The sales process I believe could have been explained better, but the install crews were amazing, and the production aspect was flawless. Devan the project manager helped iron out a hiccup in the sales process, and made working with home genius a pleasure. Highly recommend this company bask for Devan to be your project manager and he will walk you through everything.

The company was fast, efficient,and responsive. Devan the Project Manager answered my call on the weekend and was there on Monday to remedy the situation.

Faster than I anticipated. Project manager and sales rep were really nice, personable, and explained everything. Workers were polite and self sufficient.

Excellent work. Their service was above and beyond. A knowledgeable and professional free estimate given by Daryl. Lauren the production coordinator promptly arranged everything needed. Roofing materials delivered,dumpster,permits and work crew. The project manager Walter kept me well informed and saw to every detail. The crew's thorough cleanup of my property was especially appreciated. I went from leaking roof to great looking new roof in less than 1 week. Well done. I would highly recommend and would use again.

Company initially agreed to come out and provide estimate. I made them aware during the initial call that I have underlying health conditions that prevent me from allowing anyone in our home during Covid. I specifically stated that all that is required is the estimate with documentation of services provided as I have other estimates and familiar with the products to be used. They agreed to those terms. They called back the day before the visit and said it doesn't suit there needs because they couldn't come in the home to provide the 90 minutes presentation.

From the very first conversation, they were professional and responsive. Explained everything in great detail and answered all questions. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get the job started during the middle of winter, but surprisingly got on the schedule and work started within 2 weeks of confirmation. It's been about 3 weeks since they finished, and the only thing that needed extra attention was a gutter needing caulking (it was leaking on a rainy day after installation). They sent the gutter crew out within 3 days of me calling, and they sealed up the leaky gutter. Very happy with their work.

Brent and his team at Home Genius are awesome. Very responsive, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. We heard from them within a day of requesting a quote. Brent had an online meeting with us to explain the install, options, prices, and answer any questions we had. We were happy with the quote and decided to move forward. The timeframe was set for the end of July but they were able to move us up and we had them here and done by the end of June! The total instal took only about 3-4 days. Our roof looks amazing! We actually have had neighbors stop and ask who we used because they were so impressed with Home Genius’s work. From beginning to the end of the project these guys were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be using Home Genius for any future home improvement projects.

Blown away with the professionalism and workmanship of this company. Complete breath of fresh air and much different experience than any other contractor that I’ve worked with in the past. From start to finish, everything was handled in a timely and thoughtful manner. I couldn’t be happier with the results and my decision to choose Home Genius Exteriors to replace my roof.

We thought the one side of the roof (the other side was ok) had a hole only about 3ft x 5ft. It was not. Instead of bailing out on us, they repaired the roof. The WHOLE roof. The did an amazing and the price was well beyond fair! Although they have big jobs coming up, they still took time to fix our roof. I will definitely hire this company for a few other jobs I have in lined up. I’ve included before and after photos of this amazing work!

This company continually cold calls me for work even though I have said I have no work and asked them not to call. The caller wouldn’t tell me how he got my name, used a Glenshaw phone number but said he doesn’t live in Pittsburgh or PA, would tell me where else ‘they’re doing work in the area’ and kept saying ‘I don’t have to tell you’ every time I asked a question. I am steering clear of this company and will tell everyone I know to do the same.

All went very well considering there were weather delays, a global plague and a ruptured appendix. Everything was always secured and water tight before they left for the day. Brent went above and beyond to match my drip edge and vent pipe housings to my roof color.

Excellent!! Job was done on time as scheduled. Friendly service, they helped me pick out the right color for my house.

From start to finish I had a good experience with Home Genius. When Daryl first came to my home in January to evaluate and give me an estimate he didn’t mind my questions and explained everything I asked about. He even was great and worked with me when I had to reschedule the date he came to do the appointment twice. I felt no pressure and appreciated his patience. He was even available and responded when I texted a couple times with questions. I really appreciated that to start with the contractor, Brent, touched base with me to update me on planned start date given many weather/rain delays on their work this spring. The crew was polite and when I showed up home from work early one day, they were quick to clear my path to the garage of supplies and any nails and very nice and apologetic. Brent offered to and did update me on progress on the roof with texts and a couple photos which surprised me and was appreciated. The crew finished the roof in just a couple days. They cleaned up everything and checked with me to avoid damage to my lawn when moving one of the garbage collection bags. I felt the price was definitely reasonable for the job. Not the cheapest I heard, nor the most expensive. Overall I felt a very good value and I’m happy I chose them and would (and already have) recommend them to friends!

I have dealt with several home improvement companies and individuals. Home Genius Exteriors was a breath of fresh air. They were pleasant and professional from the initial phone call and meeting to the installers. They presented all of the information, answered all questions and everything was done within the window of time that we discussed and agreed to. I am very pleased with the results. It was a pleasure to be able to meet with Daryl Faulkner and Home Genius Exteriors. Although I did not act immediately on getting my roof replaced, I appreciated his honesty and kindness while addressing my needs and concerns in regards to what was going on with my roof. He was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and conveyed that in a way in which I clearly understood as well. This was extremely refreshing to see in the home improvement industry. When I do decide to get my roof replaced, I am certain I will be working with this company in the future.

have had issues in the past couple of years with my 5,000 square foot 25 year old roof with 2 layers and knew that it was time to start shopping. My house is about 70 years old and I have had problems with leaking, ice dams, in-proper ventilation of the attic space, rotting of the decking etc. I had consulted with my handyman and he advised me to google "reputable roofers". I narrowed my search to three and received a couple of estimates from respected roofers but ultimately selected the estimate from Home Genius Exteriors. I am very happy with my decision. My house is in Philadelphia however I am thrilled to hear they are expanding to Pittsburgh! Their crews are excellent and will treat your home as if it were their own.
