NICE TO HAVE THE AREA CLEANED VERY NICE EXPERIENCE INDEED

A woman and man came to the door did not identify themselves I had to ask who they were. I was told that she would have all the materials and equipment to clean. She did not have a proper equipment including brooms and buckets mops and cleaning supplies for hardwood floors in heavy duty Grease . I had to supply all of those. She did not have a foot ladder footstool or did not ask for one and I found her standing on my couch and on a kitchen stool. I ended up having to write out a list for her. I actually didn’t mind that because everything on my list was done. It took her over five hours to complete the job. And the gentleman left her here came back and had to finish with her in order to get everything completed. She spent a lot of time looking at her phone. Overall the work got done satisfactorily but I would not have this service back again.360

They cancelled twice exactly at the time the person was supposed arrive. Just a text. And rescheduled 10days later by which time we had already moved out. I was told my credit card would not be charged till the services were provided but it was.I had to cancel and decline the transaction. I left a feedback on their website to contact me. No one has done so yet. Extremely unprofessional!

The man seemed very nice and eager to come give an estimate. Did not make arrangements as my aunt gave the name of someone she used and we had to go that way,for now. I gave a B rating based on his willingness to travel far for the job and eagerness to be hired, but cannot give a rating on his work.

Very well. Our cleaning provider, Aaron was very thorough and courteous, taking great care in the cleaning of our home. I'd recommend him and plan on having him back on a regular basis.

I scheduled with Handy twice and both times they canceled- once in less than an hour before the appointed time and once just 25 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. A great waste of my time.

Time after time, the appointment day and time were scheduled and I'd get last-minute notice of cancellation, and reassignment of appointment. I was advised that the team chose not to "pick up" my job. You mean they can just arbitrarily decide that? What kind of company is that?? NOT my kind. I canceled my order, purchased the same mattress (with a different model name) from JCPenney. The mattress was delivered in FOUR DAYS. There will be no more purchases from Wayfair nor work solicited from Handy on my end.

The company is awful! THEY contacted ME after seeing that I was on Angie's list and looking for help. They wanted pre-payment, which I don't like, but did anyway. It's hard to pay for something when you don't know the quality. But, I paid and the cleaning was scheduled. BTW, they charge a fee if you don't cancel within their 24 hour timeframe. THEY cancelled ME via email (which I don't always read right away). Then, they took the liberty of scheduling the next day, which I specified that I needed Tuesdays when we spoke. I work other days. I had no way to verbally get in touch with them. All contact after the initial phone call has to be done via email. I had no way to stress the importance (verbally) of not sending someone without talking to me first (for my availability) and no way to discuss when that re-schedule could be. They advertise that they will respond within 10 minutes to emails....NOT TRUE. They sent another email saying the same thing....they would be here Wednesday. After wasting the entire morning sending several emails not to come, I emailed to cancel all services and to refund my money ASAP since the cancellation was not on my end. They ruined my day by wasting so much time. I will NEVER recommend using any service that cannot take a phone call for something as simple as rescheduling. Also, I am done prepaying. They did refund my money just before midnight that day, but I was told that it can be 3-5 business days. It is the only thing they did right.

Laurie C. cleaned this house better than its ever been cleaned by any of my previous cleaning ladies. I could tell that she loved cleaning and had a lot of pride in her work. She was also a very pleasant person to have in my house. Handys full price option is more than I would like to pay.

This was my first experience with home cleaning, and I was very pleased with the results. The wood floors were shiny and the windows, mirrors, and baseboards wiped clean. The bathrooms were scrubbed down as well as the kitchen.

went online to try to get a refund and it's like a maze trying to get any information. You can't speak to anybody has to be all done online

It did not go. Provider canceled one hour before appointment. I had new tenants moving in the next day. I was given a replacement date 3 days after the tenants were moving in. Service cancelled. I found another service.

I scheduled a house cleaning service with Handy. The company charged me for the service immediately (fine), sent two confirmation emails about the service (fine), and then never schedule the cleaning (nor fine). Here’s where the trouble started. I only knew the cleaning hadn’t been schedule because I happened to check the app. (I didn’t think I needed to do that since I’d received two calendar confirmations.) It was then I noticed nothing had been scheduled. I sent a note to customer service, and I was told that I could cancel the cleaning but I’d be charged a $15 fee for “the travel time and blocking off their schedules for a booking that is cancelled or rescheduled with short notice.” When I pointed out that nobody has been scheduled and asked for the fee to be waived, I was told that wasn’t company policy. They also didn’t refund the $115 cleaning—offering only a “company credit”—so I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will not be using this service again.
