Description of Work: Fixed my washing machine.

Description of Work: I have used Jim before and he's always honest & reasonable. This time he told me that my washer could not be repaired. So he disconnected all of the hoses and pulled the washer out from the wall so it was ready to go when the new washer came. Jim is a good guy.

Description of Work: Jim advised it's probably not worth fixing our dryer due to it's age. He provided some suggestions on what to look for in a new dryer. He was clear, punctual, and I believe trust worthy. He made himself available on the weekend include a Sunday afternoon call.

Description of Work: He came out to fix a dryer that was not heating. After taking it apart and testing all the components he determined that the main circuit board needed replacing. That part was quite expensive and not really worth replacing in a machine as old as mine. He gave me recommendations on what to look for in a new machine. He was very professional and helpful. I would definitely use his services again if I had need for repairs.

Description of Work: He replaced a part in my dryer. He knew exactly what the problem was, from our phone conversation, and in a few minutes, my dryer was working. He tested it for a while to make sure it was running properly. Great service and honest man. Yes I would call him again

Description of Work: Jim called and asked if he could come early as he had a cancellation. We were happy he could come earlier. He checked the "easy" things first, but I had already taken care of these things. When the burner failed to ignite completely, he pulled it out for closer examination. It appeared that when I had replaced the valve coils, I tightened the clamp on one of them too much. Once that pressure was relieved and the dryer was reassembled, the burner seemed to work fine. We are very pleased with the work.

Description of Work: Jim Wadding was professional and helpful. He recommended our not repairing our washing machine as it would be more economical to get a new one. Obviously, he could have tried to take advantage of us and suggest repairs. Later, when our machine eventually gave way, he promptly returned our call, answering our questions as to what type of new washer to buy. He was knowledgeable, and shared it with us. i would use him again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: Washer stopped working and was full of water. Called Jim and he came the next day and knew exactly what the problem was and was able to fix it simply and quickly and give me some good info/ advice on how to keep my washer and dryer lasting longer and in good shape. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again and recommend him if the need should arise again. Had an excellent experience!

Description of Work: Tub wouldn't turn. Wasn't a belt so I was worried that it would be complicated or not fixable. Jim fixed it quickly. Very satisfied. Will recommend to others.

Description of Work: I call him and we played some phone tag because he had more trouble reaching me. He came at night because he came from across town and we were THRILLED. Honest man who has been in the business for a long time. Son of repairman. Solved problem and saved me money. Would definitely use him again. Forgot to mention it took my dryer 90 min to dry.
