Higgins Painting

The job went very well. Don promptly came to the house after my initial call and I had my estimate in a day or so. Once I gave them approval on the estimate, they scheduled me within a few weeks. The entire job took 4 days. Chuck removed the wallpaper on the first day and the next day Tom came in and started texturing the walls. Once the textured walls were dry, Chuck followed with the painting. They arrived every morning on time. Both workers were very polite, professional and neat. I was very impressed that they do not ask for a down payment. They don't take payment until the customer is completely satisfied with the job. I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the professionalism displayed by everyone that I dealt with. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

They did a good job. I was pretty happy with it. They definitely wanted to do a quality work but sometimes the attention to detail wasn’t perfect but overall, it was what I expected. I would say it was quite good and they were very responsive to problems and they fixed the problems very good.

They were very good. They were nice guys. They were on the lower end of the bids that I was getting, but I think 1500 Dollars for 3 rooms is a bit too much. We set up a time and date for them to come out and give me the estimate, and he had actually gotten lost when coming to my house, because the town next to us has the same street. He called me 10 to 15 minutes earlier to say that he was lost, and so he kept me informed. I plan to use them in the future.

The painter assigned was sadly sloppy. He left behind streaks of paint on the wood floors and on the door knobs, stops, and hardware. I even found paint spilled near where his car was parked in the driveway. It took me hours to clean up after him.

They were very professional. They make sure that they complete their work.

Definetly would use their services again and recommend them to anyone. Definitely earned the A rating.

I was very impressed by the quality and professionalism displayed in all aspects of the process. The job looks great, and was completed with the absolute minimum disreuption to the day to day activities of the household. I would cheerfully recommend to anyone looking to have a wonderful job done at a fair price.

Our only complaint is that they did not include in the original price what I thought should have been reasonably included, even if it had raised the price, and that is the doors of the rooms that were painted. Then also did not put back a wooded "cover" to a hole in our bedroom. They came back and did put it back on the open space, but within a few weeks it fell off again, and so we have a big hole in one room. In their defense, they used the "board" that the prior workman had put on to cover the opening, but unfortunately the board just wasn't big enough. They are very professional and good, hard workers. I am also unsure of the dates they were here to do the work.

One day 8 hrs painting bathroom and foyer and hallway, no ceilings Took 7 1/2/ hrs. All good

Painter showed up on time. He worked none stop to get the job done in a timely manner. Unfortunately some areas needed numerous coats which meant he had to work over the allotted time. He did not mind working over and I agreed to pay for it. He did an excellent job and I would use him in the future.

Scheduling the appointment went smoothly. They were very friendly and came out and out did the work right away. Also, they were on-time and cleaned up well after themselves.

Wonderful! Professional and easy to work with...finished work looks very nice. They delivered all that was requested on a large difficult job. (Two story rooms, a lot of trim work, and whole house wall paper removal)

Painter was very professional and hard working. He came early, skipped lunch and worked the full 8 hours we had paid for. The company kept good communication with me about when the work would be done and they did as promised.

Was great. I was reluctant to spend the money but when I saw how great it all turned out it was worth it! Don was extremely pleasant to work with and they were able to get us done by our moving date!

It went smoothly. I had moved out of town by this point, so Cory Higgins interacted mainly with my real estate agent. She had no complaints. I saw the completed job and it was very professionally done. He was very cordial and professional in all the interactions I had with him (primarily by email). Please note that the price I listed is MY out-of-pocket total cost, which included: materials ($135), labor ($360), AND my Angie's list deal for 8 hours of painting ($300). Without the Angie's list deal, I'm not sure how much it would have cost.

They were very pleasant, but their pricing was way out of line. The individual who came was very nice and everything was fine. He asked questions and he gave me a quote which was unbelievable high. They were friendly and the did what I asked them to do. They were very responsive and pleasant to deal with.

I was upset that I wasted my time waiting for him to show up.

They were very professional and responsive. They came out quickly after I contacted them for a quote. They explained how the work would be completed and gave suggestions on what would be needed to be done. They also answered my myriad of questions after the quote. They were also available to do the work very quickly after the quote. I was very pleased with service, I simply chose a different company for this job. Price was reasonable. I will definetly get a quote and look for their service in the future.
