Gerry and his crew were very nice, professional, on time, and worked clean. Did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. Overall exceeded our expectations.

Work was excellent. I am a civil engineer and I understand the requirements for good earthwork projects and concrete placement. Gerry's workmanship, attention to quality, and the way he manages the job so the inconveniences are absolutely minimal is excellent. I have hired Hermann twice more since first job.

This company did an excellent job in the work we hired them to do. The owner, Gerrry and his team members are all true professionals. Gerry came to our home to do the measurements and he answered our many questions, he also offered good advice on how the finished project would enhance our property. After checking that they were licensed, I contacted them. They gave an estimate over the phone during our first phone call, and provided proof of insurance willingly. The owner does the work himself, and his team is a responsible and careful one. They seem to start early and end late. Gerry was extremely clear about what would be done and kept his word. They were polite and professional. There was unexpected rain in the middle of finishing the cement, but they immediately brought out a tarp to cover it. I was quite impressed with them, and will definitely contact them again when the rest of our sidewalk starts to crumble.

The man that came out and did the estimate got his tape measure out he looked official enough. Now I know I'm looking at about $15,000 to $20,000 . After about 15 minutes of talking about what I wanted he said it was something he could do for sure. I chatted with him for a few more minutes he mentioned that he was a company owner. He just wanted to get back to his house and write up an estimate for me he'd send it in my email said they have my email address through Angie's List. Guess what? no response after about 3 days I called his answering service. I left a message told the receptionist that I was very interested in having the work done. She assured me that he would get back to me soon. About five weeks after that I walked out on my front porch and I see Herrmann Construction working across the street from me. They didn't even give me a price. I think they were scared to do the work. If you have a job besides maybe a little minor excavation these guys might not be for you. If somebody asked you to come to a job the least you could do is give him a price even if you bid it high. It shows total lack of gratitude when you just fall back on the old excuse "we're so busy" well good for you I hope that keeps up. Oh and by the way this gentleman called me I didn't chase him down. Waste of time.

Very professional nice guys. They were prompt. The work was well done and look beautiful.

Not well. The patio work was very good; however, our lawn was mostly destroyed and not repaired, as per the original estimate. Also, our sprinkler system was destroyed. The cost of repairing the damage to our property totaled $1200, but Mr. Herrmann only offered to pay 1/4 of the cost, only after threat of legal proceedings.

From start to finish, incluiding digging out anf rebuilding the patios as they ad stated they would, includig moving boulders and rock and reoalceing themas needed. \Clean-up with straw and grass overlayment and repositioing of fences and gates. manycompliments have succeeded their work.
