Still having problems with furnace. Repair man is coming againg. I will wait to see the final result.

l liked what they did. They were the ones who had put the furnace in. I did like the part that did put the water heater in, fixed it and did a lot of stuff on that. I would use them again in the future if need be.

It was a good overall experience. What stood out was that it was a thorough bid process. They did the heating and air conditioning calculations. Their price was slightly higher than the next bidder. They were a close second. With their equipment, it was tough to sort through and make apples-to-apples comparison; I think it was more their equipment price than the actual labor price. I found an equally good contractor to actually do the work. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Good free estimate actually took the time to do a proper load calculation. They were willing to match the price of a slightly lower bid, had a high quality efficient carrier system installed. Runs flawlessly.

They were prompt and punctual. They called before they came and accommodate even on a short notice. They were very professional and seemed courteous. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Their quote was between $5600 and $7100. The guy who came out was excellent. He was great and terrific. He spent about an hour at the house and sent the proposal by the next business day. I would definitely use their services in the future.

Overall this was a good experience. The salesman was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I wanted to hire them even before their price came in, so when they came in with the lowest price it was an easy choice for us. The installation had a few hiccups. So far they have been back twice to fix minor mistakes, but they are always very responsive when I call them and fix the problem promptly. I plan on calling them anytime I need HVAC work done in the future, and would recommend them to anyone who is currently looking for a good HVAC contractor.

We brought them back a year after their original estimate, asking them to compete with a bid from another company. While Sauer's price was higher, we felt we were getting a better product and had more confidence in their installers. Although the price had gone up in that time we were able to negotiate close to the original estimate. Only days after we had set our install date for the end of the following week, the blower died on our old furnace. Fearing the below freezing nighttime temperatures, but not wanting to service a furnace that's about to be replaced, I called J.A. Sauer and asked them if there's anything they can do to help. Although they said they were fully booked for the next 9 days until our install, they said they would see what they could do for us. They called back in about an hour and offered to finish our measurements immediately, and complete our installation the very next day. They arrived exactly on time the next morning and were courteous and quiet throughout the job. Because of their work to accommodate our need, we never had to suffer the extra costs or wintry cold of our broken furnace. The finished product appears to have been done with good craftsmanship, we are extremely happy with their work. We're so thankful we picked such a good company. Our only regret is that they didn't suggest a humidifier as part of the install. I now realize that I should probably have one, and could have taken advantage of the 30% tax incentive if we had that done as part of the original installation.

They were on site for 2 to 3 days and did an excellent job.

I had a contract with them for years and it was tricky the way they worded it. So I ended up paying for stuff that I think I shouldn?t have had paid. That was the only thing about them that I didn?t like, but they were very good in terms of their work. They were on time as well. I would probably not use their services again just because of their contract.

The technician did a thorough inspection of system. Patiently and thoroughly answered the myriad of questions that we had Gave us notes and instructions (he wrote some and we wrote some). Added certain key instructions on our furnace where maintenance actions would be required. Made it clear that JA Sauer was always available for additional questions or assistance with heating and air conditioning issues. Generally left us confident in our use and maintenance of the furnace and HVAC and satisfied that JA Sauer is an excellent support and resource.

He is very honest and I trust him a lot. He is professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of his work is very good and I have been satisfied with his service.

They did excellent work. The personnel who came up and did the work were on the top of the line. I was very pleased with those people. They were responsive, punctual and professional.

Strike one: Upon arriving, the technician asked me if I had the operating instructions for the furnace (!) which surprised me because it is a VERY common national brand. Strike two: Technician had to telephone *the office* and describe the problem in detail and await instructions on how to proceed. Strike three: After the diagnostics, the technician gave me an oral estimate of the repair cost as a total amount, not broken down into parts, labor, etc. When I questioned the estimate, he said the price could be reduced if I agreed to the company's service plan. I told him the estimate was far more than I anticipated so I paid him for the service call ($75) and said I would have to think about it. The very same day I was able to locate another Angie's List contractor who was also a certified technician by the furnace's maker AND a BBB member who did a wonderful diagnostic and repair for less than 50% this guy's estimate!

The experience with them was very good. They were very reliable. I had been searching for a company and no one called me back. I saw this company advertised on a billboard, and I called them. He was out within a day, and within two weeks we had the whole heating and cooling system installed. Everything went smoothly. We just had one little leak of water that was coming from the humidifier that they put on the furnace. I called them again, and they again were out within a day to take care of that problem. The men were very neat and nice and took time to explain everything.

It went wonderfully. I interviewed with three other companies and I chose him. The timeliness, the way he explained things to me, made me feel comfortable to have them in our home. They took out the old system and removed it. It took less than a week to complete the installation.

They were excellent. They are reliable, they showed up when they said they would and they did great work. I would highly recommend them.

We've used them in the past for our heating and air conditioning work. They are always very thorough and efficient. My husband did get other prices and theirs was reasonable.

They were really good and were priced competitively. I was very impressed with them and was very happy with using them. They came when they said and it took them as long as they said it would. I would use them again.

Excellent. Prompt per schedule and efficient, neat and thorough. Signed up for their Customer Assurance Program that covers heating checkup in fall and air conditioning checkup in spring.

We couldn't be happier, Joe Chmielewski recommended just the right furnace for our needs and the install took just one day. Now that it's December we appreciate it every time we step into the garage. We can work on the cars and perform other tasks in the garage in comfort.

I do have a yearly service contract with them. I think that they are prompt and I feel as though they are honest with me about what is going on with my units. There were no surprises and there is nothing that I do not like about them.

Joe Chmielewski was our sales representative. He took his time and checked our existing equipment and explained what he recommended for us. He reviewed all of the options and gave us prices on 6 different combinations. Overall, Joe was thorough and direct, though we did feel a little subtle pressure to go with the higher-priced units. We had 5 contractors give us estimates and Sauer was the highest cost.

We initially had Beverly H&C come and give us an estimate which came in at 5686.00. We got another bid from Sauer and they told us it would be 3750.00 for a better heater, with additional work done. The salesman Gregg was very helpful, he recommended a good model (not the most expensive) and very responsive to our questions and concerns. The workers were punctual even in miserable weather and were very professional. Overall and excellent job and we are very happy with the work done.

Company call back time was good. Repair man that came to; check out the problem, was nice, showed us what had gone bad, he was the same repairman to come back, and install the new heat pump.
