Very courteous and professional. Reasonably priced and very responsive - I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Joe was in charge of my job and came up with great ideas during the planning stage, all of which he and Alan beautifully implemented.Both he and Alan worked very hard and treated me and my home with respect.When they left, my house was much improved because of their vast knowledge, creativity, professionalism and workmanship.This was a huge undertaking I had asked of Joe and Alan, and they performed all of it awesomely. I definitely would invite back King Electric for my next project.

Initially I was quite happy with King Electric. The work was done in late October, early November and the team was polite and did their job quickly. In June I needed to turn off a section of my house for a small electrical repair and the panel was mislabeled. Not a big deal but I called on June 17 at 3:00 pm. Understanding it was the end of the day right before the weekend I was content with the woman's response of, "Well it's not an emergency. We'll have someone call you next week." On June 27 I called them about the same issue (my issue in response time, not theirs) and was told that they could probably fit me that day between 2 - 4 but they would call me in the afternoon to let me know for sure. No phone call. No arrival for work. I called again this morning and said that I had been waiting and no one showed up or called. The man on the other end, proudly told me he was the owner and scheduler and that conversation never happened. I was not in fact on the schedule so it couldn't have happened. I told him I was aware I was not officially on the schedule but I was told I would be squeezed in. That is when he lost his temper and began yelling at me that he was aware I've called multiple times for the same issue that was not an emergency and that his team had other things to do that were more important than my little problem and that he didn't understand why I thought it was such a big deal to get this fixed. He had my information and would call me when things slowed down and he could schedule me an appointment. When I told him I was aware that it wasn't an emergency and had stated that on my original phone call and yesterday's phone call he disagreed that I understood it was an emergency. As I was writing this he called me back to schedule a service visit for today - for my issue that wasn't an emergency as he so kindly pointed out. I also informed him that I would be reviewing his company and he told I should be careful what I write.

Our range oven had been tripping our breaker the night before over and over, and we could not explain why. After flipping it over and over, we noticed that the breaker was really hot and we smelled something melting. We knew we had a problem and our range is brand new with no issues since we bought it 6 months ago. I called and spoke to the owner. He said they could be at our house within the hour and they showed up in 30 minutes. The electrician showed up and I explained the problem. He changed the breaker and checked the current. It was a little off, so we went in and looked at the outlet. It fell apart when we took off the outlet cover! He said I think we should change that too. We changed the outlet, and then he checked the current and the temperature of the breaker. Everything checked out as far as he was concerned. I was thrilled with the work done at our house. The 2 electricians that came to my Wednesday service call were pleasant enough. That is really all I can say was good. I had given instructions to their scheduler that my address is a townhouse, yet still the electricians stopped at the house before the townhouses and bothered the woman at that house. When they finally made it to my address, they looked at the fan, wrote down a model number, called someone to order the fan, and proceeded to leave. I was under the impression by the woman I spoke to upon making the appointment that the fan would be fixed the same day, but that was not the case. The electricians told me they did not have the fan, and since the business was moving, they could not come back until the following Monday. I worked monday, so we scheduled for Wednesday. In the meantime, the scheduler called me on Thursday to inform me that the crew could come install my fan on friday....the day the crew had said they were not working due to the move. Very odd. I said that Wednesday would be fine since I worked friday. When Wednesday rolled around, the electricians came back only to find that this new fan was too big for the hole. I guess no one had taken the time to measure, and I was told that my fan wasn't made anymore (10 ywars old) so this is the model they substitute for it and no one had complained. I then asked them how much this was going to cost, as I had not yet gotten any pricing on the install. $371! Just to replace the guts of a NuTone fan? And it could be 'much higher' if they had to replace the casing of the fan and go into the attic! Waaaaaaaay overpriced! I told them to please reinstall my broken fan and go. They offered to try again in a few days and I agreed at the time. After consideration, I called another company and they fixed the fan same day. It turned out that all that was broken was a plastic piece. It needed replaced, reinstalled, cleaned, and the fan runs like new. Cost was $100 total for the other company's service call and work. I will not be calling King Electric again. They did not seem to know what they were doing and tried to charge me and outlandish charge.

The job went very well. The whole process was good from start to finish. Justin gave me a very thorough proposal and walked me through the process step by step. He answered various questions I had as well prior to the job starting. The job itself was very smooth. Arrived right on time at 8am, and by 1:30pm, the new board, surge protector and outdoor meter were installed and my power was back on. Both of the installers were very thorough and could not have been easier to deal with. I've always believed you have to pay a little more for quality and this certainly holds true with King. I may have paid a few dollars more versus a few other shops, but I'm confident I've paid for quality. I would highly recommend King Electric.

