Description of Work: We had completed an energy audit for our 100+ year old home. The audit revealed several issues related to the insulation of our attic, walls and duct work. We contacted Andy and he provided his recommendations and estimate for the work. His thorough knowledge of building performance enabled him to make sound recommendations at a reasonable price. As a result, we were able to prioritize the work we would complete. The work was completed in three days. The staff were punctual, protected the conditions of our home and completed the work on time.

Description of Work: We have a 120 year old Victorian and we wanted to add insulation to improve comfort, reduce outside noise, and reduce our heating/cooling bills. Andy did a great job of adding enhancing the existing insulation in our attic and putting insulation in the walls. Andy is really practical, he focuses on improving the overall performance of the building structure, and has a lot of experience of older house construction methods which is very important. I can not recommend him enough, he was clean and has a great passion for his job.

Home energy audits that include infrared analysis and blower door air infiltration testing. Insulation AND air sealing measures for attics, exterior walls, garage ceilings, basement rim joists, and crawl spaces. The primary insulation that we use is cellulose insulation. We are fans of cellulose insulation because it is incredibly effective, less expensive than spray foam or fiberglass, sustainably sourced from recycled newspaper fibers, and completely non-toxic.
We do not do whole home / new construction spray foam insulation.
