I called and left a message - I received a return call almost immediately. When I described the problem, I was initially turned off because the man on the phone warned me that they would have to check all of my house wires and circuitry, along with the fuse box panel, and it could be a very long and extensive job. I told him that sounded like overkill to repair 4 outlets. I then explained that everything was new, due to a kitchen renovation less than 2 years ago. At that point he said that maybe they wouldn't have to take everything apart -that they would evaluate the situation when they got there. I nervously agreed, knowing that only my daughter would be there to supervise when they did the work. As it turned out, they addressed the specific problem, and took steps to make sure everything was repaired to be even better than before. Even though $217 is a lot to spend to get 4 outlets back, it was worth it.

The foreman gave a very detailed estimate of the work to be done. The crew that did the work was punctual, professional and very clean and meticulous. I plan on using King Electric in the future to finish rewiring our home. I would recommend this company to friends and family. They take pride in their work.

We are super pleased with the experience. We called and left a message last night, and they returned our call this morning. Since someone was going to be at home, they said they could come to our house later in the morning. They showed up when they said they would. They gave us the price and said they could do the work right then and there, and we gave them the go-ahead. They did a great job and totally cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly, courteous, and very professional. Going forward, they will be my first call for any electrical work.

I called to schedule an appointment to fix an outside light. Asked over the phone for a “ball park” estimate. The office couldn’t give me any figures. After taking the afternoon off from work the tech arrived and stated it would be $217 to diagnose the problem. Not fix it, but just tell me what the issue is. Why couldn’t they tell me this over the phone? Can’t afford over $200 just for a “diagnoses”.

King Electrical was excellent! The serviceman whom I spoke with over the phone, Tony, was knowlegable about the products and services as well as helped me to figure out the best course of action that would work with my schedule. Not an easy thing since I work in Ohio and it's difficult to take time off. The service-men who came out to the house (Harry and Glenn) called 30 minutes before the appointment to let me know they were on the way and showed up when they said they would! They were polite and promptly got to work and before I knew it they were done. The bill was exactly what I was told it was going to be and the estimate/advice about the circuit panel upgrade was knowlegable and informed. In this day and age its a pleasant surprise to find a company like King Electric. I can tell you that not only will King Electric be my electrical contractor in the future it is the only one I will recommend to friends and family.

Service call went very well from making the aappontment to the actual repairs. Electricians were competent and courteous

During the call to schedule the service the receptionist checked to see if an electrician was available that day to perform the service. They arrived same day and once onsite called me to confirm what I wanted before starting work. Work was completed as requested.

Electrician ("Glenn") was courteous, professional, and prompt. Charges were quoted prior to visit (including weekend surcharge) and work was completed at quoted price.

The box that the undergroud feeder cables go into was pulling away from the house. They charged $280 to put 2 screws into the siding to attach the box. About 20 minutes While there, I asked them to rewire a 4-way switch and they did. $190 for 10 minutes work. In fairness, they did what I asked, were prompt and professional. I DO think that the costs were excessive. But aren't most electricians?

Overall, King Electric did a very good job. They promptly responded to my email inquiry and were able to schedule service for the next day. I was given a window of 12-2pm for the technician to arrive. The technician called me that morning asking if he could come out early but I was not at home. I returned his call and left a message when I arrived home. The technician arrived about 1:30 and inspected the electrical supply to the gas fireplace to determine the power source. Once the source of power was identified he recommended replacing my double outlet receptacle with a split switch/single outlet receptacle as this solution would not require any cuts in the wall. The only downside to this solution was the technician only had a beige outlet/switch on his truck while all our outlets/switches in the house were white. We agreed to this solution, however, because the fireplace switch is hidden from direct view. I did feel the charge of $139 was a little steep for the service performed, however, the technician did very good work and cleaned up after himself. The whole job took approximately 30 minutes. I would use King Electric again.

King Electric ended up refunding my money because I was not satisfied by the price originally.

