Wonderful!! Called around 10am and my call was returned shortly after noon. Jim was able to be at my house around 7pm that same evening. He was there when he said he would and my dryer was fixed, cleaned, oiled and inspected before 7:45. The dryer works great! Jim's response to your call is very fast and he is very punctual and professional. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

I emailed Jim on a Saturday and he responded promptly, scheduling to come fix our washing machine the following Tuesday evening. He diagnosed the problem over the phone, based on my description. He brought the part needed to fix the machine and described what he was doing, as well as how to keep our machine going for a long time. He charged $40 for labor and $40 for parts. Overall he was very helpful and it was a good experience.

Jim played phone tag with me, but was persistent. When we connected, we set up a time, he arrived on time, and was polite and professional. He only has evening hours, which was great for me, since I didn't have to lose any work time. He took a little time to diagnose my washer's problem and told me my fuse was blown. He fixed it and showed me how to fix it the next time. He could have replaced the whole control system, but he didn't, he just did what was needed. He was done in less than 40 minutes. I'd call him again in a second.

Mr. Wadding returned my call app. 2 hours after I left a message for him. He said that he would be at my house towards the end of his work day. He arrived at about 4 pm, fixed the dryer, and carefully and patiently explained to us the kind of things that we should do to prolong the life of the dryer. He was great!

Jim arrived promptly the evening of the day I called. This problem was not something he had seen before but he appeared to be able to handle it. He took the information necessary to order the part and called 2 days later when the part arrived. Jim returned and replaced the glass and hardware taking care to pick up the shattered glass as best he could. The greatest cost was the replacement part.

Jim answered my voice mail within 4 hours and came to look at our washing machine the same day (weekend evening). He assessed the problem within moments and had it repaired within 30 minutes.

He was able to schedule me for an appointment the following evening. He was able to diagnose the problem (our exhaust vent was improperly installed). Additionally, he took apart the dryer, cleaned it out, checked it for for wear, and oiled it. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself.

Jim called me right back when I initially called him. He came out the next day, right on time. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. He's very no-nonsense and knows what he's doing. I second what all the previous good reports had to say.

Jim arrived promptly and went efficiently about his work. I was interested in understanding how the dryer worked and he cheerfully narrated, as he took it apart and showed me how the various parts functioned. He brushed out the major chunks of dust, inspected the belt and oiled the bearings. Then he tested the ignition and exhaust draw. I was concerned that there was still a fair bit of dust inside the machine; this did not worry Jim but he was game to let me vacuum out the cabinet before he reassembled it. He tested the machine as he was reassembling it and again when he finished to ensure it worked properly. As he was leaving he also gave me several tips on how to use both my washer and dryer to avoid maintenance problems down the road.

Very well. Jim was very friendly, prompt and honest. He knew what was needed immediately and went to work. Just as others on this list had promised, he gave us a rundown on ways to extend the life of our machine.

Our dryer stopped working about two weeks after we moved here. Jim called promptly and was there the next evening (he probably would have come earlier if we'd needed), quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Also gave us some hints on making sure the dryer life was what it should be. Great price, great work, very satisfied!!

I have a Maytag Neptune front-loading washer that wasn't working after getting water in my basement. Another repair person "wouldn't touch it" as the machine was considered "too complicated." We called Mr. Wadding, who called back later that evening and came the next day (Saturday). He diagnosed the problem (water had affected the computer board that drives the machine), picked up the parts (computer board and corresponding motor--$275) and spent 2 hours installing the same on Tuesday. The washer works like a dream. He's a nice guy, and extremely courteous, and took the time to show me what had gone wrong and how the repairs were done.

HE returned my calls quickly and performed the repair within 24 hrs.

I called Mr. Wadding around noon today. He returned my call around 5:00 and promised to be here after 8:00 this evening. He was very prompt. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had the needed repair kit in his truck. He quickly repaired the washer and gave me some tips about how to extend the life of the washer. He was very pleasant, courteous and efficient. I will definitely call him again. I was pleasantly surprised that the fee for the service call was just $38.00, a real bargain with today's gasoline prices.

Mr. Wadding suggested that the problem could be that the tub or pipe into which the washer was draining might not be draining properly. The exact scenario he described wasn't the problem, but his suggestion made me look at the drain hose and realize that it was cracked and clogged. Replacing the hose (for $14.95) fixed the problem.

Jim was prompt in returning my phone message and came the same night at the time he said he would. He took apart the dryer, cleaned out years of accumulated lint. He didn't have the part he needed, but returned two days later as he said and fixed everything including installing a vent kit. He was very pleasant and friendly and did a great job.

After years of lint building up under the drum of my gas dryer, I had a flash fire which left clothes smelling smoky. I knew enough to figure it probably needed cleaning but didn't want to dismantle the machine myself, so I called Jim. He came the same day I called, did the job quickly and efficiently, and gave me some good tips on keeping both the dryer and washer working properly.

He was great. He was reasonably priced and flexible about scheduling. He came on a Saturday on the ''how's now?'' system. (called when he had time to come, and we'll see if it's good for us) We didn't have to stay home from work or get up early on our day off or sit at home to wait for an appointment. He advised us that it would not be cost-effective to fix the washer, suggested a stop-gap method to use the washer, and gave advice as to what new washer to buy.
