Rebecca Kosko from Kimicata came to my house to take measurements and discuss my ideas for my front yard and porch area. She came back with a great design which I approved. Approximately five weeks later the crew arrived and completed the installation in two days. I requested they add exterior lighting to the design. They did, and it greatly enhanced the look of the front yard and house. I'm extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of the company.

They were great! They were responsible, creative, and had fair pricing. They were absolute professionals.

Kimicata is a very professional landscaping service. You pay for that punctuality and responsiveness, so they are not the cheapest, but they are reliable. Their prices have gone up in recent months, so be aware of that, but I've enjoyed working with them. They use an answering service and will generally call back the day of. I did have a year where they forgot to mulch my property two times in a row, which wasn't great, but I'll assume that there was some sort of communication mishap.

Service varies depending on which crew shows up. Quality control varies and day of service is not dependable. Overall not a great value.

The folks from Kimicata were friendly and fast. Once the plants we'd ordered were in, they brought a team out and got all the work done in a single day. All around, I was very satisfied.

Paul and his staff are professionals who do what they say. They are very responsive and reliable.

I can't speak to the quality of work done by Kimicata - my review is based solely on the fact that they stood me up. I made an appointment to meet with a landscape designer, and the time came and went without a word from the company. I waited several hours, and then called to see what had happened. That's when I was told that both landscapers had called off on that beautiful Saturday morning and no one remembered to tell me. One landscaper called me back very shortly and apologized, which was nice. Honestly, I don't remember the last thing said during that phone call, but I never heard back from anyone. No, "are you still interested?" phone call. No, "when can we meet?". Nothing. I've had a hard time getting the work done on my yard, and I've been looking since April. It's discouraging. I feel like no one wants to work hard anymore.

These guys are amazing from start to finish. A tad on the pricey side but worth every penny. From the initial consultation to the final product, nothing but professionalism and perfectionism. They made suggestions based on my desires and executed them perfectly. When products were not immediately available they rectified it in a very reasonable time frame. The actual landscapers were a fun, friendly bunch of guys who were very respectful to my property, leaving the areas spotless every night. They were accommodating when I ran into financial difficulties and accepted my final payment late with little repercussion. If you're looking for a perfect, manicured landscaping experience, look no further.

They were very professional and responsive. We had several people give us a quote but liked them the best. They gave us several workable options. We decided against doing the work because we decided to sell our house instead. If we need any landscaping work done at the new place, we will definitely give them a call.

Good. I appreciate that they call in advance to give me opportunity to mow the lawn before they arrive. I think they are expensive but I have not shopped too hard for another provider yet since the service is so good.

They come regularly. The price varies, it depends on what they have done. The last visit was a spring clean-up, feeding of the bushes, and other greenery. It was excellent, I have used them for years. They always clean-up everything. If I am unhappy with something, I call them and they will come out right away and fix it. They are very responsive. The gate in the back is open and they just come on their own schedule. I will continue to use them.

I contacted the provider via their website contact email on 4/3/15 to request an estimate on a landscaping project - adding a pond. They promptly returned my call 4 days later, and scheduled the estimate for 4/14/15 - another week. On the scheduled day, Rick arrived promptly and we discussed my project - he explained the approximate work needed and even took extra time after our discussion to sketch some details. He had advised at that time that he had some other estimates to finish up and that he anticipated having an estimate to my in a week. As of today, 4/24, I have not received the expected estimate nor heard a peep from Rick or anyone at Kimicata Brothers. This leads me to believe that they do not want my job, or any future work that I could have referred.

We have had a landscaper Kimicata Brothers and we have used him for years. They do what we want them to do barely. We are not thrilled with them, let us put it that way. They are overpriced. I don't know how to rate the price because I don't know what the competition is doing. The charge for grass cutting is about 45 bucks, each time. They are doing all the mowing, seeding and dressing the lawn. Frankly, I am disappointed in most of the people doing this kind of the work because it isn't supervised. They send out the young people and sometimes they don't just do a good job. On price, I think they are all expensive. They are responsive, he is responsive. They are on time and they are responsive.

Kimicata has always provided excellent service for the regular year-round lawn and garden care which I use them for. They have always been highly responsive, and Paul himself will return calls within 24 hours. He is extremely professional, friendly, and very pleasant to work with. This exceptional level of customer service and diligence also applied to the major work I had done last fall in replacing damaged walkways, steps and patios throughout my property. The team who worked on this project (Eric, Jason, Tim, and others) were all very attentive to any questions or concerns I had, and they all kept me apprised of the progress being made on the project. Customer service is clearly a focus at Kimicata, and it pervades throughout the entire employee base - Eric and others really were great to work with. In addition to excellent customer service, the quality of work is very high. I have been very happy with the work the team did, and I have received many compliments from my neighbors on the work that was done. Kimicata isn't inexpensive, but the ease with which it is to do business with them and the good work that they do make the cost very much worthwhile.

Check over a broken sprinkler head and turn on sprinklers. Someone was to stop out and look at a new section to be installed. Never showed. Extremely expensive for just turning on sprinklers.

Kimicata Bros did an outstanding job for us. The price was very reasonable, and the job supervisor communicated well and was thoughtful in making suggestions. When we did make some changes, added charges were very reasonable.

I contacted SEVERAL companies to try to get this job done as soon as possible because we were moving and had to vacate the storage shed at the previous residence so we needed this done so the new shed could be built right away. OF COURSE it is the peak of landscaping season! BUT Rebecca from Kimicata was the FIRST to respond, and in fact some of the companies (also Angie's List businesses) NEVER got back to me. Rebecca came out promptly, walked the property and provided quotes for 3 different jobs we were considering. We decided what to do and as soon as we made the deposit it was on their schedule. Several guys came out to look over the job and mark the site and they actually managed to complete the job almost 2 weeks sooner than they promised. We asked for advise on additional work and were very pleased with their suggestions. They were able to do the additional work while they were here. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE! WE WILL HAVE THEM BACK FOR MORE LANDSCAPING! Rebecca, Eric and their team of guys did a great job!

We were very happy with the full engagement. They handle everything very professionally. The design and estimate were very detailed. They came early and met a deadline I had for a family party. Everyone was very focused on completing the work as committed. Every thing was cleaned and all parts of the lawn that had been touched were reseeded as needed. The overall design was better than I had envisioned and is a significant improvement on our home. I wouild definitely recommend this company to friends and would hire them again myself.

Everything -- from the promptness of all communication to the quality of the work done to the spotless clean-up and pristine condition in which they left my property -- was outstanding. First contact was quick and easy. First visit and free estimate were as well. Communication was always prompt, and my questions were always answered clearly and helpfully. The work was done within the time-frame we discussed, and the quality of the work went above and beyond what we expected. They completed the work on site during a week when we were on vacation; when we came home, we were greeted not just with a new retaining wall but also with a spotless property. I've never seen any contractor do as good and thorough a clean-up after their work. An all-around excellent experience. Would definitely use again, and highly recommend.

I ended up not moving forward with the landscaping offer but Paul was the quickest to visit my home and give me a quality estimate. He was very nice and professional if I do move forward with work in the future I would probably call Paul again.

I chose Kimicata because it came highly rated on Angie's List. Unfortunately, the gentleman was overbooked which meant that it took him quite a while to follow up with us and visit the house. It also took them much longer than expected to complete the project, and the price was very high in the end.
