The service was more than exceptional given the number of questions around design options, pricing and services. Given that our garage door prefereces were very unique given the nature of my home, a standard garage door would not fit my home. The company provided multiple examples, possible partner vendors and eventually created a custom door for my home. Even when the garage door was installed, the technicians spent the extra time to insure everything worked perfectly. Now when my garage door operates, you hear nothing but silence instead of the previous "rattle and roll". If you take the chance and work with this company, the service provided will far exceed your expectations. You will be treated as a person, not just another potential sale. Each question will be answered and ever concerned addressed. Upon the finish project, you will know that you received a true value.

The estimate visit was pleasant and informative. The installation vist went very well. Mr. Henefeld was professional and pleasant. He took the time to demonstate everything and make sure I was comfortable using the new equipment.

This company was very responsive from the quick estimate, sending the estimate in writing soon after the visit, patience while we prepared for the job, and fast scheduling for the installation. The entire job was completed in one morning. The work was done professionally, and the installer took the time to explain the programming that would be needed. The door looks great and the overall experience gave me confidence that I chose the right company.

My first call was with Patty (the owner) she was knowledgeable and offered good information. A few days later paid a visit to their storeroom which was clean and neat and it was obvious they took pride in their business. There was no up-selling, if I didn't need it, she told me. She acted with integrity. There was only one person that did the installation, he was on time and did a good job. Cleaned up everything and even fixed the garage door motor light without asking. Henefeld was very professional and very responsive at every step of the process. There was a 1 week delay that was not Henefeld's fault, the door was damage at the manufacture. I was advised and the appointment rescheduled.

The gentleman (I think it was "Mike") came out and he was fabulous. What a personality -and so helpful. He immediately corrected the problem that another company was trying to charge me $600 for. We have had no issues at all since he's been here -my husband wanted to try to fix this on his own which I knew wouldn't happen or be done correctly so I called these folks. So glad I did!

I called Henefeld because I noticed my neighbors had used them, and I obtained a business card from one of their technicians. (I subsequently read some favorable reports on Angie's List.) I found Henefeld to be somewhat disinterested in completely assisting me. The woman who answered the phone began her response by instructing me how to reset the keyless entry. When I stated I had no access to a high ladder to reach the opener mechanism near the ceiling, she then said a service charge of $65 would be required to send a technician. I was not able to schedule an appointment; I was told that a technician would phone from the road (apparently in conjunction with another appointment) and then come to my house. I called Henefeld on a Tuesday; I was told the technician would call "later in the week, or one day next week" -- essentially a 10-day window when I would be expected to be at home. Much to my surprise, a technician called the next morning at 8:30, stating that he could be at my house "sometime between 12 and 5 PM" that day. I told him I had an appointment that afternoon, and could not guarantee I would be home. At that point I decided to find another service company.

We received three estimates from providers and decided on Henefeld based on the quality of the LiftMaster product. They promptly returned our call, provided an estimate within two days and completed the work within a week. The service technician called to confirm the schedule, was very pleasant and professional and thoroughly explained the operation of the unit. We are very pleased with the work and the product.

Great! Gentleman from Henefeld was professional and knew his stuff. We had done a lot of comparison shopping and were considering going with a bigger company. So glad we didn't do that! Our garage door is way better in comparison to friends' doors from bigger companies. The core is not Styrofoam, so it's solid and the installation is tight! No rattles or anything. The garage is so much warmer that we're considering using half for a workshop. As far as the installation, I wouldn't have even known he was there except for the fact that he cleaned up beautifully! He even swept my garage! I just can't say enough about Henefeld--it's a great company. They even sent us a thank-you card.

They explained everything to us about how to care for the pulleys and rails to help keep the openers running the best it can. They also had the job done faster than we thought it would take.

Did not have the work done by them. Due to lack of follow-up. Had to call several times to get the person who gave me the bid to call me back so I could ask some questions. I was always told he would call me back... he never did so I had to move on.

The company did exactly what I wanted them to do on time.

They were prompt and courteous but did not put a light bulb in the new unit so that when I came home I had to stumble in the dark. Also, 2 months later the spring broke and they charged me for another call ($100). Also, they used existing wiring which nullifies the warranty.

The first technician examined the door and gave me several options beyond simply replacing the broken cable with no pressure. He was knowledgeable and made the repair quickly. The opener also did not shut off due to a faulty switch. Again, he gave me several options, including repairing it myself, but I opted to have the unit replaced. A second technician arrived the next day and completed the job. He was less experienced, but courteous and did a good job.

I called this company because of the Angie's List rating. They were listed as servicing my area. When I told the receptionist my address, (Forest Hills) she said it as "way across the river" (????)and "too far away" for their company to service, because they already had plenty of work in the South Hills. She did provide the name of another company but I do not see it listed in your reports, so I hesitate to call. The whole exchange with this company was very strange.

EXCELLENT! INSTALLER (ONE) ARRIVED ON TIME (A BITTERLY COLD DAY, TOO) AND SET TO WORK. HE WAS EFFICIENT AND CREATED A MINIMAL MESS WHICH HE CLEANED UP. HE EXPLAINED THE OPERATION OF THE OPENER INCLUDING A COUPLE OF TIPS FOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE.

THEY WERE FANTASTIC AND THEIR PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE. THEY WERE VERY NICE GUYS. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN WITHOUT A DOUBT.

REPLACED TORSION SPRINGS ON GARAGE DOOR WHICH HAD PREVENTED DOOR FROM OPENING. BECAUSE MY CAR WAS INSIDE THE GARAGE, THEY MADE THE EFFORT TO REPAIR THE DOOR THE SAME DAY I CALLED. IN ADDITION TO REPLACING THE SPRING, THEY SERVICED AND LUBRICATED THE EXISTING OPENER AND HARDWARE AND GREATLY REDUCED THE NOISE OF THE SYSTEM. I WAS VERY PLEASED ON ALL ACCOUNTS!

THE INSTALLATION WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH LOW HEAD ROOM. IT SURPRISED US THAT ONE TECHNICIAN PERFORMED THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION. THE END RESULTS WERE GREAT. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS RESPONSIVE IN SCHEDULING AN ON SITE VISIT FOR AN ESTIMATE. THE SALES REP WAS PUNCTUAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND PROFESSIONAL. THE OFFICE ACCOMMODATED OUR SCHEDULE FOR THE INSTALLATION. THE TECHNICIAN ASSIGNED TO THE INSTALLATION CALLED PRIOR TO HIS ARRIVAL, WAS PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, PERFORMED QUALITY WORK AND CLEANED THE AREA BEFORE DEPARTURE. WE OBTAINED SEVERAL ESTIMATES PRIOR TO CHOOSING HENEFELD.

ESTIMATE WAS ON TIME AND FAIR. WORK DONE WAS AS QUOTED. PUNCTUAL, VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, NO HESITANCY AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK. EFFICIENT. REMOVED OLD DOOR AND CLEANUP WAS GOOD. I AM VERY SATISFIED. PRICE INCLUDES THE DOOR AND RE-FRAMING AND INSTALLATION.
