IMLING CERAMIC TILE

Mixed reviews Pros: Got job completed even under a 'tight' time frame For the most part, everything was done well, tiles straight, even, although given the the floor had a slight slope, tried to level it out but turned out slope was still present but somewhat reduced. Cons: Biggest disappointment was he did not return to fix a problem that was noticed about 3-4 days after job finished, despite promises to 'stand by his work.' The tile around a heating register was cut to short, and when the register cover was installed, there was a 1/2" gap around the entire register. Despite numerous phone calls that went unreturned or were answered with the usual putoffs (check schedule, being away, etc.) it was clear that he wasn't returning - tried contacting him over a period of 6 months. I had to get someone else and cost me more money. As it was, Imling was partially paid ahead of time, and in full immediately after the job was done.

Matt was recommended to us by a neighbor. From the start he was very helpful with suggestions about tile and fixtures for the bathrooms. We wanted Quartz counters for the vanities in two of the baths but had trouble finding Quartz that wasn't extremely expensive. While looking we found a marble alternative but Matt very nicely explained that this type of marble was not suitable for use in a bath because it can scratch and is soft so it can crack. We appreciated his honesty and guidance. He was also very patient during our search for the counters. We also had an issue with two of the baths being back to back so there was no access to the pipes to put a new tub in the main bath. Matt explained that he would have to go through the ceiling in our first floor powder room in order to access the pipes, but he would fix the ceiling and we would not be able to tell there was work done there. He did a great job and the ceiling looks perfect. Matt was very careful and very neat when he worked in our home. He cleaned up each day when he was finished working, even the garage where he used his saw. We found Matt to be very professional, honest and helpful. He does excellent work. We would highly recommend him and we are thrilled with our bathrooms.

Mr. Imling was recommended to me by my plumber Mr. Flaherty. The plumber took out an old tub/shower and the surrounding tile and put in a new tub. Mr. Imling worked with the plumber on timing and came to put in new tile around the shower. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and did a beautiful job! I love my new tub/shower and will be sure to use Mr. Imling again if I need tile work done again.