The men who came were terrific. Right on time, professional, did quality work, worked with me to find solutions (it's an old home-nothing is easy!). They were even very informative in helping me understand certain wiring. The were very efficient, and Glenn went out of his way to try and solve a real doozy of a problem. I had very good communication with them from the time I made the appointment to a courtesy phone call the night before to confirm. The only negative is that I believe they put in around $40 or less worth of parts (2 men, 3 hours, including several inspections), and the total bill was $694. So, my math tells me that's $109/hr/man. Ouch.

came in as described. looked that the job. gave a price (pretty expensive). gave me the option for them to leave with no charge or start the job. friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

These guys are awesome. They arrived right on time, they were so fast and efficient. They're not the cheapest but the work was high quality. I would definitely use them again.

Mike, Eric, Joe, and Tony rewired my parents home from top to bottom. The house is over 100 years old and has beautiful wallpaper and carved baseboards that I did not want damaged. They were able to totally rewire the house without damaging a single thing. I chose them because they were the only company I thought I could trust with my beloved home. They worked hard, they were gentlemen, they did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very responsive, arrived on time, and professional. We had an issue and followed up with the owner and he corrected it within an hour to our satisfaction.

Confirmed phone number and it is correct. No response after several calls. What's up with that??? Used a different vendor.

Justin was very quick to understand the issue, explained everything very well and made some quick repairs, as well as gave good advice for how to reroute my bathroom exhaust fan to allow GFI protection. Very professional, would absolutely use King Electric again.

They were responsive to my original call and called that day when on the way. He was very professional and courteous and did a good job with the installations even though it is an old house with wiring that's showing it's age. Gave me helpful information on getting the wiring redone and I will definitely be calling them back soon to start on that project.

For years, both personally and professionally we have often contacted King Electric for our needs. At my own home, and dozens of clients. Staff that answers the phone. Tony started, now Justin 2nd generation in the day to day as well. I have always felt comfortable having them at work in my house or someone else's.

As always, their repair person was on time and finished up quickly and thoroughly.

King representative responded quickly and showed up when promised. The estimate seemed high and I could not accept it. Hired someone recommended locally and he did the work for about $300.00 less than King (and very competently as well). Not sure why King would be on Angie's List, because I thought the purpose was to help find low price, high quality. Clearly King is a company with a lot of overhead and therefore no doubt very competent staff whose work is mostly performed in professional settings largely unsuited to typical homeowner electrical scenarios.

It is easier to do a job from scratch rather than try to figure out what someone else did wrong. They patiently went through all of the wiring and pointed out all of the wrong, illegal, and dangerous wiring. They fixed it all very professionally. They rearranged their schedule to fix my kitchen wiring ASAP. I most highly recommend King Electric.

King responded promptly to my phone call, arrived as scheduled and charged per the quote. Work was completed professionally. The job was explained to me and they made sure I was satisfied before leaving.

Electricians came on time and fixed the problem I was having. They also gave me a quote on replacing the circuit box. I don't know how much electricians charge for this kind of service. I recently hired a plumber on a Saturday (emergency call) and they charged me $150 for an hour. $200 for this electrical service may be a reasonable charge, but to me it seemed a little high.

Overall great job and very pleased with the service. Only complaint I have is that the contractor left the old, discarded equipment in the house for us to trash. We recently moved to PA, not sure how it works up here or if this is standard. In our home state the contractor would remove all construction debris, trash, etc. That didn't happen this time.

After a small bout of miscommunication, everything got straightened out and the work was done to perfection. I have had other work done by this company and was very pleased with the results. Whenever I need electrical work done, you can be sure that I will call King Electric.

After finding King Electric on Angie's List, I contacted the company by phone and asked to make an appointment to have 3 ceiling light fixtures installed. Initially, the receptionist stated that the earliest appointment they had would be for Monday or Tuesday of the following week. With the holiday season approaching fast, I understood the company being busy. I advised that I would need a definite day and time because I work shifts. Shortly thereafter, the receptionist called me back and set up a "next day" appointment with one of their electricians in the a.m. I was very pleased to receive an appointment so quickly on such short notice. Glen arrived shortly after the scheduled time. The roads were snow covered and icy so I understand the delay. He put "booties" on over his shoes to keep the floors of my home clean. He was very personable and professional. He even vacuumed the floors after completion of the installation. In addition, I used the Angie's List $25.00 coupon to help defray some of the costs of the job. I was satisfied with all aspects of the job done by Glen in my home. I would definitely use King Electric again in the future.

King returned my call the day after I left a message. The woman I spoke with was friendly and helpful, and said they would call the next week to schedule the work. They called again to offer me an appointment to install my 2 light fixtures, and though the time wasn't ideal for me, I agreed as I needed it done as soon as possible. They were scheduled to come between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and I waited until 2:30 with no word from them. I had to leave at that point, so I called to tell them not to come. The person I talked to apologized and said that they were very busy because of the storm the night before. Maybe since mine was a small job, they put a priority on bigger last minute jobs, but the least they could do was call to let me know they weren't coming since I rearranged my day to accommodate their schedule. I expected better based on the previous reviews.

Technician was on time, quoted price up front and was very professional. Quality of work was excellent.
