State of the art company. Erik came and gave me a free assessment. As a responsible home owner, I also got a second opinion after he came. What the other company said when they came to take a look mirrored pretty much exactly what Erik told me. This is not a company out to scam you into buying things you don't need. Brian and Justin did the work at my house. They were friendly, courteous, respectful, hardworking, positive and communicated extremely well. They let me know what they were doing every step of the way. They are great employees that Insulwise should count themselves very lucky to have. This company does really good work! They don't just pump in the insulation, they carefully SEAL the surface of the roof beforehand and don't cut any corners. All of the insulation in the world isn't going to work if there is a big crevice for the cold air to go through! This work was not cheap- but that would be the case nowadays with any company you choose. It was not significantly more expensive than any of the other companies I got quotes from- but I can say that the quality of the workers and materials make it well worth any very small premium that may be attached. I can give this company my absolute HIGHEST recommendation. Most people in the area concur with me and having gone through this wonderful experience, I wholeheartedly agree! Insulwise for the win!

The team sent was great. They worked in a professional manner. Crew chief Pat explained what was going to be done during each phase of the workers. Zak and Cody are good workers who did a thorough job.

Great communiction through the process. Only an 8 year old house, wish I did this sooner, big difference with air sealing and cellulose in the attic, more stable temperature between upstairs and downstairs.

Very thorough on the explanation of the features and benefits of their services (a hour presentation). We ended up choosing a different company based on the products offered. The sales guy followed up and we told him we went with someone else. He was very unprofessional and felt combative with his responses where he accused us of choosing the "cheaper" option. He continued to bash the company we chose by saying they have had to "fix" that companies work. I understand asking why we went with another company to try to improve their business. But to talk poorly about another company just because you did not get the bid is unprofessional. I am a Sales Manager myself and would be embarrassed if any of my sales consultants reacted this way to not making a sale.

I contacted Insulwise to perform some attic insulation work in my home. During the initial estimate, I mentioned a few problem areas that we've noticed, and Erik was able to diagnose these quickly and suggest solutions that would target each of these problems. Erik took detailed photos and explained each solution on the proposal, so I felt confident that the suggested work was necessary and impactful. The quote we received was very competitive with other companies that we evaluated, and the modular proposal allowed us to view each work item separately which is appreciated. The production team did a great job - they explained everything thoroughly, showed me the work they performed, and left the area spotless when they left. They showed me the blower door test results before and after the insulation so I could see the tangible impact, which we have already noticed an improvement on. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of work and communication from Insulwise - I would highly recommend them!

My overall experience with Insulwise was excellent. The presales person showed up on time, did a thorough review and explained an overall strategy for meeting my requirements. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to other estimates I received. The work was scheduled quickly and the work was completed on time. Financing was easy, and the direct pay eliminated my out of pocket expense. My home is noticeably more comfortable - I'm very happy with my decision.

We stumbled upon one of Andy's videos on Youtube when researching home insulation. Unlike many of the sales pitch style videos, we found it to be informative. Couple that With the energy audit being of no charge, we gave the team a ring. Not long after we met with Brady, who performed our audit with approachable professionalism. Fast forward a few weeks and we had a crew performing the work, who were equally friendly. Even Andy made a brief cameo. All throughout, it was pleasant. Since then we've noticed a 4°F+ delta when comparing before and after data. Way easier to cool and stays cool longer. Fairly priced. Knowledgeable workforce. 10/10 - would insulate again.

Terrific crew, thorough, efficient, and professional. Cannot imagine any company doing it better. Insulated attic/third floor and basement sill plates. Installed roof vents. My highest praise is well deserved. Original bid was $8200 but crew informed us that they found some areas in which work did NOT need to be done so bid was reduced by about $700, a pleasant surprise and likely not found with many companies.

