Description of Work: They were a second opinion on a furnace question. The first company flagged my furnace and said that I needed a new one. JRB did a second inspection, did not flag the furnace and provided better pricing on a potential new furnace which I have not needed to purchase. When the times comes for a new furnace, I will get it from this company!

Description of Work: They were punctual and professional, however I ended up going with another service provider. In comparison, I do not feel that the serviceman with JRB did a truly thorough job in evaluating our furnace issues and attempting to address them. He never tested the electrical lines in my furnace, and he gave us possible solutions to the problem, but nothing specific. He said that we should replace the thermostat, or a ~$600 unit, or replace the furnace. Our furnace is not even 13 years old...so why should we have to replace it? We replaced the thermostat ourselves and it didn't actually fix the problem, but I wanted a second opinion before I shelled out $600. The second serviceman fixed the problem (electrical at the furnace) and corrected the pressure switches which were, according to him, removed and accidentally switched. I nor my husband touched the furnace before or after the JRB service person checked it out in November, and we have no idea what a pressure switch looks like. | |Basically, I felt the JRB repairman he could have done more to assess the problem. I guess you get what you paid for. I do not think they are a bad company nor have bad employees, they just did not do enough to address our problem.
