Jim Wadding Washer & Dryer Repair

Jim offered free advice on how to maintain our washer and dryer and avoid unnecessary repairs. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, and efficient. We would use him again without hesitation--highly recommended.

The washer is still loud when I put it on and he never answers the call when I call him back. The noise was immediate. He was supposed to be the best. It was a bad experience.

I contacted Jim and got an immediate call back. Due to my work schedule an appointment was set up for the following week. Jim showed up as scheduled. He was extremely professional. He diagnosed the problem with my dryer and fixed it within 30 minutes. I would definitely refer Jim to friends and neighbors.

I contacted Jim Wadding on-line through Angies List and he returned my request immediately. Due to my work schedule the appointment was made 5 days later. He came on time as scheduled. He was prompt, friendly and most important repaired my dryer in 30 minutes. I would use this provider again.

Mr. Wadding was a breath of fresh air when it comes to working with servicemen. He responded promptly to my request, he arrived on time, and investigated our problem in a professional manner. Our dryer is now working perfectly and we are so grateful! It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Wadding. We will call him again when the need arises.

I left a message and Jim called me back promptly the same day. He was available to come over the next day. He was punctual, very professional and during the repair he diagnosed what was wrong. He explained it to me and answered all the questions I have had. He fixed it in about 45 minutes and ran a few tests. He gave me a few tips on how to better maintain my dryer and save on future repair costs. All in all, it was a great experience and I plan on using his services again.

I called on a Friday and Jim showed up the next day. Quick, reliable, friendly and although he could've charged me more (I'm not familiar with the innards of a dryer), the final total (including travel, part and labor) was $100. What service call is that low these days?! Will recommend, and call if needed in the future!

Jim was right on time, and went straight to business. He assessed the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He was professional, knowledgeable and polite. The cost was very reasonable as well. I will be using him in the future.

Jim came to repair my washer very quickly after my call (a day or 2). He came in the evening because I think he has another job during the day. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. I will definitely call him when my washer or dryer are not working.

on time. He took the dryer apart in a matter of a few minutes and found that it was the belt. Cleaned and shopped vac the dryer before he continued to fix it. He then oiled it and checked to see if anything else was wrong.with it. Everything was okay. Replaced belt and put everything together. The job was complete.. He was very good and knew his job well. I would highly recomend him.

Jim has all the quanities an contractor should have. Great work,reasonable,good advise -returning your phone calls I have a dryer again! He did not charge extra for weekend,travel time any of that bs. Excellent. Punctual, professional and informative. Dryer runs perfectly. The cost of the part was $90+. I found his service costs very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim.

When we called them for our dryer, they came the day we called which was a Saturday that was awesome. They come out today. So, we called them back hoping we get the same response, but he was able to come the next evening which was still good.

Jim has repaired my washer machines as long as I can remember - always courteous, price is right and instead of replacing parts - not only an expense but takes time to get the parts - he usually has a work around solution to save me money. In this instance, the spin cycle stopped because of a switch that was malfunctioning. Jim offered to either replace the part or disconnect the connection (the only function of this part was to stop the washer when you pick up the washer lid). I opted to remove the part - washer is as good as new! Jim has no problem coming in the evenings or weekends which makes it great since I work during the day.

I called Jim on Monday 4/28/2014 about coming to check on my dryer, which wouldn't start. He said he'd come at 7:00 pm the next day. He showed up promptly at 7:00 the next day as promised. He diagnosed the problem very quickly; the dryer needed a new fuse. He replaced the fuse and was on his way within a half hour. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Jim to anyone in need of a repairman for their washer or dryer. The service was exceptional. I had called 2 other service repair companies, prior to contacting Jim. Their service call rate was between $79 and $129, which did not include parts and labor. Jim's service call rate was below each of the above-mentioned rates and he only charged for the replacement part.

He came the day I called on a Saturday. He didn’t’ charge us extra for a Saturday. He did a good job, quick, and efficient.

It went very well, I don't know what caused the problem, but it was no longer not spinning and not draining. He took the washer apart and put it back together again and was not able to find anything wrong.

I have an old gas Whirlpool dryer that came with the house. Over the past 2 months it began making a lot of noise. Jim was highly praised on Angies list so I called him up. I had to wait a couple days for him to return from a trip, but it was well worth the wait. He came on a Saturday, was very nice and informative. He popped the dryer apart like a pro, and we could see that one of the internal wheels was damaged. He showed me a worn out belt that he suggested I replace but didn't pressure me at all. The wheels usually come in kits of 2, but since I only needed one he took half off. He fixed it all, oiled up all the parts, and gave me a ton of great tips! He was done in under an hour. I'm extremely impressed, another great find by Angie's list!

Jim first came around March 11th and replaced a fuse in the dryer. The dryer worked great for about two days and then stopped working again. Jim came back within two days cleaned the timer and so far it has been running great. Jim did not charge for the second visit. We will use him again in the future.

Gave Jim's contact info to a friend for a dryer repair (bearings and heating components). She was very happy with the outcome. She said he was fast, communicative, and friendly. She would use him again and recommend.

The washer stopped functioning halfway through a load. We called Jim (have previously used him for a dryer repair) and had a response from him the same evening. He came out the next day and found that the washer motor had broken down. Options he gave were 1. Order a new motor and come back again to install it and we would pay the cost of the new motor plus labor. 2. Buy a new washing machine. Jim clearly explained the costs involved in both options. We chose to buy a new machine. He then gave us great advice on what to look for when buying a new one. Jim Wadding well deserves all the high ratings he's received. He's responsive to phone calls, arrives promptly, and his prices are fair. he's very professional!

It needed a new part that he had in his truck so he installed the new part and the washer is working like it should.

He is excellent. He is always able to fix it or repair it. He shows up promptly and returns phone calls. His prices are fair and he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He also stocks most of the parts in his truck and has the necessary equipment to repair, and rarely has to make a second trip back out. I have been with him for about 5 years now.
