Description of Work: I was very impressed with the quick response for both the estimate and getting the job done! Both workers were extremely efficient, polite and professional. They even went above and beyond by connecting a light fixture that was not on the proposal! I was very pleased and plan to have more work done by King Electric! 😀

Description of Work: After seeing tv ads and doing research, I decided to call them for estimates on several electrical projects involving recess can lighting installation, replacement, dimmer switches, etc. The initial scheduling is great. The electricians who came to perform the estimate were knowledgeable and professional. The estimate came back and while I expected this provider to be more expensive per other reviews, I decided to ask for a breakdown of the time/materials, etc. Despite having just provided an estimate, when asked for a breakdown I was told they could not breakdown each item and they use higher grade materials. I replied that I understood, but needed the breakdown. The next email came with the labor rate ($115/hr) with nothing else but the suggestion that I could purchase my own materials and forego the warranty. I replied that I understood, but until I knew the costs I couldn't decide which way to go and asked again for the breakdown of the materials/costs of the canned lighting. At that point, communication stopped. I have not received a reply and am left to believe that the markup is so bad that they aren't interested in disclosing it. Even if the price is an estimate because you don't know what will happen when you open a ceiling for example, I think it is highly suspect that the price of materials could not be provided. I offer this for other consumers to ask the same questions and/or for King to modify their policies.

Description of Work: My electric/power service pulled off the side of the house. I had this happen a few years ago and had it repaired, but it pulled off again and King Electric did a very thorough job of reattaching and securing it so that it would not pull off in the future. They had to work around a very large tree and were excellent. They explained the service rate up front so there were no surprises. Electrical work is expensive, so I knew exactly what to expect.

Description of Work: Needed to replace attic fan but they said it was too high for them and we should contact a roofer. There was no charge but if I needed an electrician I would call them.

Description of Work: Tracked down an electrical issue and made a temporary fix. The permanent fix requires exterior excavation work. The electrician was professional, friendly and, resolved the problem. He gave some good advice on how to get the bigger issue resolved.

Description of Work: Repaired several minor problems with GFCI outlets and master breaker panel. Quickly identified problems and quickly repaired them.

Description of Work: REPLACED 5 PLUGS 3 LIGHT SWITCHES 1 PULL CHAIN LIGHT AND REPAIRED DOORBELL.

Description of Work: I had miscellaneous electrical issues to be repaired. Everything was fixed and works perfectly. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Description of Work: We had two kitchen outlets that suddenly stopped working. I called King and was able to schedule a time that worked for my husband to be home after work. Two men came and inspected and diagnosed the issue - We needed to have an outlet replaced. They worked quickly and efficiently. Definitely will use King Electric again in the future.

Description of Work: King Electric fixed my outside post light, garage spot and grounded my home. I was very pleased with their service and would use them again. They were on time, and called before they came. I did not have to wait all day. Excellent Service!!!

Description of Work: The two gentlemen arrived in the time frame selected. They were very competent and professional. The whole job, which we were looking to have done that day, was completed in half an hour. It involved the installation of a new hood that was to be installed over our stove. We would definitely use them again