Started with Erik coming to the house. Walked around and gave me all my options very professionally. Went over the quality of work and products being used. Was very impressed. The crew was also great and very kind. Did a fantastic job keeping things clean and doing quality work, which is very hard to impress me most times so that was great! Can’t say enough about them as a whole and will use them again!

I cannot emphasize how pleased we are with the work that Insulwise completed in our home. From the initial consultation with Erik to the completion of the job Insulwise was exceptional. This week we had blown-in insulation installed, Aeroseal and spray foam added to our rim joists. I was so impressed with both crews that worked here, Zach, Cody and Jake showed up for 2 days, working non-stop to blow the insulation into our walls and attic. I could not believe the amount of work that they did. Zach was crawling into spaces that only a child could get into. The 3 of them were so polite and accommodating. Although the work was messy they left my home very clean. Brian and Will performed the Aeroseal in the furnace and spray foam of the basement. They were so respectful and friendly. Once again the work area was cleaned. All my questions were answered thoroughly. Andy, the owner, came out at the end of the job for the installation of the attic vents. I admire an owner of a company that meets me after climbing off my roof! Andy also checked all the work that was done and even double checked on a part of the attic that did not require work. During the process I had to call the office to check on a few things and Sarah was so helpful. We were lucky that it was in the 60's all week so the guys could comfortably work but I can't wait until it gets cold again to actually see the difference that this will make! Thanks!

After we invested in a whole house energy audit by Rhett Major, the Energy Doctor, he referred us to Andy Haak and Insulwise because "they will do it right". Insulwise insulated our third floor (ceiling, knee walls and floors), and sealed and repaired the leaky duct work of our HVAC system. They also sealed the rim joists in the basement of our 100 year-old house. Andy and his team were responsive, they worked hard, they were good communicators, and they cared about getting details right. More importantly, when something went wrong (our drywall ceilings were not up to code and were water damaged, and cracked under the weight of the insulation), Andy was honest and worked hard to help us get the situation repaired and to have new insulation installed in a timely way once the ceilings were replaced. The longer we worked with Insulwise, the more they earned our respect. We highly recommend them!! We're looking forward to warm winters and cool summers and lower energy bills in our insulated house.

The team at Insulwise was friendly and accommodating with what was a relatively small job doing spray-foam insulation on the rim joist at my house. Erik took the time to explain how everything worked and provided a comprehensive quote to bring my house up to the modern standard for insulation - which was no small feat (crawling in knee walls and going into the attic). I will definitely be using Insulwise for future projects and would absolutely recommend them going forward.

The production team did a great job, showed up at the time and days that they said they would. They worked quietly and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day of work. They kept me informed of their progress and showed me pictures and videos of the work done in the attic. They also took the time to show me the blower door test and the difference in values achieved. Hoping to see some reduction in the heating and cooling bills, and also relieved to be rid of our mold issue.

Insulwise insulated our attic last fall and I am very pleased with the result. At first we saw no impact on gas bill either dollars or therms. I call Columbia Gas and learned that we had an overpriced gas supplier. After we switched suppliers, our monthly budget dropped from $254 to $86!! My experience with Insulwise was fantastic, start to finish. The initial consultation with Brady was extremely informative and in fact opened my eyes to some underlying problems. My wife and I received a few other estimates for this project but Insulwise offered us the most comprehensive and tailored package for our home and that played a big part in our decision. The project went super smooth and scheduling the installation was easy. The crew was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable, and they kept the work area clean throughout the job. They were just pleasant to have around and were incredibly nice to our two dogs which was a bonus. On the third day of the project the owner, Andy, reached out to inform me of a problem on our roof with a broken radon exhaust outlet that was allowing water into the home. I was unaware of the issue prior and was thankful that they discovered it. Andy then came out to the job the same day and fixed the problem himself before a rain came in that night. This truly showed me the kind of company this is. One that you can depend on and can trust will get the job done correctly. We are so very happy with the work from Insulwise and our home is much warmer and more comfortable after using their services. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