We decided to go with another company from Angie's List based on what we could get for our money.

The King Electric staff arrived when they said they would and were professional. I had a couple of other minor plug issues and they quoted me a price on the spot so I could decide whether I wanted to do it myself (an I am going to, saved me $100). I was able to use an Angies list coupon which kept the bill under $200. I would recommend King Electric and wil likely use them for some electrical work I plan to have done to my home in the coming months.

Work was done as promised and cost was as estimated. Workers were very polite and professional.

When I called for an appointment, the representative who answered the line was courteous and helpful. The techs were able to come out the next day (within 24 hours) to do an estimate. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They were very courteous and professional. They thoroughly described the work they would perform and I agreed to have the work done based on the estimate. The price was nearly 60% lower than the last estimate I had received. With only a few hours left for work to be completed, they did part of the job that day. They returned on my next available day and completed the rest of the job. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and helpful. Additionally, during their visit, the technician provided me with helpful advise on the best light bulbs to use for various appliations around my house. I would highly recommend King Electriic.

TECHNICHIANS ARRIVED WITH A FEW HOURS OF MY CALL AND FINISHED THE WORK IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THEY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINED THE SERVICE NEEDED.

They were prompt, on time and efficient.

They were amazing! They gave me a proposal and they realized they proposed more, so the price went down. They figured a different way to do the job so again the price went down. No one I have ever worked with has given me a lower quote from what they originally charged. When they got into the project they realized there was more work to be done but he stuck with lower quote. They were thorough and patient. They were very easy going. They were experts! I plan on using them for future projects!

We had the electric go out in part of the house. We had a different company come out and they couldn't find the problem. Kings came out the same day, and worked to try to find the problem. They found one burnt wire and we thought it was fixed. About 10 minutes after they left, the electricity went out again. They came right back and this time found the real problem and FIXED IT THAT DAY! My electric has worked great since then. They also told me of future work that needed to be done - which I knew about so it wasn't a surprise or like they were trying to drum up work. They gave me an estimate and told me to call, no hard sell or trying to schedule right then. The men were sooo nice, answered all of my stupid questions and even made me laugh. I would call them in a heartbeat for future problems.

Had power outage in half of house, which is controlled buy a subpanel and ties back to one breaker on the main electrical panel. They were able to come out the same day I called. They fixed the problem breaker and made adjustments so that the problem does not reoccur in the future. The price was a little high but it was same day service and there was a coupon which helped. I was very satisfied with the job they did and I did not lose a whole refrigerator/ freezer full of food.

I have used King Electric since 2002 for electrical repair work and have been satisfied with their work. They were prompt in making and keeping the appointment; the electricians were professional. I am completely satisfied with the repairs.

It was great and they did really well. Their price was about half that of other quotes. They were very effective in what they did and they did it quickly. They were courteous and communicated well and far better than another company that I had interviews with. They were here on the same day that we called. I would use them again if needed.

True to estimate, took a good look at the issues, arrived early, worked hard with a short lunch, and completed early. Zero complaints. Update 2013 Have used King several times for all kinds of work. Professional, prompt, excellent work and reasonable prices. Easy call to make.

They were professional and did an excellent job. Previously we were having a lot of trouble with light dimming and then bulbs jsut burning out all through the house turned out we had a smoldering fire in our circuit panel that was causing these issues. They improved our electric performance by replacing our panel, adding some circuits and redirecting others to their own circuit. They replaced the outside wires that were going into the house and installed outdoor power. Everything is great now no dimming lights and seldom do we have light bulbs burn out.

They were very responsive, coming the next day at the appointed time and completed the work to my satisfaction. The only problem that I had with their policy, is that they do not charge by the hour plus materials as most contractors do. They charged $149 for a "single circuit diagnosis" (finding the damaged wire) and an additional $49 for "connection repair" (installing 3' piece of wire and junction box). Total time was less than 1.5 hours and materials less than $10.
