We have their maintenance plan, too. They're always an A. They've been good on price, and they've been able to make appointments very quickly.

Got a call the day of the appointment letting us know the tech will come in today. Got a call letting us know when the tech was en-route. Upon arriving the tech did his work, explained the issues, what needed to be done and what else he suggested. All went well and we are very happy with the work done.

We learned that our air conditioner was completely fried, and we were counseled well about the necessity of buying a new one instead of repairing the old one, due to new laws concerning the refrigerant's make-up. I was very pleased with how knowledgeable and honest the technician was. He could have done the repairs for $2000+, but if we needed work in the future, nobody would be able to fix it, so we're very happy that we hired someone who is going to give us all the facts up-front. All we ended up paying was the diagnostic fee, which was very reasonable, considering the service we received.

We used a company that had served the previous owners because we had a credit with them, so that’s why we did that. They had put in a new air conditioner for us as well. I do not remember the price. They called before they came. They were timely in their response. They did what they said they would do. They did a good job. Very responsive. They called us before they were going to come and said, "We will be there in 15 minutes," and they were. They did exactly what they said they would do in a timely manner. They are very busy, so you do have to schedule. But once you got it scheduled, they are very responsive.

I have been using them for a very long time.

We don't use them for anything else, because we haven't replaced our furnaces since we bought the house, and that was in 1992. They are local, and they show up when they say that they are going to show up. The price was fine. It was not shocking. They showed up, so they were responsive.

They are fine. They do great work. They show up on time. They do what they said they are going to do, and they charge a reasonable price. I have been using them for years.

I had them when I first moved in and I just kept them to do my yearly maintenance. They're professional, they take care of my house, they care about how they come into my house, they clean up behind themselves, they explain things in terms which I understand, and they take care of any concerns that I have. That's why I've always kept them to come every year, to make sure everything is running okay. They're always very punctual.

Good to work with, they always give a heads up when they are on their way from their last job.

JA Sauer is a very professional business. Everyone is super friendly and efficient in helping to get appointments schedule. The Techs were on time and very professional and super clean in the process. I have never had a bad experience w/this business through the years. Everyone is great to work with from the telephone customer service office staff to the management to the technicians.

Work went smoothly. AC unit was up and running for the summer. I did discover, however, that I needed to be proactive for the furnace tune-up. I was under the impression it would be done before the heating season but when I called in November, I was told the scheduling would be done in January. That seemed a little late. They did, however, call in January and the inspection on the furnace was scheduled and completed satisfactorily.

They charge a yearly fee. I am on a contract with them. I think the yearly fee is a little bit high. The service is very good, excellent. In the back of my mind I am thinking I should look for someone else less expensive. In the meantime I will continue to use them. They are very neat and don't mess anything up.

A technician from another company had diagnosed a cracked drain pan and advised replacing the whole system. I called J.A.Sauer for a second opinion before I spent all that money. Sauer's tech poured a lot of water into the drain pan which did not leak to the floor, making me wonder why the other tech did not try this simple diagnostic. And then Sauer's tech found the leak to be coming from the pump, which the other tech dismissed with a cursory check. I appreciated that Sauer's tech went so far to disprove the previous diagnosis despite his obvious disbelief that that could be the problem. He fixed the pump and took time to verify it was no longer leaking.

We agreed to use the provider only after speaking directly with them on Friday, when we were told they would come on either Friday or most likely on Saturday. We sat at home all day Saturday in 90 degree weather with two small children and an A/C that was not working and the provider did not show up or ever call us. After leaving a message with their answering service, I finally received a call back after 4 PM in the afternoon. But it was too late to do anything. I understand it was a busy day and they didn't get to us, but somebody should have contacted us to tell us there was a possibility they would not get there and to allow us to reschedule or find an alternative. The only positive was that they at least apologized on Monday, and we were able to get a refund of the service purchased through Angie's List, but that pretty much did nothing as far as getting our A/C fixed or sitting in our 90 degree house for a whole day waiting for them to show up.

Young, polite and knowledgeable technician arrived on time. He worked for several hours and did an excellent job. Frankly, we expected to pay more. Good company. Excellent service. We highly recommend.
