Amazing flexibility and was super attentive. The job wasn’t massive but treated me like a larger customer.

Brian had done drywall work in my garage a year earlier. I needed more work after I had some piping replaced. His team came in and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price. The garage was left clean and tidy and the overall appearance of the work done was satisfactory. I would hire Brian and his team again in the future.

They were professional, did a beautiful job, and put a decorative finish on that I loved so much I had them come back and do the rest of my ceilings! Very nice, did everything perfectly and I just want to turn off the tv and stare at my ceilings.

Our plastered ceiling was ready to fall in. We contacted Kalanish Plastering and Drywall and Brian came to our house the same day to look at the ceiling and issue us a quote. The same week, Brian and Scott started work on our ceiling. Scott even worked through the weekend so that our family didn't have to wait over the weekend without a ceiling in our living room. They did an impeccable job and the customer service was top-notch. We sincerely appreciate how quickly they responded to our inquiry and fit us into their schedule. They really surpassed all of our expectations; I so very highly recommend them to anyone who has plastering needs.

I called for a quote and Brian came out to bid the job, the bid seemed reasonable so I scheduled the work. The two man crew showed up as scheduled and found that there were two layers of plaster so there was extra work and trash to be removed. They also found that I had a slow dripping leak in my bathtub trap that was not enough to show through two layers of plaster but it had to get repaired before they could rehang the ceiling. After the plumbing was repaired I rescheduled the crew, they showed up and did a very good finish on the new plaster. Brian showed up the following day to remove the trash, look at the work, and settle up. Brian stuck to his estimate despite being delayed by the plumbing work and the surprise of the additional ceiling material. I really appreciate Brian standing by his quote because that seems to be increasingly rare.

Contractor was contacted around 10/25/13 about a top-coat plaster job. Contractor told me he was booking about 2 weeks out and scheduling appointments for estimates about 1 week out. He said he would contact me sometime during week of 10/28 to schedule an appointment to see the job for an estimate. I called him again on Friday of that week, since he never called and was I told by him that he would be out to give me an estimate on Saturday 11/09 and would call Monday or Tuesday to let me know the time he could be there. I never heard from him either of those days, so I called his phone on Thursday 11/7 and again on Friday 11/8 to see what the appointment time was going to be. I left messages both times and was never called back. Based on this, I would urge people to not use him since his reliability is in serious question. I can not speak for his work or pricing as I never got to that point. He never seen the job, nor did we meet, so if he decided that he did not want the job for any particular reason, he should of shown professional courtesy and cancelled the appointment or at least returned calls.

A week before the start date Brian contacted me to make sure that I was ready, and I indicated that I was. He was to meet me for a final walkthrough on Monday September 3, but he never called. On Tuesday I called him and he had a story about how he was out of town. We re-arranged a walkthrough for that evening and he never showed. On Wednesday I called him and he had a story about how he was just finishing up another job and how he was going to set up for mine the next day. We re-arranged a walkthrough for that evening and he never showed. On Thursday I called and he had a story about how two of his guys were out sick. We yet again arranged a walkthrough for that evening and he never showed. On Friday he stopped answering my phone calls or responding to my texts and I've not heard from him since. Do not use this person for your project if: (1) Your project is important. (2) You have a deadline. (3) You expect professionalism. (4) You have self respect. Brian totally flaked and left me hanging on this project, without even the courage or decency to call me and tell me he could't do the work.

I was definitely satisfied with my overall experience. Most importantly, I think they did a great job.

Brian came out promptly (within a day or so) after the initial contact. He slipped his shoes off before entering our house to prevent any tracking of dirt. He spent a total of 15-20 minutes reviewing the work that needed done. The work included attaching green board to our existing ceiling. replastering all walls, and building a bulkhead over two sets of cabinets. We already purchased the green board and he said he would use it on the job. He said he would review the information and get back to us. It has been about a week and still no return call from him. If he did not want the job that would have been fine with us BUT he simply could have stated it during his initial visit. If he would call, we would not hire him as initial impressions count and his not getting touch with us regarding an estimate in a reasonable time seems to point to future delays and problems down the line.

It went very well. I am extremely pleased with the result. My house was built in 1950 using traditional plaster that is swirled on the cielings and both swirled and textured on the walls. But, because some windows had not been installed or maintained correctly, I had plaster damage around almost every window -- some of it quite severe (down to the metal screen behind the plaster). George did most of the prep work and the cleanup and Scooter did most of the plastering and he was both very meticulous and very talented in matching the patterns -- which were actually different in each room. I had been hoping for a good and professional job but I was amazed and very grateful that he did such an excellent job. He matched the patterns exactly to the surrounding area reagardless of how that looked. Basically, there is no difference between how the walls look now and how they looked when my parents built the place 60 years ago. But, even though the repairs were done perfectly and he knew that they were, Scooter specifically asked me to look at each spot and let him know if I wanted anything done differently (whcih I didn't); They then cleaned up so you couldn't even tell that they were there (actually the place is probably cleaner now than it was when they arrived!). Left message and after more than a week they had not called back.

They were all right and the job was okay. They cleaned up some and picked up all the big stuff. It was dusty and I had to finish the cleanup. They didn't do the best; they didn't connect the smooth plaster at the top like the bottom. We had to fill it in. The price was okay. We would have liked it to be smooth plaster and they should have put smooth plaster around the bottom. It wasn't bad because we've had worse. They didn't finish around the edges. They were a little late; they were supposed to show up in the morning and they didn't come until the evening around 5 pm. He had five or six men with him and they were done in two hours. It may have taken them longer on another job.

They were great. They were clean, timely and punctual. They showed up when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. They did what they said they were going to do.

We were satisfied with the plastering. We will probably have to contact them again because of damage caused to some other plastering by all of the snow.
