JOHN BUZILOW

John is upfront with cost, provides estimates, assists in selecting materials, ideas, etc. John is a friend and neighbor and often it's not recommended to hire friends to do work, but we feel entirely confident in John. He is trustworthy, and always comes through. We will continue to hire John for future jobs, some of which are installing new front entry doors and helping us redo an interior hall and ceiling. He is fair, timely and a pleasure to deal with!

This is actually the second major project for which I hired John. Three years ago he replaced the shingles on both of my roofs. As someone who is just a weekend warrior with limited tools and carpentry skills I need someone whom I can trust when it comes to major renovations on my house. I need to be able to trust a contractor's dependability, his competency, his honesty when it comes to pricing and his professionalism. John meets and often exceeds these traits. John returns phone calls promptly. He shows up at the agreed time. He gives honest and fair estimates of the work to be done and the cost for the project. There are no unwelcome "surprises" as John lets you know the scope of the work ahead of time and if unexpected costs do arise he advises you of all options to deal with the situation. He completes the work on time and when he finishes a job you would never know he was there as he cleans the area thoroughly. I would say trust is John's greatest value.
