extremely knowledgeable about his profession. The estimate was not our lowest (wasn't the highest either), but we went with Kruljac because it was clear to us that they knew what they were doing and we could count on the greenery on our property being handled in the best way. There were some tree issues we did not know about, and other trees that turned out to not be an issue that we were concerned about. Our first estimation appointment was missed (due to high demand for Kruljac) but it was rescheduled and no issues for the 2nd appointment. The appointment estimation window is large, but it was on a Saturday so no work was missed for us. We were given our scheduled date 6 weeks in advance- and they kept that date!! Wow- that's good project management right there. They have a long backup of work, so if you are in a hurry they may not work out for you. Plan ahead- they are worth the wait. All work was done exactly as laid out on the contract and within the timeframe given. All material was hauled away except for the stump grinding remains, but that was explained in the contract. We will be using them again for our next tree service.

GREAT!! The work was done professionally and amazed us and all the neighbors. A crane was positioned in the driveway at the front of the house and large branches of oak tree were removed over the house. I have had other companies do tree work at another house and never have seen the expertise that Kruljac Tree Service showed. Their price was actually one of the lower ones we obtained and some companies told us they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the right equipment. I know we have found the only tree service we would use in the future/ If we could give them an A++++ we would.

We needed some tree trimming and saw Angie?s listing for Kruljac Tree Services. A neighbor?s tree had branches growing onto our property, too high for us to reach. After we explained on the phone what we needed, Ryan Kruljac was able to come to our home promptly, and assessed the situation. He quoted us a very fair price for the job. He removed the problem branches and cleaned up the debris before leaving. Ryan is a ISA Certified Arborist. He was courteous, prompt and did a good job. I would recommend him for tree trimming and related services.

Kruljac Tree Services (KTS) responded promptly to my inquiry with a visit to my property. I was unsure whether the ash tree might be saved, and Ryan explained that it could not. It was inflicted with the emerald ash borer and doomed. He rapidly sized up the job and gave me the price, which never changed. KTS scheduled the job weeks in advance and kept the date. With a belay Ryan moved rapidly through the tree, cutting limbs, which he had tied off so they could be lowered gently to the ground. As he progressed the team fed the limbs into their wood shredding truck. The whole job was done in a bit over two hours. The rhododendrons and hollies under the tree were untouched. It was a perfect job. The crew could not have been more professional and polite.

I would highly recommend them. But, they are a small unit and don't have the manpower to exchange phone calls or emails, except for what is absolutely critical. We set up an appointment in July for them to come out in September. They did just as they said, but I wanted to change which trees that were on the initial estimate and couldn't get a hold of them. It ended up not mattering much, but if you're Type A like me, I would've liked better communication. But that's nit-picking.

originally scheduled for 4 months from now and was ok with this because of Jeremy's professionalism. i also liked that he genuinely seems to care for the trees as an arborist. he flat out would not remove a tree for me - which, actually, i liked. anyways, they had a cancellation and came out yesterday - knocked it out in 3 hours cleaned everything up like they werent even there. trees look excellent. good price also.

First I called Kruljacs Tree service for an arborist regarding a pine tree. He assessed the tree and gave me a reasonable estimate. The day that the tree was to be cut, Kruljac was there in a timely manor, the job was done faster than I expected with no problems at all. Everything was cleaned up and every Kruljac employee was very nice and worked in a professional manor. They totally respected me, my property and neighboring property. I would and have already recommended this company.

Provider promptly returned my call and came to the home on the day and time on which we agreed, provided reasonable (and lowest) quotation for removal of tree and associated stump grinding. Quote, subsequent communication, date of removal of tree and billing all conducted electronically which I really liked, as it provided an easily retrieved email trail of the interaction. Work was professionally performed, plants and mobile grill near tree were moved to prevent their possible damage, and site dressed and left very neat. Small job, professional treatment of the customer and in the conduct of the work, and job well done. I would definitely hire them again.
