This company continually cold calls me for work even though I have said I have no work and asked them not to call. The caller wouldn’t tell me how he got my name, used a Glenshaw phone number but said he doesn’t live in Pittsburgh or PA, would tell me where else ‘they’re doing work in the area’ and kept saying ‘I don’t have to tell you’ every time I asked a question. I am steering clear of this company and will tell everyone I know to do the same.

All went very well considering there were weather delays, a global plague and a ruptured appendix. Everything was always secured and water tight before they left for the day. Brent went above and beyond to match my drip edge and vent pipe housings to my roof color.

Excellent!! Job was done on time as scheduled. Friendly service, they helped me pick out the right color for my house.

From start to finish I had a good experience with Home Genius. When Daryl first came to my home in January to evaluate and give me an estimate he didn’t mind my questions and explained everything I asked about. He even was great and worked with me when I had to reschedule the date he came to do the appointment twice. I felt no pressure and appreciated his patience. He was even available and responded when I texted a couple times with questions. I really appreciated that to start with the contractor, Brent, touched base with me to update me on planned start date given many weather/rain delays on their work this spring. The crew was polite and when I showed up home from work early one day, they were quick to clear my path to the garage of supplies and any nails and very nice and apologetic. Brent offered to and did update me on progress on the roof with texts and a couple photos which surprised me and was appreciated. The crew finished the roof in just a couple days. They cleaned up everything and checked with me to avoid damage to my lawn when moving one of the garbage collection bags. I felt the price was definitely reasonable for the job. Not the cheapest I heard, nor the most expensive. Overall I felt a very good value and I’m happy I chose them and would (and already have) recommend them to friends!

I have dealt with several home improvement companies and individuals. Home Genius Exteriors was a breath of fresh air. They were pleasant and professional from the initial phone call and meeting to the installers. They presented all of the information, answered all questions and everything was done within the window of time that we discussed and agreed to. I am very pleased with the results. The color match was perfect and the installation was efficient and neatly done. I highly recommend this company.

It was a pleasure to be able to meet with Daryl Faulkner and Home Genius Exteriors. Although I did not act immediately on getting my roof replaced, I appreciated his honesty and kindness while addressing my needs and concerns in regards to what was going on with my roof. He was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and conveyed that in a way in which I clearly understood as well. This was extremely refreshing to see in the home improvement industry. When I do decide to get my roof replaced, I am certain I will be working with this company in the future.

have had issues in the past couple of years with my 5,000 square foot 25 year old roof with 2 layers and knew that it was time to start shopping. My house is about 70 years old and I have had problems with leaking, ice dams, in-proper ventilation of the attic space, rotting of the decking etc. I had consulted with my handyman and he advised me to google "reputable roofers". I narrowed my search to three and received a couple of estimates from respected roofers but ultimately selected the estimate from Home Genius Exteriors. I am very happy with my decision. My house is in Philadelphia however I am thrilled to hear they are expanding to Pittsburgh! Their crews are excellent and will treat your home as if it were their own.
